hilaroma It seems this crisis is just beginning. Hiro's harddisk died this morning. So all of the data for three different group presentations (including one that I am working on with him and is due tomorrow) was completely lost. He's pretty upset and so am I....I don't know what I can do really. It's upsetting that I can't do anything to help. sad
You guys have no backed up data anywhere? And the HDD isn't reading at all?
In any case, explain to your teacher that you can't recover the data at all and plead for some kind of extension. Good luck. sweatdrop heart

Did you learn of it the easy way or hard way? sweatdrop Meaning, see it in a news article or get hit by it? Regardless, it was a really poor and ******** up way of Sony to do things.

If I'm correct, we have the legal right to make back-up copies for ourselves of our legally bought CDs. Therefore what Sony doing is illegal because it is revoking our right to make our copies.
