Malazar takes her hand and bows over it.

"Nay lass, the pleasure is mine."

He straightens and grins.

"So what is this I hear about a Masquerade?"

*Luana grins back at Malazar before answering,* It's the only annual party the McColn family still hosts, and by far the biggest. Back when my siblings were young, before I was even born, they decided that's what they wanted for their birthday party. It was so popular, my parents started doing it every year, even after they both moved out.

It's also one of the few parties that I was able to go to when I was little, so I've grown kind of attached to it. *Her smile fades a little* It almost didn't happen this year, though. This is number 21, and my brother moved out over ten years ago, so they said if I wanted it, I had to take care of the arrangements. It's supposed to start tomorrow night, but with the way parties go at my house, *her smile returns* there's no telling when or how it will end.

Of course, everybody comes in costume.

As Luana speaks, Malazar begins to grin widely.

"A huge party with no end in sight you say? Oh, that does sound fun... You must tell me more, like for instance, what is a costume?"

Mal sounds interested, even if his questions seem odd. He motions for Luana to go on as the new person fades in. Malazar turns and wanders over, crouching to inspect the uniform before he taps the person's shoulder.

"Ello?"

No.... ******** school..... Dun wanna go.....

Malazar blinks.

"BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Malazar roars with laughter, rocking back on his heels.

"Ain't that the truth! If she thinks going is bad, she should try teaching."

Mal wipes at his eyes.

"Oh, is right lass. Welcome to the Brink."

::Lilly fades in running away from something, her hands over her chest, wearing her usual clothing of leaves, revealing her slim belly, before she can notice that she has faded into the brink she smacks right into a wall and falls over. She lets out a gasp as she hits the floor::

::Lilly looks up,feeling some sort of emotion but she isn't sure yet. It isn't embarrasment, as she isn't too modest, and it isn't quite fear either, as who she was running from isn't here. She takes a deep breath and tries to shake it away. She looks up at Maggie:

Oh, y-yes. Sorry if I startled you..
