Might be worth it. Won't help much against fire moves but it could help with neutral specials that switch in.
Edit Oh, is it technician? If so bug bite is great, my scyther had it and it did wonders. 3nodding

I don't know if you'd be interested but natures power works really well with technician. Give it an anti fire berry and it could use it to take out another scizor or protect it from a 4x hit. 3nodding
Edit If your only giving it 98 you could always splurge on some Zinc. 9 zinc and a few tentacool would be all you need.

oh you also have to do a wifi battle at lvl 100, and write down its stats and THEN you use that

I usually gauge it with the guy in the Battle Tower and then use Serebii's IV calculator for specifics if I like what he tells me.
