You don't have to reset your custom skills if you choose not to; Although, it is given an option for those who wish to change in style/Bloodline.

Edit: The Scrolls, I just remembered about something.

Though I'm not 100% sure on this, When you make a Technique you can also Inscribe it into the hidden scroll for others to learn.

I think it's different from the original Scrolls from NFS, where it used to be anything the Kage made got put into the scroll, but it would make more sense just to be able to do so anyways.

Although, still having the monthly jutsu would make sense too, as it would be treated as a "Village Technique" and not a "Personal but useful technique"

Sorry I missed the question. Again Azien is correct but im going to give an official answer. The answer is, yes you can.

Basically it works like this, if a village has a Library and a player adds one of his custom skills to said village library. That jutsu scroll is there no matter what happens to the player. Rather he reset, quit, go inactive, die, w.e His jutsu is still there. This is more or less 50% of the entire point to using the library. If everyone in the village periodically adds custom jutsu to the village library, eventually that library will turn into some what of a memorial to that player. Even if that player was to die, his/her skills will always exist. (because they are technically guild items they can never be destroyed nor sold to an NPC).


To further eleborate the diff between Jutsu Scrolls and Village Scrolls.


Jutsu Scrolls are what normal players would use to add their jutsu to the library. The Village Scroll is the scroll that the Kage would put HIS custom skills on. The reason for this is. The village scroll is automatically updated with every jutsu that is currently in that villages Library. So, the village scroll has all of the villages Jutsu as well as the custom jutsu that the Kage makes. This is why the "Village Scroll" Is so important.

There is a third type of scroll known as "Forbidden Scrolls" But these have yet to be released, I will be throwing them out somewhere in a matter of time. The idea I have in mind is to have the Forbidden Scrolls have special effects on them that do not necessarily aid in battle. These scrolls could do things like remove death counts from players, steal blood line abilities, curse seals, all things that have large draw backs, so large in fact that they are considered Taboo to use.

Example being, you are trying to remove some deaths from a players death count. If you fail the check, you might end up increasing their death count or even your own.


This idea has not even be put in the mod section yet, its just something I was thinking about when I created the Jutsu Scrolls and Village Scrolls. I felt like since the guild was caleld Naruto The Forbidden Scrolls : 2 Redux. I figure we should have Forbidden Scrolls Amirite?
