"Well he wants me alive for some reason."He said. He look over to the man that had injured him before."Can we go before my leg wakes up?"He said.He seemed calm. It wasn't a gift, but this ability had saved his head more than once. He could keep his cool even when staring death in the face.
James was now asleep in his room. He didn't know he was still on duty, but he thought he deserved the rest, and he needed time to think.

Rallyhn grinned "thats if your leg isnt broken, that car could've, and that ice you have on your leg could be very well numbing the pain" he started off dragging matt on the ground again "and if i see the beast, I'll let 'em know"

"Don't you have a car or something?"Matt complained. He was very uncomfortable at the moment. Though no one could tell whether it was because of his leg, ofr the fact he was being dragged down the street.

Rallyhn smiled "no, but we're almost there" Rallyhn telekenetically picked up Matt, but still kept a firm grip on his ankle. "i dont have a car, yet. I already have the money to get one, but I'll use your reward money to get me some nice wheels"

"Do you have any idea how weird this feels?"He said. "Though it is favorable to being dragged." He looked down at the ground below him. Other than the sharp pain in his leg and his imminent death in the future, this was actually a somewhat good day.

She kept drawing, eventually she looked up and noticed she was alone. Sighing she shut her book and got up, going to find someone. She wondered where they had all gone off to now

Rallyhn laughed "Yeah, but isnt it a dream for most humans to fly? So just shut up and enjoy it otherwise I'll just drag you over there on that sidewalk, we're not that far" He said looking over at Ana's apartment in the distance.

"What do you mean?"He asked Rallyhn."She some kind of midget or something?He had never actually seen the beast, only heard of it. He wanted the status of being a beast. It attracts more customers than he did as is.

Ana was back to sorting her papers in the office. She left the other guests to themselves. She glanced at the clock periodically and noted the flood on the news. "Damn. Wanted him to come nice and easy. No attention drawn." She sighed and started with the tedious task of shredding the unwanted papers. "Retto! Give me a hand will yah?"

Retto snapped awake."Huh? Wha?"He said in a startled voice."He looked around to see if there was agents there or something.He soon realized there wasn't. He walked in to see Ana."What?" He asked her.
Matt yelped a bit as a loud crack was heard. luckily, it wasn't his leg this time, but the ice surrounding it had shattered and a frgment had broken into his leg. 'b***h 'He thought angrily, but he was not dumb enough to suffer the consequences of saying it aloud.

Rallyhn chuckled some "you seem aggrivated. did your little ice cast break?" he smiled and continued walking before he looked at Ana's apartment in the distance 'Five minutes, I already have him and we're right up the street, please make sure the alarms are off Ana' the telepathically said into Ana's mind.

Ana sighed and stood up. "Will you feed these through the shredder?" She walked off leaving the boy alone with the nulled contracts. She picked up Matt's and slid it into her pocket as she walked up. She stretched up when she walked to the door of the apartment and began to disable the security system to allow the demon through. She reminded herself to get him a key.
