Hartley dragged himself to Blackhawk's. He needed atomic fries to distract himself from the crushing feeling that nothing short of a total lobotomy was going to help him.

Hmm... it's possible. It's more likely, though, that I'm awesome in bed, but they can't stand the constant references to 'riding the lightning.'

Yes, yes he could ride his disc. Why didn't more people ask to ride his disc? He extends a hand and pulls Wallace onboard. Not a ton of room for two, but it would work.
Hold on, dude.
It would be the smoothest ride of Wallace's week.

Hartley placed his order with Zinda, who grinned and shouted back to her chef. He sat down at the furthest seat at the counter and put his head down.

Maybe he should consider skipping on the check. That would have been appropriate, right?

A whole new worrrllllldddd! A dazzling place I never kneeeeewww-- oh.
The disc comes to a halt, hovering in place in front of Blackhawks. A question left lingering in the air. Was he Linda or Peabo? He had a cat named Peabo once. He was probably Peabo.

He landed outside Blackhawk's a small stir of dust swirling up as his feet touched down. His body shifted, reverting from the hulking green mass to the teenaged boy he often appeared to be. He opened the door and headed in, noticing a red head from the corner of his eye that he didn't really want to see right now, but ...it was too late to turn back without being ridiculously obvious. So instead, he'd go over.
"Hartley."
Not so much a greeting.
"Billy has a magic competition tonight. You should go since he wants to be your friend. It would be nice of you. I'll swing by your room and get you before it starts."
You will be going.
You will cheer for my boyfriend.
You will be cordial and nice.

Cassie was glad when Hartley said he would come to her house for Thanksgiving. It's the first year she ever felt like she had a big family... or much of a family at all for that matter. For the longest time it had been her and her mom. Unfortunately it seemed like no one on campus was happy with Chris.. Everyone kept telling her that he only messing with and playing with her heart. Cassie shook it off as nothing. She had a test coming up in chemistry and she sat in the library trying to study but Cassie couldn't concentrate. She closed her book and walked around campus. After a while she found herself going into Blackhawks...
" Hey Zinda.. I'll have a coke float and a BLT.."
She sat down by Teddy and Hartley.
"Hey guys! What's up?"

Wallace stepped down lightly off of Virgil's disc. It had been quite the ride. He took the boy's hand and helped him down, then gently kissed his cheek. Linking their arms together, he strolled into Blackhawk's. "Sorry if I rode too hard."
