Ardie scratched her head in thought "You know I never actually asked any of them but I heared a couple of things, I heared that theres a medicine you can take to increase your resistence to the mist and I also heared a lot of them wear some form of gas mask" she informed him starting on her ice cream.

Amane slowly nodded her head giving Zadina a light poke "Sorry I kinda forgot you were a sage, I think it's because I don't think I have seen you do white magic... that might be a good thing since it means none of us have been that badly hurt to need it" she giggled accidentally flinging part of her brownie across the room.

Seph gave Itaka a thumbs up gulping down about a quarter of the contents in his flask "Thanks for that, I sort of ate it too fast. Just general stuff is under my bed, a couple of books and outfits I haven't worn in years and loot and catalogues. That sort of thing nothing too exciting" she answered handing the flask back using her tail to stroke his legs.

Alpha grinned standing back up "heh kids can be so cute when they aren't blowing up the school bus and the like. Anyway lets go play this game with Yenytai and co, it could be fun. I remember most of my kids when playing this game burned all the packaging off before the music could even stop"

Hebal meanwhile didn't here Mari and instead was singing to herself "I am sneaky weaky like a super snake about to strike" while she continued through the bushes. She waited for the others to catch up a bit before leaping foward inserting her spear into the back of the nearest mind flyers head.

Oassu chuckled "Come on Felina you know that only works on the last layer of wrapping and you can't tell when it is" he said patting Cid on his chest before passing the parcel.

Jenna smiled "Don't you want your own little kid rather than some unusual fiend? Not many places put them up for Adoption, though I don't know where Mari got Sophia and she more or less captured Ivy." she chuckled.

Itaka shrugged "You wouldn't have to be mean, could do something nice." he said finishing his noodles. "I just keep some weapons and money under mine but what sorta clothes do you hide under there?" he asked Seph.

Zadina stuck his tongue out at Amane "I did some this morning when I taught you that light spell" he said casting float on the brownie and bringing it back to them "Still I hope the night watch people are ok with all that mist" he said while Mari giggled "I thought it was a cute wee song" she said hugging Hebal.

Barbaros passed the parcel "Well your kids couldn't control their powers back then I'd imagine" he told Alpha watching the parcel.

The mindflayer spun in confusion as Mari leapt from the bush beheading one with a swift strike while Gil finished off the third one with a smooth doubleslash. "Good plan Hebal by the way what was that you were singing?" he asked while Mari giggled hugging HEbal

Felina grinned tickling Cid's ear "Hey I thought it would be worth a try, could be something really nice. Besides thats why you try doing that everytime the parcel comes around to you. I like this tune as well" she whispered giggling as Cid climbed up her back and passed the parcel back to Oassu for her.

Yenytai clapped her hands impressed by Cid's actions "Maybe Yenytai have kids. If Yenytai get too old and no kids then Yenytai adopt, maybe bunny wunnie like Ciddy. Does Jenna want to be mum too? Jenna could be great chocobo bum too" she complimented her reaching back to pet Boco's foot.

Satoshi groaned imagining the roughest airship ride she ould think of "Uhhh yeah you should probably store your weapons in a more fixed place. Theres a variety of flan up ahead somewhere by the way" she added pointing to a trail of slime on the ground.

Seph grinned moving forward after Satoshi "Sure you can use my bag to store stuff but you better ask for what you want to use before we head off somewhere. Might get separated" she told him feeling something cold under her foot for a moment "Eww I can't believe I stood in flan slime" she sighed spotting the flans up ahead sitting in the shade.

Alpha gave parcel a small shake then tossed it over a little disappointed the music didn't stop at him "Well actually... a lot of the other kids thought it was kinda cool because fires weren't that common. The older ones went to a school with loads of different types of demons, Psy went to a human school and Mu changed from a demon to a human school when she was a teenager."

Hebal let go of the group heading back into the trees "Aww whats on Gil's mind at the moment? It doesn't matter about the song but we can only wait around here a little longer because the group are a long way away. But I bet we can find something else on the way" she chirped optimistically.

Melanae sat back down creating a larger and brighter ball of light on her own finger "Hey your doing really super Amane considering how much you were struggling earlier this morning" she praised her with a high five.

Amane grinned happily dispelling the ball of light "Thanks you guys but Melanae is still way better at it than me. Has everyone just about finished their lunch? If so we can go out to the playground for a little before the bell rings again for afternoon class."

Oassu smiled "Go on Cid, open it" he told the rabbit "And thats pretty interesting you know the wee story behind the tune, I'm impressed" he said.

