Catawa blinked slowly. "I have a soul, if that's what you mean to ask. The others don't though."
The tail swayed for a few moments more. "If I make it out of here with you, alive, do I have the choice to continue living?" She didn;t know this guy after all, he might give that deal straight as. "If you get me out of here, I'll kill the others."
"If that be good, then the deal is solid." She held a paw threw the bars, an offer to shake on it.
She blinked, her heart falling into her stomach. Her other tast...She hung her head. "Yes, sir."
There was a tap on Piper's shoulder. Long, razor sharp nails pulled back on a hand that seemed impossibly long and large. The elfish featrues were distinct, easily readable. Brown hair spilled down her naked back.
When Piper turned around at the tap, the elf pricked her neck with one of those nails, releasing a paralizing venom into her body. It would drop Piper, and the woman would pick her up, and disappear.

T'haen spun aroudn on Piper, and looked murderous...before glancing at the sword. then at the other drow.
"white hair, not black."
then back at Piper..then at the sword. then back at Piper.
"She wouldn't."
then back at the sword.
"You're so sure about that?"
then back at Piper...before the eyes went back to normal, and the blade went from blue to red again.
"thanks dear."
Before somethign took her. that got a damn near homicidal rage look. and the hell with Dimitri at the moment, he went after it to see if he could catch up.
Onyx growled lightly.
"You've no right to punish her for caring about her mother figure. just becuase you drow don't care about parenting doesn't mean others don't."

Tarathiel looked at Onyx, "She can care all she wants, but she still should not break the chain of command or abandon her post. Had she gone through the proper chain fo command, she could have been relieved of her duty and quite possibly be well on her way to her goal." The drow looked at Aella, "You are not to leave this ship unless escorted by someone with my specific permission. Someone is limited to Warhammer, Myself, Orko, Stoneshaper, Celeste, Elric, Sstrl, Aven or Tames." Tarathiel glared at her for a moment, "Do you think I am being unreasonable?"
Jarlaxle looked back and noticed that Malik was running the other way. Piper was missing, so he propbably chased after her. He looked about, For a moment, and then continued to walk down the path.

"Yes that's what I mean. A soul in a place where souls are lacking." He nodded and listened to her reterm thier deal they were making. He rubbed hand over the back of his split cheek, wiping oozing blood away. "Yes you get that choice Catawa. I will not backstab you if you do not me. Elvish word and honor resting upon that promise." Another not to her though, as she said she'd do the deed he didn't want to, that was her choice, so long as she didn't turn on him.
For a moment he stared at the paw, before reaching his own hand out and grasping it, in a sort of odd semi shake. "Upon solid deal and word then." And he worked the lock like he had his own, breaking it eventually and then helping ease the rusty door open. Hopefully he was in luck.
For a moment she was ready to run the other way...she'd been chased by Malik before, so she knew hwo fast he could run. Though some odd alter ego sword entity could be entirely murderous and hell she wasn't going to get caught now was she? Though oh the wonderful relief as Malik was allowed back into his own mind and body, connections that were muted down being nicely clear again. To Malik anyway. And she had been about to say something before she was tapped, and thenn turned, "Moth-and felt a p***k and something seemingly rush through her veins, dropping her. Look, bad just got worse for her.

The group Zahara was traveling with, would immediately notice her absense by the sounds of curses and screams echoing from the swarm, Zahara was not a happy camper. Her already drawn daggers immediately went to work, stabbing into the driders carting her off. Sadly there were far too many to actually do any damage worthy of getting her free. So thier means was carried out and she was carted off to a lonely deserted corridor in some unknown area of the castle. Randomly she was tossed, not gently either, against the wall and simultaniously the driders turned to face her, she could feel each and every of their beady little eyes tending her with thier gaze. Sheathing her daggers, glaring right back, she raised her hands filled them with fire and sent a raging wall of inferno straight towards them.

