The Montoyas smiled and replied back in unison “No problem!” and they headed downstairs when Liriale noticed a girl laying on the marble floor of the hallway. Leah gasped, “Ms. Scarlett!” Both Liriale and Leah rushed to her aid, kneeling down and helping Atolie up to a sitting position. Liriale instantly summoned a stream of cool water which she sectioned into two parts, one she gave to Leah, who kept Atolie upright with her hand against the girl’s back while her other hand pressed the cool water, shaped like a rectangular cold compress without the plastic, onto sections of Atolie’s face which were red from the fall. Liriale took the other half of the water and kept it suspended above Ms. Scarlett’s ankle which she was checking. “Looks like a twisted ankle,” Liriale informed Atolie. “No worries, I’ll use a little bit of my power to soothe the swelling. Then I will transform this water into a ring of healing ice, I call it that because it will encircle your ankle and keep the pain down as well as the inflammation down. It will evaporate as the injury heals and you can take slip it off or push it up to put your shoes on. I recommend you slip on some comfortable tennis shoes, not the slippers, and keep walking on to keep the blood flowing, it may be a little painful but staying off it will cause your ankle to swell and become stiff due to lack of blood circulation. If it continues to be painful then come see me in the medical office alright.” She informed and advised Atolie. Leah help her up and said, “We all still have time to grab something to eat, but the bell will be ringing in a half an hour or so. I will see you in class Ms. Scarlett and may your ankle heal swiftly.”

Of course Jake's orders were a bit tall. Most of the things brought into the infirmary were from his room. Pretty soon both Rio and Jake were sitting in front of a TV trading off instruments as they played the infamous Rock Band game for the Xbox 360.

So...Rio forgave Jake, eh? Well...the two are alike...so upon saying that...it wouldn't have taken much to get Rio to become buddy buddy with Jake.

"Its all the same. Only the names will chaaaaange. Everyday, it seems were wasting away. Another place, where the faces are so cold. I'd drive all night just to get back home! Im a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride! Im wanted!...Dead or Alive. Wanted! Dead or Alive!" Jake sang as Rio played away on the guitar remote, playing the song on Expert and getting each and every single note.

Now the next problem was the part about disturbing the peace. Every now and again each would turn up the volume just a tad till they were able to get the music up to a very loud level without alerting Madame Bone.

Emma looked down at the injured woman. She gave a weak smile, meant to be encouraging to the lady. The poor thing, ah well, there was little she could do. Maybe she should request some instruction in the healing arts, after all that's what the Angels told her she looked like...well some did anyways. The others-she mentally shook her head. Best not to dwell on the past, not with the present needing her companionship.

Liriale ensured that Atolie was doing well before her stomach gave a low threatening growl. “Ack! The tummy speaketh and I must obey!” She said in a cheerfully as she opened the doors leading outside to the grass area. Students and teachers alike dotted the lawn in groups and alone as they ate their various breakfast while chatting to friends or finishing last minute homework on the benches. Many were still browsing the various food stalls.

The group of Liriale, Leah, and Emma walked through the various stalls in search of the perfect breakfast meal. Liriale eyes shifted between an omelet and pancakes, while Leah eyed a strawberry crêpe.

Emma went with a strawberry crepe as well. It looked very appealing, and she did love strawberries. Well...she enjoyed fruit in general. SHe was adjusted to more exotic fruits, but these would do just as good. She wait on the oddball friends she had made, then they located a tree under which to eat breakfast.

[[ W00t! Rock Band! Dead or Alive is too damn long, though. My favorites are Paranoid, Say it Aint So, and Are You Gonna Be My Girl. ]]

Tsuki recovered from her laughter fairly quickly, just in time to see Amir turn his face. 'Was he...blushing?' Tsuki thought, daring the possibility. Up until now, what she finally admitted herself to having was a crush. But she knew that he would never like her back. 'How could an Expert like a little Beginner like me?' she tried to fathom. It made no sense to her. 'He probably got overheated from the humid room,' she finally concluded.

Still, when he smiled, Tsuki could not help but stare, caught in a dream-like state that she frequented all-too-often in his company.

