She smiled without realizing that she was doing it. "So you keep saying." She tried to sound bored, or maybe amused, but there was a gratitude in her voice, a warmth. And, she'd never admit it, but her eyes looking at him were filled with love.

She flushed the smallest bit, and she was not happy at having an audience for that. "Yeah," she muttered, "like weeds."
Wonder watched them then her eyes widened. "Right, if we're grown... you can tell me about boys now, daddy!"