Jenna laughed "Sure if you could but you have other friends too" she said patting Yenytai on the head "You'll need to keep in touch with us all while we're away" she told the nymph.

Itaka frowned "You know we could just scoop some of this slime up rather than waste time with these flans...besides not one of them is weak against fire" he said noticing the flans turn around to see the source of the attack.

Barbaros glanced at Alpha "What kinda schooling did you get? And are human schools and demon schools that different?" he asked.

Gil nodded "I'm thinking it's getting dark, it'll soon be time to head back and move out" he said looking at the sky "Gets dark early in winter." he said.

Mari nodded "Zadina and Amane will be expecting us before long, still we do need at least one more trophy before we go what should we take from these mindflayers?" she asked

Zadina nodded "Yea we should go play a little you can show me some cool Viera games!" he said excitedly.

Felina laughed taking the parcel from Cid who was staring at it unsure of what he was expected to do with it "It's a well known song that usually gets played at the great autumn feast representing the change from summer to winter or something along those lines I didn't pay attention in music class" she told Oassu ripping the first wrapping paper layer off then handed it to him as Hayate started the music where he left off.

Yenytai frowned shaking her head a little at Jenna "but Yenytai no know a way to contact you friends when you gone away. Yenytai only gots one other friend. Yenytai's other friend is Milly magic pot. Milly shy and no like people much but really nice to Yenytai and gives out gifts"

Satoshi panted a little taking a large sip from her water bottle "Ok ok we'll keep moving back to the main camp. Still no need to criticise Itaka, any magic spell not of the same element is always more effective than any weapon you could use" she pointed out following them and pulling a face at the frozen flans while she passed.

Hebal smiled gulping down about a third of the flash "Oh yeah heh I forgot you needed some too and I don't think you want to wear a gas mask. Besides Gil most of the iron giants are elsewhere like in the direction the other group went in" she added handing the flask to Mari then prepared herself for the upcoming river crossing by practicing her strokes.

Seph linked her arm with Itaka's pulling him along a little faster "Yeah most warriers learn that kind of thing unless they have something else they can pull out of the bag like summoning or time magic or any other kind. We don't see all that many spellblades around either now that you mention it" she pondered dispelling stop once they were out of sight.

Alpha nodded making a note to listen into Yenytai and Jenna's conversation "Yeah I think it was going to that human school that started off her love of all the performing arts, always came home with a new script to learn for the school play. In our schools it was PE for at least 2 hours everyday, they only did one hour a week at Mu and Psy's newer school.

Amane frowned staring up at the clock on the wall "Oh yeah lunch time is going to be over really soon, they really don't give us enough time to eat and play" she complained pushing the school doors open and pulling her friends to the unoccupied swings. Ardie caughed settling down on the swing at the far end "This afternoon we are going to be outside so no need to finish playing early to get to class on time. I wonder if my seeds have grown a little yet" she wondered to herself. Melanae glanced at Ardie and Amane feeling a tiny bit of jealousy because of their lesson plan "You guys are so so lucky, this afternoon I have to read a big text book on the properties of fire"

Oassu smiled "Well we don't have to celebrate it if you want, but I at least want our kids to have it once you know" he said "It's a nice holiday but what other holiday's do you get?" he asked kissing Felina "I must say Giorno Di Amour was pretty fun and exciting" he said quietly.

Jenna giggled "Sure that would be nice to see her, is she a nice pot?" she asked frowning at the squirrel "Don't like Squirrels huh?" she asked.

Itaka laughed "Lava and Leviathan would be major over reactions, I'm still confused to how you can summon creatures like that without summoner training" he said squeezing Seph's behind and sighing as he nuzzled her happily.

Mari smiled drinking some of the medicine "There we go, that will do I think" she said handing it to Hebal "But do we really need to swim again? My fur just dried" she frowned looking at the river.

Gil laughed "Don't be such a baby Mari a little water won't do you know harm, you should consider yourself lucky to have that fur to keep you warm in the cold water" he said stopping so he and Enkidu could drink from the stream.

Barbaros frowned "Wish I got plays and stuff like that, by the time I was finishing school they were pretty much pressganging you into the army, it was all but short of conscription when....." he stopped as the parcel stopped at him "Mmmm...." he said unsure for a moment before opening it again to reveal another layer before passing it on.

Zadina sighed "Oh well" he said swinging happily "What will I do in class? I don't have a plant to work with" he asked the others.
