He didn't get a first name till the silver age.

GLKilowog I'm pretty sure Joker did that... Not sure if I trust it, but Wikipedia gives the ambiguous 'Spring 1940' for Joker, and 'May 1940' for Luthor. Huh, well whatever we don't have a Joker. But we got good ol' rich man McBaldy!

....original New Spring? You mean the novel as opposed to the comics? Father Blood Drench Robo Crush has read a few of the comics, but not many... the Trolloc design they had annoyed me no end. xp And yes, New Spring is one of the novels Father Blood Drench Robo Crush actually bought rather than got from the library.
