@ele: About the buildings, it says tat a Missing Nin or a Kage can make buildings. Can an industrious non-kage village-ninja buy land/properties as well?

@aizen: No offense, but I think I'll wait for ele's input on this. He made this stuff, and it says 'kage' a lot. If your village doesn't have a kage, I'd like to know whether or not I can make my own in the mean time.

Azien you are correct and thanks for your input. First off I want to say this before I give an official answer. Though there was no harm done, realize that if you ask a question in the OOC then you are not asking a mod, you are asking the community, and as such if someone from the community answers its sort of rude to say "Well Ill just wait for a mod/ I dont trust your answer" If you have a question that you seek a mod to answer, then you need to contact a mod directly. Though in this case there was no harm done, I just wanted to make that clear for the future.


Back on topic.

The reason why in the thread it says Kage/ Missing Nin all the time is because these are the official unchanged rules. As in the rules that will remain existent in all cases. However, because we understand that there is literally no player Kages. I added to the announcement that players can donate ryo on the behalf of the village and get that building made as long as there is no player kage in their village. Now, because it was only in the announcement thread, I dont have to confuse people in two or three months that DO have player kages.



Also, please understand that when I say Missing Nin, I dont actually mean any Missing Nin. I mean a Missing Nin that has claimed neutral territory. For example: Sorain resides in the travel thread between Lightning and Fire. If he met the requirements and claimed the area he would be considered its "Leader" Granted, Sorain could call himself a Kage should he choose it, but offically he is simply the controller of a set of land that is not directly controlled by another village. After he has claimed this land, he and only he me create buildings there (although people my donate Ryo to him directly).

By this it is "possible" to create your own village from the ground up, it is just much more difficult. Reason being, once a player becomes a Kage of a village, that village will begin to receive monthly Ryo. Meanwhile cerated village would not.

More likely than not, later on down the road there will be events/ ways to make ones created village/hide out recognized. To do this things such as, gaining entrance to the Chunin Exams (Which would require a vote by the other player Kages), becoming allies with another village, etc.

I was kinda hoping that you could, in a sense, run a privately owned 'industry' of bought buildings or something.

I read over some of the different buildings you can make, and I had a thought:

What if there were buildings that gave you a weekly ryo revenue. For instance, right now, Toll only applies to players entering and leaving the country, but what if you got, say 5% of the building's initial worth every week in NPC travels.

You could also make buildings that are like Tourism Locations, such as Restaurants or Museums that strictly make money for the village/owner.

I think it would be a neat addition to what is already in place.
