"The pleasure is all mine." He had noticed her pull her bag in closer with her legs, but he'd have done the same. Still, it sudgested that something in there was worth protecting. Crenu was no theif and didn't intend on doing anything rash, but it was always good to know when something that might attract trouble was near by. "Indeed, we traveled together for a little while in Johto. Are you two previously aquainted as well?"

This time, Adamantine cried out in pain as fire seemed to come from every direction, and the sheer amount of it alone was enough to cause pain and discomfort. The Larvitar felt her body shaking with rage, and from somewhere with in she felt a dark power calling out to her. Somehow still clinging to the back of the Camerupt, she reared back, her fist glowing with that strange, dark energy before she swung forward, aiming to land a devastating blow to the back of the Pokemon's head.
Whoa, what attack was that? Kasiya thought, blinking in curiosity. She'd never seen Ada do anything like that before, although she did recall that last night, she'd sent out a pulse of darkness that seemed to shoot out in all directions. But that's not the same as last night... she thought, trailing off. Either way, she was quite impressed by the hit.
Having been winded by using Overheat, Camerupt was pretty much a sitting Psyduck to Ada's fierce counterattack, and the large Pokemon bellowed loudly in intense pain as the Rock-type's fist practically crushed the back of his head. The Larvitar was small, yes, but she sure could pack a punch! Still bellowing with all his might, Camerupt shook his body once more, finally able to knock the small Pokemon from him. He took a second to look around before he pawed the ground with a hoof and charged at the smaller Pokemon, preparing to use Body Slam as per Flannery's orders.
=-=-=-=-= Combusken's eyes grew wide at the sight of the Thunderbolt heading towards her, but as she attempted to dodge, the cuts on her legs from the previous Rock Tomb attack caused her to stumble a bit and the electricity to strike her. She cried out as she tried to fight it off, managing to stagger back and get a good look at the Nosepass. She'd never seen anything like it before, and she didn't like it.
"Okay Combusken, hang in there!" Jaeshan shouted. "Fight back with Rock Slide!" Combusken let out a loud growl before she raised one leg high in the air and then brought it back down quickly, causing the ground to rumble and send up an avalanche of rocks into the air before they came cascading down again towards the Nosepass.

"We've met a few times before. I believe at the daycare near Mauville, Hoenn," Mitsu replied. She left a bit more at ease due to the conversation flow. "And traveling in Jhoto, eh? I haven't spent much time in that region actually." She noticed Crenu eye her bag. At the least he hadn't made any sudden movements. Even if he did Karri would be out in a flash to end any rash actions. "I'm guessing you're here for the beach party as well, eh? I hear it's supposed to be exciting."

Being a master of rock type Pokemon herself, it was only natural for Roxanne to be impressed by the young Combusken's Rock Slide attack. She also was aware that the attack would deal normal damage, as rock versus rock wasn't hampered or helped by weakness and resistance. Her Pokemon remained stoic even after being bombarded by rocks, as it refused to show that it had been hurt at all. "Nosepass... Rock Tomb," she commanded sharply.
Its 'hands' flew up to the sides of its head and it shook back and forth, clearing a path of sorts from the debris Combusken had created. For a second its hands flashed and a small shockwave traveled out from under it, causing more spires of rock to shoot up around the fighting type. It was evident that Nosepass was more experienced than both Aron or Geodude.
((When talking with other characters it's hard to make posts longer. It's no big deal though.))

"I haven't spent any time elsewhere." Crenu thought about pulling up a chair, but decided against it. Standing suited him just fine for now and he had done enough sitting on the train. "I suppose, to be honest I only came here for the Pokemon battles. I knew lots of trainers would come from all over and I want to battle as many strong opponents as I can." He became very serious all of a sudden as he looked out through the window thinking about the trainers he would meet in the next few days, what kinda pokemon they would use and the strategies they would fight with. But all he could see now were regular tourists and workers setting up booths and attractions. "I'm not really into the games and all that other kid stuff, don't have much of it in Ecruteak I'm afraid. Only serious spiritual festivals to honor the towers." He was finding it easier to converse with Mitsu. She seemed like a mature individual who carried an air of intellect as well as hardship, something he could relate to. Not only that, but he had long since forgotten about the bag and was instead more curious to find out about the Hoenn region. ((I know, but dialog posts generally don't have much you can work with.))

