*Well, Thanatos had let him keep the lighter so prehaps he'd give him a chance. He would even talk to Mastema and Nana about letting him keep the lighter, so Thanatos wasn't all bad. He was just gone a lot of the time. perhaps Eecheb would ask him where he went when he left. Perhaps he'd learn of the dojo this way, as well as the "outside" world. Eecheb and the others had yet to get close enough to the barrier to see all the things outside, so perhaps if they talked a little too then his eyes would be "open". Being told he was "tough" was a slight ego boost, especially to one such as Eecheb, who was visually/physicaly the stronger of the three children*

*Seeing as Thanatos didn't really want to do anything else but walk with Eecheb, be seemed fine with Thanatos' presence. Perhaps after a few minutes they might actually talk. Eecheb starts off going north west this time as he steps away from the building slab. Maybe later Fenton would wake up too, and would have his first formal interaction with the child other than simply sniffing at him*

*Than couldn't help but laugh a little at Eecheb's second musical "hit." Already, his little brother and he were getting along rather well, and Eecheb was making Than feel at least a little better from his ordeal* ^^; I'll just stick to Eecheb then. *Than trotted lightly behind his brother, his eye half closed as he went*

*After about five minutes of walking, Eecheb turns a little to see Thanatos still following behind him. Being that he didn't get out all that often, Eecheb was curious about his surroundings. He just had to ask Thanatos a question or two, which was healthy for a child to do, and so he finally works up the courage to do so. The boy's wings flex lightly as he asks his question*
Eecheb: >_> .....Thanatos? Where do you go when you leave?

*Than heard his name called and looked over to Eecheb* Hmm? Where do I go? Hmm... *He thought for a moment. Of course there was one place that always came to mind..... even though he hadn't been there in a while* Well.... I go to a lot of different places. But there's one place I used to go to a lot. You remember I was telling you about how I lost my arm, about the friend I was helping at the time? I usually go to her home and sometimes stay for days at a time. *He smiled a little* It really is a nice place to go..... I just feel, well, happy when I'm there. I think it may be more from my friend's company though. *He chuckled* But I haven't been there in a long time....

*There were indeed other places that Thanatos went, and Eecheb wanted to know. Plus there were places close by that interested him too. Eecheb continues to question Thanatos, he was like a mini investigator. The lighter was again resting in Eecheb's left hand, his fingers wrapped around the lighter. It was quite large, and sat in Eecheb's hand funny but he didn't seem to mind at all*

Hmm.... well, there's a place called the Black Company dojo that I sometimes go to >> I definitely haven't been there in a long while, but my best friend does live there. It's an okay place. Near that there's a forest that's pretty quiet most of the time, and it gets burned a lot ._. Um.... those are actually all the places I can think of sweatdrop

*Eecheb points to the north, where the nearby mountain range lyes. To the north of the citadel were the mountains, to the east a forest, to the south a beautiful field, and to the west lye the dojo. The children had yet to get close enough to see the outside world throught the barrier, let alone close enough to see if they could get out*

Go where? >> *He followed Eecheb's finger, barely able to make out the mountains* Oh! The mountains? Hmm.... I don't remember ever going there, so I don't think so. From what I know there's not much of anything there. Just lots and lots of rocks ^^;

*Eecheb back and looks up to Thanatos again. The citadel was mostly buildings, both crumbling and chrome covered. The only place where there might be any signs of nature like "rocks" would be in the peace*

Iie. *He blinked* That's my way of saying "no" ^^; *he looked around* I don't think there are any rocks in the citadel. Some of these buildings are made of concrete, which is like rock in a way, but it's not rock. *Than thought for a moment and decided to just ask Eecheb* You.... want to go outside of the citadel..... don't you....?

*Eecheb looks up in question. All he wanted to know, was where Thanatos went when he left. Now he was being asked himself if he wanted to go somewhere, but he didn't know anything of the outside world. The citadel was like a fish bowl, and those inside of it where the fish. Rarely straying away, staying safe within the barrier, but there was a world outside that barrier. Did Thanatos really think Eecheb wanted to leave?*

Well that's what you were just asking me about ^^; Even if we're outside, anything that's inside this barrier, *Than pointed to the glowing barrier to make sure Eecheb knew what it was* is inside the citadel. Outside the citadel are all the places I just told you about, the mountains, and a lot of other places too. Since you were asking me about where I went.... I just thought it might have been because you wanted to go out there too.

*Well, now Thanatos had sparked the boy's interest. Could he go outside, away from the citadel? If he did, then where? Maybe he could follow Thanatos to one of the places he was told about*
