That is such a relief to hear, Meri. ;O; *cling* So what caused it, then? Not enough calcium?

*clings fiercely* Apparently the bone thinning is mostly due to my severe vitamin D deficiency. The body needs vit-D to absorb calcium, and then caffeine tends to draw calcium out of your body, so between me not getting enough milk and sunlight and the large amounts of coffee I drink, I was trashing my bones. @_@
I gave up caffeine cold turkey about two weeks ago and I've been chugging milk like a calf. XD The doctor also put me on a crazy supplement for two months, after which he'll re-test my blood to see how I'm doing.

*stuffs you both with calcium and vitamin D supplements* Dairy isn't the only way to get these things, although vit-D fortified milk is a good 2-in-1. X3 You guys must learn from my example and stay healthy and strong! heart

Malee: *ahaha* I was hoping that the cream and whip in my coffee would balance things out, but alas...
Konami: Keep the pills by your toothbrush, perhaps? :3
Mmm...I want a salad...

Ni ni Konami~ heart
Kari: Oh cool. :3 Are there different levels/types of intolerance? I know some people who can have a little bit of dairy and they're okay, but if they overdo it they get dog sick. ^^; It's milk and cheese and yogurt and ice cream and everything...not just straight milk.
