Billy looked up at the accusing finger.
"And for the record, that was me. And there's a big dif. Yours is metal and metahuman. Mine is pure, Grade A sorcerery. So PTH!"
Billy stuck his tongue out at Virg and raspberried him.

Teddy wrapped his arms tight around Billy, kissing his neck once more. "Babe, after you win, I'll...do you one favor. Whatever you ask." Teddy arched an eyebrow, "Back massage...foot rub....I won't wear a shirt to bed..." Sure, a little sexy time wouldn't hurt. But the underlying message was there: Do not ask for sex, I want it to be special.
When Billy's parents approached, he wondered if he should still be holding Billy, or if he should let him go...or...what..."Hello..."

"See mom? I TOLD you Billy had a boyfriend!"
Billy's eyes narrowed at the boy pulling on his mom's sleeve and she waved the tot off.
"You hush." Mom smiled as she approached and Billy stood up. She promptly wrapped her oldest in a fierce, motherly hug.
"Mom ... what are you guys doing here?"
Billy's dad answered, putting his hand on Billy's shoulder.
"It's your first competition here at school Billy. You didn't think your family would miss it, did you?"
Billy looked helplessly over his mom's shoulder at Teddy and Wallace.

Mr. Kaplan cleared his throat but ushered his family through the gate. Billy looked back at Teddy over his mom's shoulder and smiled, giving him a wave.