Robin's mother just shook her head and smiled at her daughter. "Well then, I hope you are ready to go find a new bathing suit for yourself. I want you to look pretty for the boys, who knows maybe you will get a boyfriend." Her mother teased.
"Mo-om!" Robin cried her face matching her hair now. Her mother was so embarrassing!
"Oh honey don't be so embarrassed, now come on sweetie lets get going." She said pushing her daughter forward but doing her best to not look at Razputin. This of course caused the Yanma to buzz around her even more.
Both Robin and her mother headed out onto the streets of Goldenrod talking about all the things that they had done while the other was gone. Soon they both arrived at the small shopping mall, the mall itself wasn't to busy and it didn't take them long to find the perfect suit for Robin. It was white with a pink trim on it, they also picked up a thin white sarong and a white hat with a matching pink bow. Shopping done Robin and her mother headed home, Robin figured she could stay home at least until her dad came home so she could see him before heading out to Slateport.
Going up the stairs to the small apartment that they lived in Robin couldn't help but feel great at seeing everything from her familiar home. Using her key Robin unlocked the door to let them both inside. She was surprised to see something dash across the floor and hide behind something. Luffy who also saw it leaped off of her shoulder and gave chase. Turning to her mom Robin gave her a confused look. "Mom?"

"Ada, look out!" Kasiya cried fearfully as the charging Camerupt set its sights on the Larvitar. Looking up Ada could do nothing but roll out of the way of the oncoming Pokemon, having not yet recovered from being thrown off of its back. "Ancientpower!" Kasiya practically screamed, blood pounding in her ears now. Both she and Flannery still had one Pokemon left, but she wanted to change that very quickly. If Ada could take down Camerupt...
The Hard Stone Ada wore around her neck glimmered a bit as she raised her small arms skyward, pulling a glowing chunk of rock up off the ground and hurling it as though she'd thrown it with Psychic powers. Kasiya couldn't help but wonder just how much the new item was helping her Larvitar, but as the Pokemon shimmered with a white glow, she smiled broadly - Ancientpower had given Ada a boost in all stats!
Flannery frowned when she saw Adamantine start to glow - she knew all too well what that meant. To top it off, the flying rock smashed poor Camerupt directly between the eyes and he staggered. "Try to fight back with Magnitude!" she shouted somewhat weakly, wondering how she'd let a little pipsqueak like that overpower her mighty Camerupt. The large Pokemon wavered a bit but weakly brought his forelegs up before slamming them on the ground, sending out a weak tremor that seemed to barely crack the floor. Flannery groaned and threw her head back, trying either not to cry or laugh - it was hard to tell - as Magnitude turned out to be the weakest it possibly could be.
=-=-=-=-= Combusken let out a pained cry as she found this Rock Tomb to be more damaging than the last. The cuts and scrapes on her legs had been opened up again and she was now bleeding in several places. Her movement was now a lot more restricted because of her injuries, but she was not ready to give in yet. Her body then seemingly became sheathed in a reddish glow, and Jaeshan frowned, knowing that when Combusken's Blaze ability kicked in, she only had a little bit of steam left. "Flamethrower," he told her quickly, knowing the attack would be boosted because of her low stamina. He hoped it would give the attack a little more to it, but he didn't think it would be enough to finish Nosepass, even if she scored a critical hit.
Panting, Combusken reared back and let the flames fly. Between the Flamethrower attack and her glowing body the area looked as though it had been illuminated by a miniature sun.

Huh? Crenu with a teasing tone? Whatever had spurred the change in the last... two days? The last time she'd seen him, he was totally indifferent to her, even slightly hostile if memory served correctly.
Anyways, Crenu's and Mitsu's introductions to one another gave her time to snap out of her confounded state. Her mind instead wandered to that time she'd met Mitsu and Kasiya the first time... Kasiya had returned her PokeNav she'd left at the Mauville PokeCenter, and she'd made lunch in her Mary-Poppins-pop-up wok. Wow. It wasn't that long ago, was it?
In fact, her journey had only been maybe over two-three weeks by now. Yet she had done so much, met so many new people.
She realized she'd been quiet for some time. "Oi, say, wanna grab a chair or something?" noting his position. Without any reason or rhyme, she glanced casually at the clock. Afternoon already. Today felt like it was just slipping away.

