How about The Day of The Locust? Anybody read that yet? That's the one we're reading now..I haven't opened it yet, though. rolleyes

Very few books catch my attention.From what I've gathered a book equates to a bunch of stupid assclowns talking about their life problems and its punctured with bits of "action" where just about nothing happens but it massively changes the plot of the rest of the story.As when I was a freshman In high-school we had to read this book called "Fever 1793" It was the biggest Sh*tfest that my sore eyes have ever stumbled upon. So pratically the plot is yellow fever goes around,kills people.But we dont get anyone that good stuff(I say that because death usually causes big jumps of action in a story.)We get this stupid teenage girl whos mom gets sick and they leave her with her grandpa.What happens from that point on? 175 pages of bs. See what I'm trying to say is books have absolutly nothing in them,No beef. So maybe If Edward wasnt such a fuking wuss and actually say...Did vampire stuff gonk It would be ,say, readable. But all you get is this illegitamate 800 page fukfest of boring sentimental bs. Books need to have something to them,which is why I read very few book.*1 every 3 months or so*
anyone who reads all this gets a cookie

That just means there's no hunting in the teen and romance aisle for you. I read Hannibal, Art of War, a book on Samurai..my most recent aquisistions are "A time to kill" and "Ninja". A time to kill does have assclowns in it, but it's intentional.

Four straight chapters of a dull book have ensures nothing sticks. Not my ecology notes, not my interest in finishing the book off, not even my motivation to stay awake. gonk

I think the paperback is killing me. T.T DUDE. I know exactly how you feel. The Day of the Locust is so boring. There are like three chapters in it that are nothing but scenery description and it just aggravates me. I'm more about dialogue and this book doesn't have enough of it. >[ @Akve: I hope you get something soon! biggrin I'm waiting for two books to arrive by mail, myself. I ordered them from Amazon.com on the 5th. I hope they get here soon. I need the Italian one badly.

Wedding this weekend..not mine, though I still have the slightest issue with not simply keeping this small. We haven't talked to these people in forever. Anyway, I'll be bugging her about facebook and may not be on Saturday evening. Gotta see if there's free wi-fi involved. smile
