Cedric relaxed a bit. "Now that she's carring a foal, it'll set us back further." He smiled and shook his head, the horses this year were among the hardest he'd ever trained. "Don't let Gwen fool you though. She's doing an amazing job with Path." He intertwined their fingers.
Johnson took another drink of tea. "That he would. But there is no way Konoha is going to be trained in time. Path and Kalypso and possibly Shadow but not her. She's in to decilate of a state to work with much."

Amy nodded. "But before we train them we still have to fully gain their trust." Amy said. She finished the rest of of her tea then put it in the sink. Bella was dozing off besides the chair. "I'm hungry...sha'll we go join the others?" Amy asked going to go get her coat.

Kalypso's head shot up and he glared at Shadow, his eyes threatening if the stallion came to close to him. He stomped his good leg on the ground. He snarled when he was laughed at. "I swear, as soon as my shoulder's better...." He said, watching Shadow.
((Has it stopped raining? ))

Shadow chuckled again tossing his head, eyeing Kalypso. "Can't wait." Was all he laughed out. Chuckling once again he moved into a quick gallop around the pen.

((I thought it would be fun to have a two day rainstorm...so it's only drizzleing, like a mist. And it'll be over by nightfall.))
Konoha watched Shadow cautiously. "Just let him be a silly little colt Kalypso. He isn't worth it."
Johnson stood, "Why not I'd like to meet Gwen's mom." He smiled suggesting that he would like to see her reaction to Gwen and Colonel's relationship.

Amy giggled a little bit. "So would I." she said as she opened up the door walking outside waiting.
Shadow ingored Konoha and contiuend to bother the others.

"I am not surprised. My girl always had a gift with our animal brothers and sisters. That was why I sent her to her grandparents out of the city."Cass said with a proud smile.
Gwen just blushed and smiled shyly. She laughed watching Kavik bound over to Amy looking for Bella.

Amy laughed and patted Kavik's head. "She's inside boy, sleeping. Feel free to go see her." Amy said stroking his head. She stood up and smiled at Gwen and waved.

Cedric was iching to find out why Cass had come to talk to Gwen but he kept from saying anything about it. "She has an amazing gift with them." He looked at her and gently squeezed her hand.

Kalypso bared his teeth at Shadow. "I know, Konoha, but we'd all be better off without him..." he said, staring down the other black stallion. He snorted, his muscles bunching beneath his skin, but he restrained himself, and tried to ignore him as much as he could, by turning his attention to the fenceline. He sighed and turned away from Path and Konoha, and limped to the fence and neighed again.

Johnson halted and looked toward Kalypso. He was getting used to the stallion's neigh. He walked over to the fence, watching Shadow, but turning his attention to Kalypso. "Hey boy. What's wrong?"

Kalypso looked at Johnson with his ears pricked forward. He nickered and limped towards the pasture gate, nudging it. "I want out." He said, although he knew he couldn't hear him say that. Kalypso wanted to get away from Shadow, his temper was rising. He nodded his head up and down, causing his loose halter to slid around a bit on his face.

Amy stood up and walked slowly over to Johnson. She pulled out a suagr cube and slowly walked next to Johnson, holding out her hand to Kalypso with the sugar cube in it.

Cass nodded. "I am traveling to see my siblings and I heard you were hear and decided to drop."she said smiling at Gwen. "I had a feeling now would be the perfect time."she said a playful twinkle in her eyes.
Gwen grinned. "Your feelings are always right. You picked QUITE the perfect time."she said the last part mockingly.

((Sorry everyone but my posting shall be weird in the next few days....my life at the moment is hectic.))
Johnson watched Kalypso. "What boy? Your going to have to give me a better clue than that." He looked about the pasture spotting Shadow, the relization dawning on his face. "Oh, ok I get it. You don't want to be near him." Chuckling he clipped on a lead rope and swung the gate open.
Cedric laughed he held the door open for both of them ignoring the round of glances and questioning looks they were getting.
