Toby wrapped an arm around Maia's shoulders and walked with her, willing to be led where ever she would take him. he sipped his black tea and kissed her on the cheek.

Maia led Toby to the couch and dug into her bag. She took out the coloring page Alexander had colored for her and carefully unfolded it. "See? He made Peaches. I'm going to frame it later." So it stayed safe. She offered it to Toby and leaned against the back of the couch.

Toby smiled and took the page. Cute. Michael must have told him about Peaches.
"Hey, when you do, do you think we could grab a frame for Michael too? I'm sure he's going to keep his and we don't want any damage done to it."

"Yeah, I think he'd like that," Maia smiled at the suggestion. "I can get him a nice one." He'd obviously befriended Alexander. It'd be good to keep that memory alive. She took the coloring page and carefully folded it back up.
"Michael? What are you up to?"

There came no answer for a few moments, and then there sounded two hard knocks behind the couple's head.Not much, but he was here.
"Do you want me to splice the video to make it look like he's not sticking around?" Dari asked.
Toby nodded. "Sure. We don't want to scare them any more than we have to."
Loud knocking behind Dari, on nothing in particular. Dari just nodded.

Knocking? Michael probably wanted to be left alone, then. "He was probably more active with us," she said then. "Do you want to start packing up with me, Toby?"

"Definitely," Toby agreed. He shrugged then and nodded. Sure, there was nothing wrong with packing up early.
"Are you going to want to come to the reveal?" he asked Maia as he stood and headed for their things.

"Yeah, I'll come," Maia said. She stood and took his hand. "I'm glad we were able to help both parties," she added. "I was worried last night."

"Yeah, that was quite the show. You passed with flying colors too. I'll be sure to let them know," Toby said, "This was the worse Someone in a while. I'm glad he crossed over after all that." He released Maia's hand when they got to the room and knelt to begin packing their belongings. Dari had already taken down the cameras.

It was three days later when the group met the worried couple back at their house. Toby shook both hands and smiled when he entered, as well as pulling off his baseball cap for politeness' sake. It was only a part of his disguise anyway. Dari was carrying the equipment in a large bag. He had recovered over dinner three night previous from the whole 'monster' incident.
Ginny smiled, still looking like she hadn't slept in weeks, and shook Toby's hand and smiled back at Dari. She had her arms crossed still, defensive. "Can I get you something to drink?"
"Oh no, I'm fine," Dari said.
Toby waved a hand. "Nah, but feel free to grab something for yourself if you like! We still have to set up. Do you mind?" He gestured to the dining table.
"Oh no, by all means, go ahead," Ginny said and disappeared into the kitchen.

Maia greeted Henry with a small smile. He was watching as his wife went into the kitchen, a concerned expression on his face. "So...did you help the ghost?" he asked, in a lowered voice.
Maia was surprised by the question. But then, he'd been the one who'd said the boy had been looking for his mother in the first place. "I think so." She said.

"You think so..." Toby said with a laugh, looking over at Maia. He began helping Dari to set up the laptop and headphones and call up the proper files. 'We did our best, Sir. I do believe myself that you're not going to be having any trouble in the future. Have there been any incidents since you came back home?" He could play cocky just to reassure them.
Ginny came out with iced tea poured for everyone and gave the agents their glasses before taking a sip from her own.
"Oh. Thank you," Toby said.
Dari motioned to the chair beside him and smiled. "Please, sit down."

"No," Henry said, and smiled then. Maybe these people really did know what they we're doing. You saw so many on television. "Nothing. It's been nice."
Maia took her drink and smiled. "Thank you," she said.

"The haunting was mostly in the nursery, and that's actually where we got our first bit of activity," Dari began. He waited for the couple to sit and played a heavily edited clip of himself in the hallway. As they had had an actual picture of Alexander before the investigation he figured it was okay to show his face, and thus it was a small clip from when Dari had first met the boy in the hall outside the nursery.
"Is that the same boy you've been seeing?" Toby asked, as if it could possibly not be.

"That's him!" Henry said, staring at the screen. "That's him. So you saw him," he looked around at the agents. "What did you do?"