"Battles, eh? Straight forward I suppose," Mitsu replied almost offering up a battle right there an then, even if battles weren't exactly her forte. She was decent enough at the least and had some powerful Pokemon to back her up. However, she held her tongue. It wasn't quite the time or the place she felt, especially after Ivy's little evolution refusal stunt earlier in the day. "Haven't been there before," Mitsu said as he brought up what she supposed was his hometown, "I do have a friend who use to visit quite often though. I believe it's got a Flying typed gym right?" Ken had told her he was headed there again after he had given her some mysterious warning about her powers. He was probably working on his breeding there, maybe she'd drop on by for a visit later. Then again, this new rumored region did spark her intrest so she decided against it. Perhaps another time I'll visit. "Serious spiritual festivals, eh? I went to a Cherry Blossom festival in Cherrygrove a while ago that was all about the games. Two extremes I suppose," Mitsu chuckled lightly, "Kind of like how we've got a random space center in Mossdeep Island and then all these contest halls spread around the region."

"I'll stand." Crenu said softly to M.A. It seemed that she had accepted his new demenor now, even if he hadn't fully accepted it yet. He turned his attention back to Mitsu and listened, for a moment he thought she wanted to battle but it must have been his imagination. "Actually it's a ghost gym. The festivals honor the spirits of the town and the ones that gather in the burned tower. But that's a history lesson in itself." He thought for a moment at the things she said about this region, he'd never seen a space station before. And contests? He knew very little about them before turning his attention back to M.A. "You're from this region originaly right? What exactly are contests anyway, they aren't like regular gym and trainer battles right?" He had only heard a few vague details about pokemon contests before and was curiouse to hear more, so he adressed the question to the both her and Mitsu.

"You're asking about contests?" M.A. laughed a little. She'd been watching her brother Sae and Lynne -- well, for the last seven years or so, just Sae -- in contests so long, the only thing she didn't know about were the technicalities of actually being in one.
"I'm from Hoenn, but... I thought contests had spread to all the regions by now?" she blinked. In fact, before retiring, Michael Sae had been competing in another region that she couldn't recall at the moment. Well anyways, to answer his question -- he seemed genuinely curious. "Nah, coordinators have a different job from trainers; their goal is to showcase their Pokemon at the best. They have contests every little while," her eyes grew hazy as she continued, apparently remembering some distant contest. "Instead of just duking it out, there's two rounds. First round's appeals, second round's battles. S'all about style."
She realized with some surprise that a part of her heart yearned for her words. What, hadn't she decided to be a trainer rather than a coordinator?

"They have, I've just never really looked into them before. No one I know has ever mentioned being a coordinator or anything." He thought about it for a moment, lost in his thoughts and speaking at the same time. "A contest to show off your pokemon's talents as well as battle skills...interesting. Sounds like you have to be one with your pokemon's powers and skill, a level of focus regular battles lack. With my tactical calculations I bet I could show off the full power of my pokemon in these 'contests'. Very interesting indeed... You seem knowledgable about contests, you even sound different when you talk about it. You ever thought about beign a coordinator M.A.?"

