Ann took a muffin, thanked Selene, and contemplated, "I'm trying for Keeper I guess. I kind of suck at the test things...I have to actually read it many times before I get it." She huffed thinking about her horrible Quidditch skills.

Twyla entered the common room, almost shaking a bit. There wasn’t a hope in the world she would know anyone here. It wasn’t just a new school, but a whole new continent! Anyone who she would have called friend was back home and now she was all alone, why did her mother have to go an volunteer. She pushed that thought aside as she took the room in. it was ornate, but not over done. Decked out in what were the house colors and it gave a warm cheery feeling, almost made you want to curl up with a book in front of the fire. She looked around, but it seemed everyone was busy at the moment so she simply stood out of the way becoming a wall flower.

Twyla couldn’t help but be a bit over whelmed by the extremely warm welcome! Oh darn… I’m not going to be able to remember all their names she smiled. “Yes, my name is Twyla” though she didn’t remember ever saying it out loud, “It’s nice to meet all of! Though, excuse me if I can’t remember all of names… I’m horrible with names” she walked away from the wall and sat down on a crimson sofa. “So you have Qudditch here?” she said, a bit in aw. At her old school they didn’t have it, but she wasn’t of age then to have actually played it.

She smiled a pearly smile at the girl who had spoke, then followed up with a question, “Are…are first years allowed to try out for Quidditch here? Where I use to go you had to be at lest 13 to try-out” she was hopeful at the thought of being able to ply Quidditch.
