Trigram Attic "Okay, let's just get going then~" Tails sang, and led the way to the door. He knew Tristen would have a hard time helping himself up, but the boy knew what he was getting himself into when he pushed himself like this. "Really though, I'm just playing about you making me look lazy. My specialty is playing with fire anyway." Tristen trudged off out of the training room after Tails, following him off to the nearest tub. "I know. You do real good at it, better than I use electricity..." He said. "I'm trying to do better, though."

"Don't worry," said Tails. Once in the bathroom he drew the bath and watched the tub. He knew Tristen would be awhile before he arrived. "I'll just work hard enough that you won't catch up to me -there-. And then I'm still recovering from that thing I did...don't free all your energy at once unless you have to, okay?"

"I think I already did that..." Tristen said as he made his way in and started to take off his vest, which already was a great burden off of him. While it wasn't heavy as opposed to his teachers, but it still was awfully heavy, especially in his tired state. His shirt came next. "Thank you, Tails..." Tristen said to him.

"Noooo," said Tails, and shook his head. "You'll know when you have. When you can't move for anything and you know you'll let yourself drown if someone doesn't help you up. When you've already burnt off all your clothes."

"Well, I only took a safe risk," said Tails, and he stuck his hands into the bath to warm it. He didn't need to, but this was practice. "There were enough people around that I was -pretty- sure I'd be okay."

"It's not something that you want to do if you could help it."

"Right," said Tails. Once the bath began to steam, he began to draw the heat back through his arms. Some heat was lost in this process but this, too, was practice. "And even then, you don't want to try to keep doing that for the team even when you're safe because you'll never get stronger. It's been a few weeks now and, well, I'm still not my old self."

Tails shook his head as though it were nothing to worry about. "I can't keep up when I'm trying to recover like this. I'll get better. Besides, it was really important, and we'd have lost a meteorite to a Weavile if I didn't do what I did."

Apparently Tails was, in fact, working hard for everyone. "I should have been there, too..."

Though Tails said nothing of it, had Tristen tested the water it would be too chilly for comfort. "If I remember right, you were still recovering from your trip with Blizz," he said. "Right?"

"Right?" "Kinda..." He said. "It was more from what happened than what I did...it bothered me. A lot. Horus...Cobalion...the wild Pokemon...it was a lot. I probably should have listened to Blizz when he said that he didn't think I would be ready for it, but...I didn't. And I want to think now that it was worth it, despite all of that. I think I got stronger, at least a little, from it...and I got another Pokemon from it to help me like Natu and Castform does." he said.

Several more minutes passed and the bath was again simmering, just barely steaming, and Tails pulled away from the tub. "Maybe we should try to do something like that, huh? Just me, you, and our Pokemon."
He went to the mirror, held his hands before it to watch the water steam off and against its surface. "Besides, if I ever want to keep you around for a few centuries, I gotta get on my game."

Just me, you, and our Pokemon." He went to the mirror, held his hands before it to watch the water steam off and against its surface. "Besides, if I ever want to keep you around for a few centuries, I gotta get on my game." It took a minute for what Tails said to register, namely about staying around for CENTURIES. Tristen knew that he'd at best probably only last for one if he is absolutely lucky to the extreme, but for several? He'd best not say anything, he figured. Tails did raise a point though. There's probably more that Tristen could do...in fact, what he was implying was something similar to what he sees his teacher do. Not often mind, but sometimes. "Maybe. Is the bath ready yet?" he asked. He could feel the heat coming off of the water. This ought to be good...