She looked at him with pleading eyes. "But...what about Meilikki!?"
She smiled a bit. "Who are you, by the way? I don't want to be calling you elf through this whole thing." He got the cell unlocked for her and she stepped out, taking a moment to look back on her cell mates, who were calling to her.
"I'll come back and free you all." That said, they quieted. Then a look to her new best freind. "This way." A little stifly, she walked off down the hall.
Piper was taken deep into the ruins, some far down that the Dragon's destruction couldn't even be heard anymore. She was thrown to a dusty floor in a place that held strange, scientific equipment. The elf-thing paced back and forth, waiting for it her to regain conciousness.
Thhe driders burned into small piles of ash, their numbers finally dwindling to a few dozen or so. Zahara had been carried pretty far, and found herself in an amphatheatre. It seemed like it was used as a gladitoral arean, used to fight some of the creatures that were made in the labs. At the moment, another Bode was chained into the middle.
Toharu shivered violently in Zahara's pocket, both amazed and firghtened out of her wits that she had not yet been killed.

"Kieran Silvercrest." Another look around before he gripped his blade tightly and then started off after Catawa, who seemed a little stiff. "That's not your body is it?" Or at least not all of it. Hey he had to ask this sort of thing...it was nice to know the things you traveled with. But weary as ever he let his eyes drift around as he followed.
First thing she noted as she groaned and blinked a few times, was that it was quiet. Almost completely quiet except for the sound of pacing feet on stone flooring. The next thing she noted as she pushed up on her hands a little was the odd equipment around her. A look down to her hand which was painfully still clutched to her bow. Good thing on that...though close quarters and bows meant nothing. And she swallowed hard as she let her eyes drift to a sigh she didn't want to see.

Immediately the drow's senses were awakened when she gave a quick glance at her new surroundings now that the threat was all but diminished. One more blast of fire could easily take care of the other dozen or so. Raising her hands to send the blast, she squinted for a moment, why who knew since she could see perfectly well, and saw...Bode. Confused for a moment she studied the girl, Malik's words echoing in her mind. The other Bode had a scary internal organ keeping problem, had been taken care of relatively quickly by and arrow from Piper. SHe had a whip, and twin daggers. But was this the real Bode? Her eyes narrowed and she called out a test question. "Bode! I'm so glad to find you here! I've been attempting to make that pie, but I'm missing a key ingrediant. You shoved something in there that started with....an 'r' I think. What was it?" If Bode answered correctly, it was Bode, if not decimation would occur.

Tarathiel turned his face towards her, "Dimitri walked through my fortress without tipping off the guards or the automated defenses. Do you really think that if we resque her, he would not do so again?" The drow shrugged. "Besides, I told Malik several weeks ago that she was taken. I am sur-" Tarathiel turned his head towards the vah, "He certainly is useless unless you pull his leash. He's probably still sitting at home, slipping tea chatting with his she-elf pretending that he gives a damn about the universe." The drow walked to teh edge of the ship, and through several hand gestures 'summoned' Orko. "Where is the Oracle?"
"Currently. a bottomless pit of despair. The General gathered some pawns and went to go resque her."
"Oh. Did he say why?"
"Nope." THe wizard shruged. "Anything else?"
"No, go back to whatever it was you were doing for me." The Captain replied. "Oh, Have Sstrl come join this ship, and Rydia."
"Thinning out the lines, eh Captain?"
"Securing the Pawn more likely." Orko vanished. Tarathiel turned and looked at Aella, "If Dimitri survives this resque, he'll probably just take her back again. THere will be nothing that we can do to stop him, almost nothing."
Meanwhile, in the dep dark hole in the ground tha made up Dimitri's layer's basement, Jarlaxle grew impatient, and was hurrily drooping down floor with great haste, now that he was alone. He soon reached what he knew to be the bottom level, or at least, in this section of the basement was the bottom level. Now all he had to do was find some auras and use his magical resistance to track them. At the very least, he could expect to find something down here.