At her daughters question Robin's mom looked somewhat embarrassed. "Well I must say there is an alternate reason for our little shopping trip. You see a little after you left we went on a walk. Well on this walk we came across a group of pokemon who were playing around in a flower field. Anyway we spent a bit of time watching them and before we knew it we were surrounded by them. They were so cute and so we ended up spending the day there. So around sunset we waved goodbye and we headed back home. What we didn't know is that one of those cute little pokemon followed us home! We didn't quite know what to do but we let the little one spend the night deciding to take him back the next day. When we went back the next day the whole bunch of them had moved on. While your father and I like the thought of having a pokemon around while you are gone the little thing unfortunately agitates your father's allergies. So when you called the other day I figured that since our daughter is a trainer now she could just take him with her."
Durring the story Robin watched her mother with a strange look on her face. She didn't notice Luffy and the other pokemon were eying each other for a moment. Seemingly at the same time though they both gave a small cheer and spun around at the same time, acceptance and liking of each other. Raz who noticed the prancing around buzzed over to them and stared at the other small pokemon who his nakama was spinning around with. The two eyed each other for a second before Raz did a little flip that the other pokemon imitated.
"Ok mom, you didn't have to go through all of that just to get me to help you out." She was somewhat put off that her mom thought she had to bribe her like that. "I will be happy to help you out if whatever it was you picked up gets along with Luffy and Raz." That was after all one of her only requirements for joining her team, you had to have spirit and Luffy had to like them.
Her mother just smiled and pointed behind her at the three pokemon who were playing together. "Well then they do seem to be getting along."
Turning around she watched her two pokemon play with the strange pink pokemon with two feeler like green leaves on its head. "Oh. Well it seems like they like each other..." Robin said as she watched them play. She did not recognize the pokemon they were playing with. Pulling out her pokedex she flipped it open and scanned it.
Hoppip the cottonweed pokemon. Hight 1'4". Weight 1.1 pounds. Ability Chlorophyll, when Sunny Day is in effect this pokemon's speed is doubled. Hoppip drifts and floats with the wind, they travel around in groups to avoid being blown away in large gusts of wind.
Now knowing what the pokemon she was going to be taking on was Robin stared at it for a second as she shut the dex. Well she didn't know all that much about it still but it was cute and got along with her pokemon. "So did you name him?" She asked, she didn't have any real idea what to name it, usually she got inspired.
"Oh we did! The first thing we did was look up what the cute little guy was. We saw his fully evolved form and couldn't help but think of that skeleton character from that show Luffy is from!"
"Brook?"
"Yes! I always thought he was funny and when he was on! Also this little one gets a sort of afro and that makes him look exactly like that skeleton! Now why don't you go over and introduce yourself to Brook."

Roxanne had to shield her eyes from the intense blast of light given off by the flames, and for a moment she feared for Nosepass. However when the flames were gone, Nosepass was still standing, cluching its head with its strange little arms, but there were telltale scorch marks decorating its body. Not another burn, Roxanne frowned, eying the Combusken. She'd seen a few of these Pokemon in her time and knew they were tough, and this one was no exception. A small smirk spread across her face as she looked back to Nosepass.
"One last Thunderbolt should do the trick," she said somewhat calmly, closing her eyes. Once again Nosepass began to spin as the current of electricity was built up. Coming to a stop, the Compass Pokemon pointed an arm at Combusken, leting the energy fly.

"Ghost gym. Haha. I guess I'm getting my cities mixed up," Mitsu laughed, "Ecruteak sure sounds intresting. I'm suer my Gengar would love to visit this tower you mentioned. And our space station oddly gets quite a few tourist. They launch rather often as well. Maybe I could show you around if you ever decide to visit Mossdeep." She gave a small nod along with her last statement before he continued to chat about contests. Truth be told, she wasn't as informed as M.A. was when it came to contests but she did know a thing or two. "I think they do have contests in every region now, but Hoenn's more known for them. And I've heard that Kanto and Jhoto coordinators were more, what's the word, advanced? Than other coordinators. But it's just what I've heard."
Mitsu restrained herself from shaking her head as Crenu continued to talk about power this and power that. She didn't believe that power was all there was to it in contest or even in Pokemon battles. But she didn't need any enemies so she held her tongue. "I can picture you as a coordinator M.A. I'd love to try it out too, it sounds intresting. I'm sure Karri would love it. A nice change from the normal battle."
Out of her bag floated a purple blob. "Ebony, what are you doing?" Mitsu asked as the pokemon floated up through the table. "I thought I called you back into your Pokeball a whle ago" The ghost-poison Pokemon hissed with laughter. Mitsu rolled her eyes as he pointed to his mouth. She reached into her bag, making sure not to reveal even the smallest corner of a page of her book and pulled out a bag of candy. She poured a few into her hands before deciding against it and set the entire thing on the table. "Feel free to take some," Mitsu said to the two people across from her. The Gengar hissed with pleasure as he shoved a handful of chocolate into his mouth with a few stray strawberry flavored ones in the bunch.
