Now that I made up my mind, it seemed we were going to slow. "If you'll excuse me Bethany." I said as I picked her up in my arms and ran faster than a normal human could but not as fast as I my wolf self. I loved the warmth she gave agaisnt my chest as I ran with her in my arms.

Bethany squealed with delight as she was picked up and carried at a speed faster than she could ever run as she nuzzled her forehead against his neck.

I growled inside as we got near her house. When we made it to her home, I put her back on her feet. "Sorry about that Bethany, I find myself becoming more and more impatient now that there's a chance of being with you." I said grinning as I began to walk to the front door.

Bethany grinned as she leaned against him, feeling a little breathless. "Attic... all my supplies are up there..." she said, trying to catch her breath.

I looked at Bethany as she regained her breath. "You know Bethany if you lose breath that quickly perhaps we should not even begin this possible path, for I assure you that if we start you will be having a greater need to regain your breath, if that is you're willing of course." I said grinning.

Bethany grinned. "I guess I just need someone to help me work on my endurance then." she said with a laugh before she bolted for the hallway where the pull-down ladder for the attic was. "You better huryr up, slowpoke!" she teased.

I grinned "Well then I humbly volunteer to take the time to make sure you have the best endurance in the town." I said as I reached and waited as she pulled the ladder down. "So Bethany exactly what will you need to do so that this test can be carried out?' I asked wondering about the test.

She quickly pulled the ladder down and started to climb it. "Just a vial of blood. One from you and one from me." she said. "And then the time to put them together under the microscope."

I followed her up stairs and whistled at the sight of her backside. "Very well then. Take as much blood as you might need." I said grinning. The wolf in me decided to settle down, almost like a calm beofre the storm.

Bethany blushed as he whistled. "Here, sit in my chair." she said, trying to not just tackle him right then and there, as she opened a drawer and pulled out the pre-sterilized and packaged medical supplies and laid them out on her desk. "Are you any good at drawing blood? Because I won't be able to pull a sample of my blood by myself..."

I could smell her many scents, all of them made me want to devour her, her blood was just one. "When you live with a vampire who has people give blood like the red cross instead of biting them, you pick up a thing or two about taking blood." I said smiling. I could clearly see the veins that pulsed with desire.

She nodded and bit her bottom lip nervously. "I.. I havent' done this very often, so I need you to be as still as possible..." she said her hands and voice shaking a little bit as she rolled up his sleave enough to expose his arm.

I nodded as I became as still as a statue. I didn't even feel the needle as it drew my blood, as I was too busy watching her lovely face. How I wanted to just sweep her up in my arms and kiss those tender lips of hers. Drawing my eyes away from her I watched as she continued to draw my blood.

en though she had been shaking, her professionalism took over as she took the blood sample, quickly fillign the vial, pulling the needle out, and then putting cotton on the area and a large wrap-around bandage to keep the cotton in place. She took the needle out of the vial and carefully put it into a biohazard bag. She worked quickly, expertly as she ready the next set so Josh could draw her blood. She gave him a quick, flirtive glace before sneaking a quick kiss. "Okay... time for me to sit really still for you..." she whispered before offering up a shy little giggle.

I grinned as I took up the syringe. "You'll pay for that one later." I jokingly said. I allowed myself to go back to the time I lived with Vivian the Vampire. Without my registering I found the vein in which I needed and drew the blood. I pulled the now full syringe and filled a vial like Bethany had done. I took the needle off and put it into the biohazard bag. "All done Bethany, you got any suckers, or lolipops you want me to go get for you; or do doctors not do that anymore?" I asked, after all it had been a very very long time since I last visited a doctor.
