"I'm not complaining about anything!" Baylor retorted. He stuck out his tongue at her.

Grae apparently couldn't get away fast enough, it's was too bad that these people would have to deal with his problem somehow... A huge lizard-like beast broke into the clearing bearing down on Grae, but slammed it's head into nothing but the ground when he jumped out of the way. Unfortunately it's tail managed to smack him through a tree and across perhaps 20 yards of land before friction finally stopped his progress.

Teardrop glared at Baylor for a moment, then she looked in surprise at the creature that had attacked Grae. She quickly forced herself off the ground and unsheathed her sword. "Looks like i am gonna get my fight," she said to herself. She didn't know it had attacked him, she thought he had turned into it.

"Huh? What the heck is that thing?!" Baylor asked Tear as he sprouted out his wings. Baylor then drew his sword, ready for combat.

Ignoring Baylor, Teardrop ran toward it and cut a deep gash in its side and jumped back down next to Baaylor to avoid its teeth, which were trying to bite her. "Crap. I missed." She blinked several times and growled, looking down at her bloodied sword.

Baylor flipped around his sword and lined it up with the back of his arm. He held it with the bottom of his hand, lining the blunt edge with his straightened out arm. He then ran at the creature and lept into the air above it. With one, swift move, he brought his arm diagonally with his sword along his fore arm, and slashed then beast across the face. Hope that at least did a little damage.

The beast had a huge gash across its face and was bleeding badly, backing up and making an awful lot of noise. Teardrop glared and crossed her arms. "I could do better than that." Odd, she thought, it's not fighting back. She jumped up into the trees and ignored her previous thought as she came down, stood on the flat edge of her sword, and rode it down its long back. The sharp blade lodged itself in the creature's thick skin, but gravity and Tear's weight combined forced the sword down its back, making an almost perfectly straight cut.

"Woah! Nice job Tear!" Baylor shouted from behind her. He then ran up to them, but instead of congradulating Tear and her attack, he ran past her and lept onto the monster, near it's wounds. He then shifted through his backpack. "Lets see... weird egg... paper... aha!" Baylor pulled out a jar of strange, purple liquid and a bunch of bandages.

Teardrop jumped down off the now unconscience creature (although she knew it was still breathing), pulled her sword out, sticking it in the ground and leaning on it proudly, her head held in the air, and watched Baylor run past. She was going to finish it off in a minute, she thought. She blinked as he pulled out the bandages. "What the heck do you think you're doing!?! This guy coulda killed us, and you're gonna bandage it up! Baylor, you're an idiot, but not this big an idiot!" The moon had risen high in the sky and shone on her surprised face, which was covered in splotches of blood.

"Couldn't you see that it wasn't attacking back? It wasn't trying to hurt us. It was defending itself. It was just confused is all. Besides, it's not really fair if your opponent is at a disadvantage." Baylor said as he smiled at Tear. He then dripped a few drops of the purple liquid onto the bandages. Then he started bandaging up the creature carefully, making sure not to miss a spot of injury. "And besides, if he was really attacking us, it's not his fault. That's just what predators do. you would do it if you were a predator." Baylor said at Tear kindly. Baylor then patted the monster on the bandaged spots and on the head, then jumped off.

Teardrop growled at Baylor, then crossed her arms and stuck her nose in ther air. "Fair, shmare! Something as ugly as that thing is deserves to die. And for your information, i am a predator, and you're lucky you're not on the menu!" She glared at him and then at the lizard thing.

"Mabye this lizard thinks you're ugly..." Baylor snapped. He then muttered to himself, "It wouldn't be the first thing to think that..."Baylor then looked back up at her. "If you hate me so much, why am I not on the menu? Am I too much for you?" Baylor taunted jokingly.

Tear dropped her sword and jumped on Baylor, wrapping her tail with needle sharp hairs around him as tightly as she could, and pulled his face close to hers. "Maybe something as ugly as you doesn't look so appetizing! If i wanted to, i could easily rip you to pieces," she threatened. She suddenly shook him. "And who thinks i'm ugly!?! scream "

"AAAH! Calm down!!! I was only joking!!!!! I didn't mean anything by it!!!" Baylor said as Teardrop shook him. He then realized how exactly close he was to her face. "Umm... could you back up a little bit?" Baylor said with a little bit of a blush.

Teardrop stopped shaking him, tilting her head to the side. She didn't move for a moment, then set him down, sitting cross-legged in front of him and twitched her ears as she turned her head. "Sorry," she mumbled without realy realizing it.
