Ah well I'm not in the habit of reading in continuity Batman because it tends to... suck. I plan to read the Dini and Morrison issues though.
If you plan on reading the Morrison issues, you might want to know
the "Batman and Son" title may be misleading. Bruce is adopting Tim.

So, I picked up an issue of Uncanny X-Men, after a hiatus of, oh, about ten years. So, James Proudstar is alive, Professor X is walking, Marvel Girl (who?) has the Phoenix powers (maybe?), Scott hates Xavier, and Scott and Alex have another brother with the lame name of "Vulcan." What the heck is going on around here? eek

all you have to know is that vulcan is out for blood and marvel girl has a ressurection complex about her being alive but her "mother" being dead. everything else in the comic now is non-sensical bs and just isn't worth it. you're better off reading...oh...moon knight or shadowpact or even the spectre miniseries. but don't pay attention to x-men. the crap will just hurt your brain.

Let's do this in one.
Xavier got hit by House of M, lost his powers, got to walk. Proudstar no clue. Rachael Grey has has assumed the Marvel Girl title. Scott hates Xavier for lying all these years about the identity of his brother. His brother was used in a team when the X-Men were trapped by Krakoa and I missed some of the middle stuff of that.

What can you tell me about OYL Ivy?
Not much as she wasn't wanting to talk to Bats. She is way more powerful and probably a plant elemental. She took over a skyscraper with her powers. Batman asked her about how she became so powerful, and she said it was hell of a story.
