Twi had gone out to see a friend of his... a Werewolf who wa sthe Alpha of his Pack. the Red Fang Pack was one of the slowest to join the Von Helson's cause, but to Twi this meant good things. their Alpha was a wise and deliberate leader. if anyone knew what to do in a situation like this, he would.
finding them was not easy. it would have to be difficult, but Twi had one advantage -- he wore the symbol of a Friend to the Pack. it was always they who found intruders before intruders found them, and unless they carried the Symbol they would be attacked.
when Twi was led to the Alpha, Greycoat, he bowed respectfully in his presence.
"Alpha Greycoat, it is a pleasure to meet with you again."
"indeed, Twilight. what troubles you?"
Twi grunted before answering, turning his head away in shame and staying bowed.
"my friends who remain loyal to the Don of the Kuro Gang." he explained. "I cannot bring myself to betray them completely, though I am forced to fight against them to fight for my goals. it breaks my unbeating heart."
at the reminder of his unnatural existence, many of the Werewolves shuddered or growled uneasily. but Greycoat silenced them.
"it is always painful to fight against those you love. especially when you do so out of love and a desire to protect them. you must choose what is most important to you."
"but Alpha Greycoat, if I do not stop the Kuros they will destroy everything! and yet, the others refuse to believe it! I feel that I will lose them no matter what I do."
"then you must not falter in your commitments! you cannot succeed with half-measures. you cannot make decisions for others, and so you must be true to your own cause. be strong, my Friend."
Twi hung his head, and a cold tear fell down his face. in a low voice he thanked the Alpha and told him he understood. he had to leave then, so he began to walked back to his home. several Werewolves guided him out of their territory.

The chains wrapped all around Waffle chafed her skin, and everything smelled like iron. Her back hurt from the hard table, and she was tormented by constant itches in random spots. The ceiling seemed to blend in with the tops of the walls with help from the darkness. Her mind wandered to reviewing who and what got her in the chains in the first place.
That goddamned bird guy. Does not know how to mind his own business whatsoever. 'How may I interfere with you today?' 'I clearly know all that's right; you're always wrong' He'll listen to the first cry for help no matter how undeserved it is. 'I MUST save the day by barging in!' No. ******** off. My room is MY room, and my business is ******** you too. 'Johnnnny, saaaave meee~' 'Luciano, help me~ I'm completely ******** worthless and a load on the team but pleeeeaaase? You're my best friend...only friend...I'll even conveniently forget the fact you almost beat me to death' 'Aren't I so cute when I'm almost dead and screaming like my best friend just died in front of my eyes, even though I'm too old for this s**t?' 'Hey Waffle I'll just walk into your room and use your shower and get blood everywhere even though you clearly don't want to deal with me right now! If you do something about it, you'll regret it!' 'Don't I just look vulnerable today? How about I just stand here and quietly cower at you instead of reaching out and smacking you one so I can get my stuff and leave?'
But then the thoughts went on a tangent. 'Don't mind the spooning and the grabby hands at night; it's just cuddling and not me being a freak who's mad he can't get any!' 'Why aren't you more like that manlady Tracy or that shut-in Lucy?' 'You should treat me as an equal even though I'm nowhere near as powerful as you' 'You should find me attractive and love me even though I'm an ugly scrawny loser with a bent nose, a crooked front tooth, tiny d**k, absolutely no fashion sense, and more wrinkles on my face than the average ballsack' 'You're always a b***h even though you clearly showed you cared about my life multiple times and never purposefully left me to die.'
They wound her temper up like a clockwork doll. Eventually no new thoughts came up, so she stewed in rage at the 'attacks' on her. She wanted to bust up the chains and beat people with them. She wanted Sabe to choke on his own spit, and Johnny to be clipped of his wings and sent straight to hell. She didn't have any specific ideas for Luciano or anybody else she thought of, but she hated them too.
However her internal tantrum was interrupted by a sudden familiar oozing sensation. She flailed in the chains and made soft angry whining noises as she tried to not to now growl and scream. <******** you Johnny. As soon as I'm out of here, you're dead.