He turned to face her, and she slapped him. "That gives you no right to abondon her!" Her voice trembled. "What is she to you? You treat her like she's dog flesh, Tarathiel." She didn't wait for an answer to that. She would accept a reprimand later. For now, she would use the staff to take her up the crows nest.
The face turned again, those big doe eyes looking at Zahara. Nothing overly frightening about this one. Little fawn horns peaked out from her forehead, her eyes a deep, rich brown, little hooves clacked agaisnt the floor. She tilted her head at the noise, but otherwise didn't speak.
On the otherside of the amphitheatre, a cage held starving wolves. Who eyed the deer. A bell rang, and the wolves were set loose.
Catawa opened the door at the end of the hall, looking both ways before choosing one and walking down it. "It's not a body I'm used to, no." She didn't seem frightend of her surroundings as she walked on her hind legs, that odd bouncing in her step from the backwards knee.
Jarlaxle found the floor he was one was scattered with starnge statues, most of them humanoid in appearnce, but often in some kind of terrible pain. Other relics and tapistries also decorated this place.
Down there, the ceiling was tall for a reason. A giant claw swung downards at the drow, quiete even for it's emense size. A scorpian-like creature had layn silently waiting for it's pray to chance by. The enormoud claws move in synce with the arms that were attched to the torso that was fused to the front portion of the scorpian. Blond hair and half-elf features.

Out of habit, Kieran closed the door behind them, but draggged his blade across it to make a gash and mark it, he didn't fancy walking in circles. But followed none the less. "I figured as much...you look like my daughter mixed with a cheetah...do forgive me if I look at you odd sometimes. I fear for her right now." Seeing as if he had been picked off, who was to say no one else would? But he followed cautiously. Things seemed rather quiet and Catawa seemed to know where she was going. Hopefully this was a good thing.

Zahara waited impatiently for the child to answer her question then opened her mouth to demand, Bode comply with her wishes and then her eyes were drawn and took in the entire scene. Well that changed things a little bit now didn't it? That damn lich had cast the heroine, and it seemed he had set the scene prefectly. Small defenseless creature, hungry pack of wolves. Zahara sniffed, annoyed with the unoriginality and muttered a quick prayer to Eilisstre the shimmerin barrier bisecting the area, keeping herself and the doe like Bode behind it. She glanced at her a moment and then turned to watch in gleeful satisfaction as the wolves rushed forward, not noticing the irridecent barrier, consequently the sounds fo slams and yelps filled the ampetheater followed by the long howls of an animal meeting it's death as the barrier more or less shocked the life out of them upon impact. Hey it worked.

She almost paused. "You'r daughter?" Thinking back on who he had killed. "I'm sorry." But othwerise she shrugged. "Worrying is alright. This cheetah I am mixed with had cubs before. Her memories tell me that she worried about them too."
A look down another hall, a sniff, a turn in the opposite direction. "I will try to avoid the others."
Zahara didn't quite have it there. This wasn't a scene, this was feeding the pets. Bode, small and easy to manipulate, was used for many such things. The little doe sitting on the floor, she was either oblivious to this all or simply unable to express her fear.
She starred at Zahara, her hooves clacking as she stood. She took two steps, then the chain tripped her as it reached the end of it's length.
The elf distorted creature got down in it's knuckles, strentching out and brining her face close to Piper's. She sniffed there a moment, before reaching out and wrapping that large hand around the girls neck. Her jaw unhinged, and she pulled Piper towards her throat.

Kieran tugged at his clothing, not liking how blood was making them stick and dry to his skin. "It's a parent's job to worry about thier children." He stopped as she had, turning with her. Apparently she could sniff out the undead and others that were dangerous to them. Good thing indeed, Kieran was a bit on the sore side. "That would be best." So it seemed his knew friend was a soul transplanted into a body.
Eyes widened a split second before they squeezed shut at realization on what was happening she shoved her feet up under her so that she was crouching. Though being held by her throat or more pointedly her collar, the jerk made her feet slip out from under her. Soul sucking was not a pleasnt thing. One hand balled into a fist and came up, slamming knuckles into the things cheek, making it's head crack sickly to the side for a moment's time. She wished she had her recurve about right now, she'd jame the pointy end into this thing. Though with her bought time, she reached for her boot and subsequently her dagger, pulling it out and then shoving it up through the distorted elf's jaw, the end of the blade breaking through bone and tissue with the adrenaline fueled strength, the rip coming out straight up at the bridge of the creatures nose, of course spraying Piper's face with blood as well. The blade effectively pinned the jaw shut that way.

