(Yup, who didn't see that one coming?)
Billy walked from his station at HH's bench and his nerves were there for everyone to see, but a few seats down from Teddy' Billy's family stood up and started cheering and applauding, as did a handful of other kids.
He turned briefly to look up into the stands and smiled -- and stumbled on his way to the dueling stage opposite Lyn, a rather dangerous looking young girl.

*The thief tosses the pannie at Chris who lets a high pitch yell and scrambles from the room. He had to get away before he gave in! He was weak! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!
The thief laughed as Chris fled the house through the open window. She scooped up all over the wonderful pannies and stuck them in a sack she brought. Next, she uncapped a can of spray paint and left a message for Diana. A calling card and a warning to all the teachers on campus.

Hartley put his hands in his lap and tried to focus on the match. Billy looked more confident out there and less like...well, the school Spaz.
Hell, maybe Hartley was the school spaz now. He couldn't tell.

In the initial stage of the duel, both students had to give a display of their magic for the spectators.
Lyn threw her hands up and a cloud of darkness encircled the sky above the two teens and it formed into a large bat..type...thing. It stretched its wings and screeched as it flew about the stadium until it landed atop the field goal posts and vanished in a cloud of dark mists.
Billy swallowed hard and closed his eyes, and he held his hands out in front of him. In his palms blue orbs of magical energy formed and after "rolling them together into a single, larger orb, and he threw it up into the sky and it exploded and formed a large and colorful rainbow over the entire stadium, then it started to evaporate into a shower of Skittles.

Cassie puts out her hand catching some Skittles. She looks at them curiously and then tries eating one.
" Skittles? Yummy!"
Cassie ate some of the colorful treats.