Luciano was so annoyed with the evening that he just wanted to take a shower and turn in early. He went into his room and prepared to undress when he could hear some disturbing sounds coming from his bathroom. Luciano raised his eyebrow and knocked on the door, "Hello?" He said. . He slowly began to realize that it was Sabe in there. Luciano kept his brow raised and he asked, "Sabe?. . Are you alright in there?" Meanwhile,All the way across town in a Mansion belonging to the well-known Aristocratic family, The The Croziers, sat the Adopted daughter to Drew Crozier in the Library. Twenty-two year old Beverly sat on the floor quietly reading a book. She was five feet and ten inches tall and she had dark shoulder length hair. After every page she finished reading she would slowly turn the page using her index finger and start reading the new one. She would smile at every comical scene, she would frown when the antagonist would appear. She didn't know how long she was there, just that she was lost in the book, when a familiar voice could be heard in the doorway, " Miss Beverly. . The Mint tea and Chocolate-filled croissant that you asked for. . I've brought it for you. ." Beverly smiled, she turned towards the doorway to see a tall man, six feet and five inches tall, broad-shouldered, with dark hair standing there holding a tray. He made his way over to her and slowly knelt down to give her the tea and chocolate-filled croissant. " Andrew," She said softly, " . . You know I didn't ask for this. ." Andrew replied, " So?. . Let a man be thoughtful. ." Beverly smiled and reached for the tea cup, but Andrew gently took her hand and kissed it softly. Beverly blushed and she said, " Andrew, someone may walk in and see this. ." Andrew slowly took his lips off of her hand and looked up at her, " All they will see is a simple servant tending to his superior. . For all they'll know, you asked for the kiss on the hand." Beverly giggled. She looked around and then cupped Andrew's face in her hands and pulled him into a kiss, " . . You missed me?" " Like crazy. ." " Tell me?. . Tell me you missed me?" Andrew looked around and then he leaned in and whispered into Beverly's ear, " . . I missed you like crazy, Beverly. ." Beverly closed her eyes and smiled. Just then there was a loud knock at the door, and Andrew pulled away. He stood up just as the door opened, into the library Drew stepped in, " Bev! Where are your sisters?- Tonight I'm taking you three out to dinner!" Beverly smiled up at her Lover as Drew Waltzed towards her explaining all of the details of tonight's outing. Beverly slowly got to her feet and listened to her Adoptive Father talk, but looked over to Andrew who lip synced to her, " I'll see you later. . At our usual time. ." And then took his leave. Beverly bit her lower lip and smiled, then gave her Father her undivided attention.

Sabe waited until it stopped and he started feeling better before he got up. He flushed the toilet then carefully walked to the sink to splash some cold water onto his face. Afterward he dried his hands and face off and opened the door. He was white as paste, except for a pinkish-purple tinge around his puffy irritated eyes and an almost-gone blush from earlier.
Instead of running into Luciano's arms to cry into his shoulder as he would usually do, Sabe slid by and looked for a pen and some scrap paper. His gait was still wobbly and he often had one hand on nearby furniture for support. The pen and paper were both easy finds, as the nearby desk and wastebasket full of crumpled old notes had both of what he wanted.
Sabe sat down and dug around in the wastebasket for crumpled paper that didn't have as much writing on it He smoothed it out as best as he could, and flipped it to the mostly empty side. Then he attempted to write what he wanted to say, but it was completely illegible. He rubbed the side of his face in contempt and tried drawing instead. Sabe got done with two thirds of it before he stopped and stared at the crude drawing before passing out at the desk.
There was a large bean-shaped blob with a mass of scribbled lines sticking out both sides. Next to it was another blob, haloed but with additional cliched horns and pitchfork, minus the fork. A stick, really. But there was no indication of where the stick went, as he stopped drawing by then.

Upon entering her room, the first thing Nari did was lock the door. She didn't want company, and she definitely didn't want anyone to see her undress. Next, she slipped off her rags, what was left of her blouse and leggings, and kicked off her muddy shoes. As she slowly walked across the room to her closet, she pulled out her rod from her bosom, unlocked the closet, and put it away. Sighing, she thought about the "fun" she had with it and wondered when she would get to use it again. 'I really should practice more, at least,' she told herself before closing the closet. She walked to her dresser and pulled out clean clothes-- underwear, a tank top, and dark skinny jeans. Then she went to her bathroom, closed the door behind her, and let the bathtub water run for a minute. Putting her clothes in a neat pile on the floor, she undressed fully and stepped into the tub. She turned the shower on, closed the curtain, and let her hair soak in the warm water spouting above her head. "Ahhhhh, this feels great!" she said to no one. She bathed for a good half hour. When she was finished, she stepped out to dry off, got dressed, and brushed her teeth. 'Might as well clean everything, right?' Finished and feeling satisfied, she ran and leaped onto her bed with a loud thud.

Luciano did his best to decipher Sabe's drawing, but since it was so bad he couldn't understand it, "Are. . . Are you trying to tell me something?" Luciano knew that his own artwork was no work of art, but Sabe's drawing wasn't, either. Nonetheless, he kept trying to decipher it the best he could.

The pen rolled out of Sabe's weak grip and rested between his fingers and the desk. It seemed as he didn't want to finish drawing out his thoughts even if he was awake.