Tarathiel let Aella go, he didn't want to kill her, and she probably had a reason to be upset. Then again, she seeemed toforget their conversation so soon. The drow walked over to Celeste and ELric, he seemed unwavered by what just happened. "I know that you heard the entire conversation, so there is no point in me re-iterating anything. Aella has disapointed me with her lack of duty, so she is being punished. Normally, we flay dissidents, but she chose this life over any other. I hope you can keep an eye on her and dissway her from further actions that may lead to her demise." The drow looked back at where Aella was, "The just of what happend in the cabbin you can get from Aella."
Jaralxle looked at the creature that attacked him, and raised a brow. NOrmally he would expect to see a manscorpion this shallow in the dark, they enjoyed the higher temperatures of closer to the core and on planes closer to that of fire. THis creature's features looked vaguly familier, he noticed that the half-elf abord that elvish ship looked like this one, save for the obvious differences. He stepped back as another claw attacked him, an the creature began to walk on the wall, crawlingas though it was one with this environment. Its size left much in the way of vulnerabilities. In truth, the most difficult things to kill were halfling sized creatures. They had the benefits of begin short with small vital orgins, along with being large enough to avoid being killed by very crude means.
Another claw came at the drow general, who again dodged it with ease. The tail whipped accross infront of the creature and struck the possition where the drow had just been standing. He was no longer there, already moving with the flow of the creature's movements, narrowly dodgeing each attack, simply because they were too slow to hit him. The crature rushed at him, and tried to crush him with its underbelly, only to find him sitting on its back, where it rolled over to crush him again. Again, he appeared on its belly, which aggrivated the creatuer to no end. It made no sense how the drow was able to get from one side to the other with little more than a step. It attalked this time with all its legs and its claws in a vertually impossible to dodge combo. It figure that it should attack the whole area instead of just were the drow was, which of course was the right thing to do. Jarlaxle yawned, and was sitting on the creature's belly when it stopped flailing its attacks. IT then notice that there was a black hole just in front of the drow. That basterdly creature had avoided its attacks by going into that hole.
Jarlaxle raised a hand, were all of his finger were broken. HE looekd at the creature and shrugged. It flipped onto its legs, and tossed the drow at awall, where he stuck like glue. The creature roared and charged, slaming its whole body against the wall, causing a large crack to form in the suface of the wall. The creature roared and spat a strange goo out of its mouth, which covered tharea, and then ignited on fire. The creature knew that the tricky little thing could not have escaped that. A few moments later, the fires died, and the drow popped out of the wall, brushing himself off. THe manscorpion fumed at the sight of the insect. Jarlaxle tossed a dagger at the creature's face, and it lodged between the jaw and check bone. The creature did not care, and continued its rush.
The drow evaded the attack, seemingly to move either faster than the speed of light, or simply not existing there when the claw came across. He twirled something around a broken finger, and tossed another dagger, hitting the other side of the creature's face.
Again the creature jumped at the tiny creature, who once again appeared behind the gaint thing, on its back of all places. That damnable thing was impossible to hit. A link of blood appeared across the drow's face, which encouraged the creature. IT came again and again, using its body to try and crush the small thing, but like a cat chasing a fly, it seemed impossible to get the basterd cleanly.
The drow looked tired, or seemed to be losing energy. He was moving slower with each attack, and each dodge seemed to leave him almost as closse as he was before the attack. The creature reared with excitment, and felt the sting of five daggers in its chest. "Your plating has a flaw." It was an insectoid after all, an arachnid which wraped its body with its bones instead of its bones with its body. "Three more rounds, and you are finished." THe beast roared, and opened its maw to spray more of its lovely goo at the drow, but that goo didn't spray very far. The first two daggers had damaged the creature's ability to open its mouth as wide as it should to spray the goo the way it wanted to. Instead, it leaked down its chest, and ignited. The holes were the daggers had been allowed the good to flow inside its body, where there was no natural resistant to its flames. THe creauter roared in pain, and charged the drow who cahreged the creature.
The manscorpion fell upon Jarlaxle, flaming and heavily. The drow didn't seem to care, as the mass of fire and flesh fell upon him. At the very last moment, the drow used his want to create a force to kncok himself away from the beast, he skidded across the floor, scraping some of his skin off, but he avoided the mass of the creature. It lay still, burning and roting where it thougth the drow was a mere moment before. "You may have had more of a fighting chance, if I were any non-Dominain drow." The general laughed, "Good show."
Looking about the field, Jarlaxle checked for more enemies. His left hand was almost useless at this point. That was a costly fight.