"Th-thank you, Nicholas,"
she responded in a flash, hoping that was a proper response to whatever he had just said. "We should be getting to class now, it'll start soon," she said, unsure of how soon class was approaching.

A t o l i e

She made a mental note that next time she injured herself, she would make sure to do so severely enough to be excused from classes. Her day could not turn out any worse, she decided. She had reached an all time low. She was out of hot chocolate, her face was bleeding, she had to attend her classes, and she now had a limp. It might have been bearable if it wasn't for the limp. Or the lack of hot chocolate.

There were few things more humiliating than walking with a limp. People looked at you funny. And then they asked if you were alright. The pain wasn't anything she couldn't handle, it was more the attention and pity that Atolie desperately wished away. She longed to turn straight around and head back to her room, even if it meant going hot-chocolate-less, just so she could avoid going through the day in her current state.

This, was of course, impossible. Now that her teacher had seen her, and not only seen her, but indirectly informed her that she was expected to be in class, on time, she couldn't go back to her dorm. Because that would raise questions (which she didn't feel like thinking up excuses for) or worse -- cause someone to go looking for her. She didn't want to imagine such a horrible thing happening.

So, reluctantly, Atolie hobbled into her class and sat at her desk, glowering at the wall, as if she blamed it for all her misfortunes.

[Nuh-uh, Mr. E. 'Still Alive' is definitely the best.]

Rayvan materialized outside, in the shade of a tree. She had finished her praying and wanted a smoke. Bowing her head to lit her cigarette, she inhaled as soon as the toxic cancer stick was lit.
As she held the cigarette between her lips, she removed the towel from her air, and looked at it doubtfully. Reaching into her pocket, she fiddled around until she found the amulet she as looking for. Holding it in her free hand, she began to heal herself with water magic. The skin becoming smooth and flawless once more. Breathing in deeply, she sighed heavily. Using the amulets took a lot out of her, but this wasn't so back. Slipping it back into her pocket. Finishing her cigarette, she waited for the sound of the headmaster to tell them that the classes were starting, but until then she was going to rest here with her eyes closed.

((Man, Portal is the shits. But if you haven't played the Half-Life series the song isn't as funny))

And then...

"I will break...into your thoughts. With what's written on my heart...I will BREAK!" Rio screamed that last word and everything around them seemed to explode. They couldn't finish the song because they hurriedly turned down the volume so as not to get in trouble. Jake did wonder how Rio was able to hit those high notes and he himself couldn't...

[Okay. Good. Because a lot of people go around saying the like the song, because of rock band, but they've never played the game. And you just can't listen to the song without having played the game. It's wrong.]

Ayla got up relatively early, even by her standards. Walking the grounds, she felt at ease, something that she hadn't felt for some time. Knowing Kieran wouldn't have got up yet, she headed towards the gym. Noticing the basketballs, she pulled one from the racks and started bouncing it. After shooting a few hoops, and getting the majority in, she kind of hoped someone would walk in. When no-one did, Ayla sighed, putting the ball back. Heading back to her room to get changed ready for classes, she bumped into someone she didn't recognize. "Sorry!" she blurted out, only to see a gentleman turn towards her.

[[Since no one's responded to this, I'll guess I'll go... Sorry about that, Ayla.]]

The Headmaster strode the halls of his grand school as he had the first day. His smile lit up the room, and he was sure to try to greet every one he came across with a quick wave. However, as a crowd passed by, he was distracted enough to run into Ayla. He turned around and was quick to apologize.

"Oh dear, the fault is all mine. My deepest apologies, Miss Cailbrea," he said before giving a small bow with his hand on his chest. "If you are not in any rush, may I inquire as to how your classes have been?" he asked, restoring his smile from the solemn expression he gained while apologizing.

Ayla had not noticed the Headmaster until she had ran into him. When he has asked about her classes, she wondered how to put it plainly.

"Well, recently I have been the only one in class, and Mr Gregorovich has taught me much. I still hope there will be more than just me today in class though, getting a bit boring on my own all the time," she replied.

Glancing quickly at her watch, and noticing there wasn't much time before classes, she hoped the Headmaster would let her go get changed before class.

((Thank you Mr E!))