Twi had to go back. he had to find a way back into the KGBO and get someone alone; prefferably Skotti, but he didn't know if he'd be there. the last he saw, Mandi went to confront him and The Shade.
Twi made his way to the West Gate of Durem, and then to the Kuro Gang's Black Ops HQ. the building was still a pretty big mess from earlier, but he knew where to go.
Waffle wouldn't be watching the roof at this hour, he knew that much. so he had that advantage. he crept up from the garage side to the roof and looked for the chimney.

After his shower, Luciano had finished drying off and put on some new clothes. After getting dressed he decided he wanted something to eat. Tonight was just one of those nights where anything could happen, so just in case of anymore invasions from bloodsucking filth, Luciano put on his holster loaded with UV rounds. Before Leaving the room, Luciano draped a blanket over Sabe's shoulders. He didn't know what the hell had happened to him, but he was going to find out later. Luciano had exited out of his bedroom when he came across Johnny in the hallway, "John-" "- D'you know what 'Waffle' did to that poor man, Luciano?" Luciano raised his eyebrow and shook his head, so Johnny gave him all of the details of the situation. Now enraged, Luciano shouted that he needed to see Waffle. Now. Johnny snapped his fingers, making Waffle appear before both men.

The sudden teleportation surprised Waffle, but she was more than happy to be free from the chains. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Luciano and Johnny, both looking clearly angry. But she had other priorities. Their presence was 'conveniently' forgotten as she took the risk and dashed toward her room.

Johnny used his wing and suddenly used it to block her way, "Waffle," Luciano said in a commanding tone, "You've got a lot of explaining to do." Johnny then used his wing to smack the back of her head, then he walked over and turned her so that she was facing Luciano.

"What do you want?" she whined. There was something completely childish about her. "Can I please get back you a little later?"
Waffle knew she couldn't escape from Luciano and the birdman, so she was reduced to bargaining. She was never going to outright say -why- she wanted to leave though.

Luciano glared and he shouted, "You know exactly what I want- You owe Sabe an apology!!" Just then Luciano heard foot steps above their heads. Johnny used his wing to silence Waffle as they listened to the foot steps. . ". . . I'll look outside." Johnny said very quietly. Luciano nodded with approval then Johnny left the hallway. Luciano looked over at Waffle, "We'll continue this later. Right now, you're going on patrol."

Waffle grumbled at the new task. "Okay, fine." she said in a low but tense voice. "Go b***h at everyone else too, wherever they are."
She was tempted to tap her foot on the ground as she waited for Luciano to leave, but not only would that make noise but it could earn her a slap across the face. Pfft. He only wants me to apologize. What a dork.

All of the commotion lately was driving Koji insane. It felt like they hadn't had any time off between mission for ages. Well, that is to say, any time between chaos, because they hadn't had a real mission from the Kuro family in quite some time. He would kill for a simple stealth infiltration and reconnaissance mission at this point. Now with all this trouble about the Kuro Gang being listed as terrorists in the news and Vampires openly attacking headquarters. It was all just getting to be too much and he was starting to wish he had never joined in the first place. He had started up a shower while thinking over everything and ended up just standing under the hot water for a while thinking. It wouldn't be possible to just quit. Not when you're in the black-ops branch. Besides, with the current events, running now would make him look suspicious and that could put him in danger. Maybe he could try being an informant, like Foxi. He continued standing under the hot water, not cleaning himself off, just trying to relax and think. His mind trailed back to their trip through the past, what had happened to his brother, and what happened after. The Kuro family originally going to recruit Salem, not him. They only took him because Salem got himself killed. When he first joined, he thought he would be helping keep the streets of Durem safe. The Kuros were so organized, and they kept the vampires in line. It felt like the right thing to do at the time. The missions were simple enough when he was starting out. They helped him to figure out how to focus his abilities, found out what weapons he was best suited for, and had him running stealth operations. He never had to worry about open combat and keeping personnel safe before he was assigned to the Black-Ops, and the down time between missions was much more frequent. The art requests in his shop were never so far behind until he was reassigned. Koji realized he was starting to get soggy and finished up in the shower. He started thinking about how his life would be different if he had never joined as he dried himself off. His art shop would have taken much longer to open if he hadn't met Foxi through the gang. Foxi. Again, he revisited their trip through time and remembered unintentionally getting a look of himself in the future. It was still so odd to think that in some version of his future, he and Foxi had started a family together. And yet, it was hard for him to picture a life where they had never met. Actually, it was hard to think about a life where he had never become a part of the kgbo. They were his family now. After all the s**t they went through together, it was hard to think of anyone else he felt closer to. Nah.. I can't leave. What would they do without me? He thought, silently laughing to himself. Once he was dry, Koji threw on some pajama pants and flopped onto his bed. His hair was still a bit wet and it fell down into his face and clung to his cheeks. He irritatedly pushed it back and sighed, closing his eyes. "Next vacation we get, I'm getting my hair cut."
