From the way Luc was talking, she was sure he was going to shoot. When he didn't and instead gave his commands, Nari's face relaxed. "Yes, sir," she complied. She reached into her right pocket and grabbed her spare handcuffs*. 'Good thing I changed clothes,' she thought as she fidgeted with the cuffs to unlock them. She struggled for a second because her rod was still in her left hand; it was too risky to drop it with that stranger's weapon right there. Holding the unlocked cuffs and her rod together, she slipped between the guy and Luc to pry his sword-like thing out of his hands with her free one. That being done, she dropped her rod and said, "Hands behind your back," before stepping behind the guy and grabbing his left hand a little forcefully. She hissed when she touched it, but she didn't let go. Instead, she dug her nails into it. It was freezing; he must have been a vampire! She sped up the unpleasant process, biting her lip the entire time. Finally, she picked up her rod and slipped her cold hands under her armpits when she finished. She walked to Luc and whispered in his ear when she got close, "Should I knock him out?" somewhat hoping she could still get even with the pervert.

*(I'm assuming I have some handcuffs. Otherwise... xD)

Walking up the street, hips swaying, head bopping back and forth Charlotte made her way to her new home. She had left them once they had arrived, explaining that it might be best if she got something to fill her future room and all. In truth, she wasn't allowed to bring personal affects with her though it wouldn't do to tell them that. They might wonder why since it wasn't Kuro code. Once she had disappeared out of sight, she had called up a little help. Which explained the trolley she pushed filled with a simple sleeping mate, cover and two shopping bags stuffed filled with clothes. Even if most of it was handed to her, it had still been a dreadfully boring trip. Still it covered the basics at least, along with the shoulder bag she wore which carried her new laptop, cell phone and current mp3. Pushing the trolley up the front drive, she caught snatches that told her that was fun was or could be had. She wasn't alone out there. She listened, the trolley still.

For a breath she heard only the leaves of bushes and trees, the distant sound of the surface city of Durem. The shuffling of small critters beyond the night time shadows. A glance left gave her nothing, right however gave her the answers she sought. The shapes were a bit dim and the light of the not quite crescent moon did little to help given all the clouds that had rolled over it. She was certain of at least the number. Peering closer, trying to stay quiet she squinted. Then with speed she had felt drain from earlier she rushed her quiet wheeled trolley up to the front door, opened them and shoved her stuff off into a corner. She was not missing out on a chance to beat something up, especially after the torture of false shopping. A smirked spread to a smile as she jogged out the doors and back to the figures.

"What have we about here, might I ask?" she asked in a hushed voice as she neared nearly seeming to be skipping.

(SMALL TIME SKIP)

Nariana and Charlotte had managed to half-drag the pervert-- that was her name for the elf-vampire until she learned his real name later-- to the interrogation room on the basement floor. From the looks of it, no one had used it in a while. 'I don't know if I've ever seen a suspect interrogated here in the years that I've been a part of the gang, actually,' she thought a little suprirsed. She led Charlotte to a smaller room she knew was used for more private forms of interrogation. With a little burst of strength, the women lifted the pervert onto the table into a sitting position. Still being knocked out, he fell right onto his back. Secretly, she hoped that hurt a lot. The table looked really hard. "There," she huffed and continued, "Now, Charlotte, help me chain him to this wall behind the table before he wakes up," she instructed the newbie as she grabbed the dangling chain meant for the right arm and fastened it. "I wouldn't want him to escape and rampage around headquarters before I got to smack him around," she added and smirked. A little bit of revenge never hurt, especially since Luciano got to knock him out before she could do anything.

Well, that didn't last long at all.
After everyone went back inside, Waffle deemed that her 'patrol' was over. She left Nariana's room and went back to her own room to retire for the night. Not bothering to change clothes, she rolled under the covers and laid face-down on the bed. Even after weeks of being alone, she still felt strange having the entire bed to herself and being aware of nobody's breathing but her own. I wish Sabe wasn't such a little b***h and actually listened to anything I tell him. He could have been in this bed right now and not cryin' about a damn thing. He only had to do what I told him to do. Instead I have to go walk up to his sorry a** in the morning and apologize to him like it actually means something. Yeah, I'll give you my apology alright. She entertained some other thoughts before finally going to sleep after this long day.

Meanwhile, Sabe was partially awake from all the earlier commotion but was still close to falling asleep again. The paper sitting in front of him got crumpled and thrown away. He picked up the pen and put it back where it came from. The desk wasn't very comfortable to sleep at, so he got up, pushed the chair back in, and shuffled to the couch with the blanket wrapped around him (which he didn't question at all), and once he laid down he fell asleep almost instantly.

A shiny black Lincoln Continental pulled up in front of HQ. The windows where tinted a dark black making it almost impossible to see who the driver was. The engine cut off and the Underhill Siblings stepped out.
"Think they'll be pissed?" Louie muttered to his sister.
Rosemary took a moment to observe the mess that was HQ before answering her brother, "Judging from the state of this place...I'm not sure. They don't seem to have fared as well as the others though do they?"
Louie sighed, "s**t."
Rosemary clapped her brother on the back and steered him towards the front door. "Oh c'mon, lets see the extent of the damage."
She pushed open the door and together the Underhill siblings stepped inside, closing the door behind them.

Rosemary blinked in surprise. She wasn't expecting there to be any new members. She smiled at Charlotte and said, "Hello, my name is Rosemary and this is my younger brother Louie. Welcome to the Black Ops Charlotte."
Louie gave his sister an exasperated look, "Really Rose? Is it absolutely necessary to point out that I'm younger than you every single time you introduce me to someone?!"
Elbowing him in the side Rosemary said, "Stop being a baby and say hello!"
"Ow!" he glared at his sister and said something under his breath in elvish. Whatever it was made Rosemary's jaw drop and she made a move like she was going to elbow him again but seemed to think better of it.
"Oh! You're not worth it!" she crossed her arms and shifted her weight from one foot to the next. "Say hello and introduce yourself so I can get the hell away from you!"
He gave her one more look before turning to Charlotte, "Hello Charlotte, I'm Louie Underhill. Please excuse my sister, she hasn't had her medication today."
Rosemary stomped her feet, "Dammit Louie! Why do you always have to be such an arse?!"
"You started it," he shot back at her.
Rosemary started to argue back but instead she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to steady herself. "I'm done with this. We have a job to do and standing here acting like children isn't going to get us anywhere." She looked back at Charlotte and attempted an apologetic smile, "Sorry, we've been in the car together a little too long. What happened to HQ? Was it the vampires?"

Rosemary held a hand up and it took her several moments before she was able to choke out, "I'm sorry...did you just say there is an elf vampire somewhere here in HQ? That can't be right! There is no possible way one of our kind could become a blood swilling, morgue scented, sunblock caking, iron fiend!"
Louie nodded in agreement, "Yeah, besides isn't that some sort of taboo?"
"Now that I think about it...wasn't there a rumor several years ago of a dark elf made vampire running around Durem?" Rosemary said.
"I think we need to see this." Louie muttered darkly.
Rosemary sighed heavily. She didn't want to have to deal with anything new at the moment. All she wanted was to find Luciano or Skotti and give them their report and then take a long awaited shower. "It was nice meeting you Charlotte but you're right. We need to check in and I guess see if the big boys need any help with this...elf-pire. Where are they holding him?"
