Shiroi felt Shun dodge her attack, but showed no sign of getting frustrated. That wasn't her way. She stayed cool and calm, and made thought-out decisions. She knew that once he had deflected her attack, or dodged, he would undoubtedly counterattack. And if his last move was any indicator, he would use his sword again, to create a beam of destructive force. As such, even as he began speaking, she was already going into motion, rushing to the side. Not to dodge, such a small degree of movement would not affect the trajectory needed for a beam strike. Instead, she was rushing toward a simple rock on the ground. She stretched her arm and picked it up, before whipping it with considerable force. Not at Shun, but beyond and to the side of him. As the beam rushed toward her in a spectacular explosion, she activated a Substitution with the stone, and continued running. Even then, she barely avoided vast injury, taking only minor dissolution and some singing. Not waiting for herself to finish pulling together, she Body Flickered behind Shun and attacked, with a large gobbet of substance. Not where he was, because she was confident he would simply see her attack and dodge, but where she would be if she were to do the same.

And yes, Kiki, any of your made-ups that are not in the Compendium are supposed to be. Some may already be there, you'd have to check.)

Shiroi hadn't really expected her predicted counter to work, and sure enough, Shun's foresight seemed pretty strong, indeed. She dropped the last little bit down to the ground and started to rush for him, even as the black fire rushed toward her. Instead of dodging or anything else, she simply swallowed it up, gulping it down in one enormous inhalation. As she finished, her eyes water gelatinous tears. That was certainly going to give her heartburn! But she had survived it, and was still rushing toward her enemy, her head lowered as her eyes were still teary, operating through touch like most of her troops.

Shiroi had continued to charge at Shun, sensing her surroundings, at least until her eyes cleared enough to see normally. She could sense him draw a blade, it was a different shape than the others, so undoubtedly it did something different. Electricity, perhaps? No matter, she continued to rush forward, even as the blade smoothly bit into her, slicing cleanly through her substance, only for the cut to pull it's edges together again. When the blade tried to drain her energy, Shiroi's chakra system reacted in a reflexive action that she wasn't even truly aware of how it worked. All she knew was that it only happened when others tried to drain her chakra.
(Using the made-up, Flooding Chakra. (When Shiori is targeted by a draining technique, I roll a d10. On a roll of 2, 4, 6 and 8, it drains the opponent instead of her. On a roll of 3, 5, 7 and 9, it replenishes her chakra instead of draining it. On a roll of 1, it functions normally. On a roll of 10, It does both of the first two, replenishing Shiroi's chakra and draining her opponent's.)

Shiroi hadn't struggled when Shun's latest blade turned into a skeletal snake and wrapped around her. But a moment later, she did escape it's grasp, and rather easily. It was just as difficult to grip her as it was to grip water. In other words, extremely difficult. As well, on the way out, she gobbled up a big chunk of the chakra holding Zabimaru's snake form together. By then Shun was rushing toward her, so she blew out a strong blast of flame at him, and then turned intangible, to dodge his headlong rush.

Shiori let Shun pass directly through her. She was currently intangible, so he could swing his sword as much as he wanted, and it would do even less than usual against her. She started dodging as he wheeled around to continue his attack, although it wasn't entirely necessary. She jumped and rolled, juked and shifted, ran through the air like it was solid ground, and all in all led Shun on a merry chase.
