Shocked senseless, Yue couldn't quite register what had happened. One minute Sef was fine and the next- Sef did a complete 360! gonk What the hell did you do to him!!!! scream ME!!!! You said you would make sure nothing went wrong! stare I said no such thing, now help your friend! Yue reached up to Sef, "Sef, whats the matter? What's wrong? Sef please answer me!" When Sef started to laugh, he froze. The laughter brought unwanted memories careening to the surface. "Make it stop," Yue's ears layed flat against his head; "Please, make it!" He gripped his head in an attempt to block put the laughter.

Yue flared red, tendrils of light whipping about. They twisted across his body, wrapping him in a defensive shell. STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT, ST- scream Hey wolf boy, don't even think about it! If you touch him his magic will attack! I'll try on my end but stop that DAMN laughing! That's what's got him in this shape!

Jumping at the sound of breaking ceramics, Dimitri scans the floor for lost or damaged specimens, drawing a thin vial from his cane. By the time he realized the sound was not of broken lab equipment, a maniacal had filled the air, and many of his companions seemed in pain. Without thinking, he drew a red ringed, pen shaped pneumatic syringe from his cane, and was on the verge of injecting himself, when he realized that Sef was the source of the hideous sound. He exchanged the red syringe for one with blue bands, and advanced toward Sef in the gentlest manner he could manage in the circumstances. "SEF! This will sting for a moment, but it should help!" I hope I've analyzed correctly... And flipped the top of his cane open, preparing the fail safe.

[Heh, sedatives and focusing nanites don't tend to explode, but the cane and cure are at the ready XD] Gently pressing the Syringe to Sef's neck, the brief hiss of pneumatic pressure releasing is almost inaudible. Oh please let it have been a shift of psyche. Though there are very few other possibilities that would cause such a dramatic change in attitude, and even those will be relatively cured by this inoculation, remember, you developed this first in a fear of being driven mad by loose and decaying nanites... Focus! You must ensure that they do not remain active for too long without proper energy. Dimitri removes the syringe, and stores it in a vest pocket, never moving his eyes from Sef, or his thumb from the switch on the cane, watching intently the Kitsune's every move.

[Heh, my thoughts exactly, I suppose I'll turn in after this, see ya tomorrow gents] "It is my only somewhat successful nanite design to date. They induce a restful waking state that allows for slightly accelerated healing and organizing of thoughts, though each individual reacts differently..." Dimitri replied through half clenched teeth, fear for what could happen if he looked away and missed the appropriate moment causing him to hold the cane in a white knuckled grip and breathe heavily. "I just have to disable them before they become chaotic, if they even do, but also allow them time to perform a sufficient job. Tell me the instant anything looks wrong. Perhaps ..." he trailed off into muttering, still locked in position over Sef.
