"Too convincing for your own good." Cori mumbled, pushing her boots off with the other foot then pushing them off the bed. She knew she should be doing something, or she usually did something at anyrate before she let herself but she couldn't think, half asleep already as she rested against him. "Night love." she murmured, barely audible but intending to be slightly louder. Strange how the brain refused to connect with anything when it wanted sleep. She was asleep within a few minutes, deep enough that she wouldn't wake up short of being pushed off the bed or something similar.

She woke a couple hours before dawn, staring about the dark room and trying to calm herself down. Damn dreams. She never remembered them, only that it was the same one every night, and she woke up scared and feeling incredibly protective. She shifted closer to Vadász, wanting th comfort from just being against him. It was soothing, oddly enough. She finally drifted off to sleep again, though it seemed like light streamed through the window to hit her face as soon as she fell asleep again.

Cori sighed softly, trying to convince herself to get up but failing miserably.

"Why do the nights keep getting shorter?" Cori mumbled, sighing softly as she made herself sit up. Once she was there she knew she wouldn't go back to sleep. She slipped out of bed, stiffling a yawn as she did so and quickly changing into something clean. She had her back to him, not that she cared at the moment. She wouldn't be fully functional for a few more minuts, or aware of what she was doing.

"Not my fault... Well, it is, but that's way beside the point." Cori retorted, going into the bathroom and splashing her face with cold water to wake herself up. She went back out to him, pausing. "You can come if you want. If it'll keep you from being bored to death or talking to strange animals." she said with a faint smile, standing near the door.

Cori laughed, reaching out a hand to help him up before leading him outside. "Do realize they aren't going to fight like most people. Fast and accurate, rather than brute force or fancy swordwork." she told him, leading the two down the hall and outside to where the two were waiting. A boy and a girl, both only around thirteen were waiting.
"Karik and Anna, this is Vadáasz and Prisa. You won't need the bows, just your knives." Cori said, setting her bow and quiver against the wall and slipping her two knives from their sheath on one hip. One was a heavier saxe knife, the other smaller and made for throwing. Both were a strong steel and razor sharp. "Just watch, watch what I do an how I react." she told them. They knew the basics of fighting, just not the rest. Not what she wanted them to. She looked to Vadász. "And don't even start worrying about hurting me." she said with a light glare to enforce it, getting a smile from the two apprentices.

"She tends to bite if you come close to her hair though. She was about to murder me yesterday because of it." Anna added with a grin.
Cori rolled her eyes. "That's because you two decided to sneak up on my and grab it when I was eating." she retorted before darting at Vadász, and around him. Or so she attempted to.

The two apprentices watched, standing well out of the way of the two and watching with wide eyes. They'd seen Cori shoot, but not show off or do anything impressive with her bow. They hadn't seen her fight with anyone either.

Cori froze, feeling his knife bite into her side, though not far, as she touched the flat of her own to his neck. She grinned, not making any effort to slow her breathing. She let her arms fall to her side, gently pulling away from him and pushing a hand to the cut after sheathing her knives. "Remind me not to ever give you reason to hurt me." she murmured, laughing as the two apprentices were obviously trying to keep from bombarding them with questions. "Gimme a minute, go run around or something. Better yet, throw at one of the targets. Hilts and point." she said, watching the two nod then slip off to do so, and let her and Vazdász rest.
