Theallpowerfull Kiron Albrithe I forgot about this website! :O I forgot about your face! OHH BURN! Bet 'chu won't hit 'em!!! Bet 'chu won't! I jsut got home from a Marilyn Manson and Slayer Concert... my first concert ever and it was ******** awesome~ I got a contact buzz from people smoking so much weed. But it passed over shortly. Even if you don't like Marilyn Manson, you'd say that concert was worth $50. 3nodding

Even if you don't like Marilyn Manson, you'd say that concert was worth $50. 3nodding I'd make some horribly snarky comment about seeing only 1 concert in your life at your age, but then I remember that I've only been to one concert in my life too and it wasn't even something huge like MM. It was Horrorpops, by the way. Loved it.

Of all the bands you mentioned Regina Spektor and MM are the only ones I recognize and enjoy.
Marilyn Manson does the Satanist stuff, not because he believes in it, but to shock people into reconsidering their position in life. One of the most intelligent mainstream artists out there imo, despite the fact that he tries to portray an image that makes him hated so much he's loved.
He seems to realize that all the stupid people will like his music whether it's good or not because it'll piss someone off... and then he does a few decent covers of other songs for the people who are there for the music.

Marilyn Manson is really, really smart. One of the most well articulated and has clear and basically non-offensive views on thing. His autobiography was really good. But would Lanzer want to join a guild that effectively worships HIMSELF?
