Uzuki watched as the others left to take care of their punishment for being late. "Note to self; Always be here one time." Getting his mind off of that he thought about the next jutsu they were about to learn, Henge. "So when do we begin our learnings?" He said, intentionally using the word 'learnings'. "And to what extent can the transformations go?" He already had a few ideas in his about this new jutsu.

"Very funny, Fubuki," Sensei said, slightly coldly. "Tategami's explanation is better, although no one answered the second part to my question. I hope this is because of your nerves, or because it is early and you are tired, and not because of your general dimness.
"You can transform into anything you wish. A man, a child, a dog, a rock if that appeals to you," Sensei continued as he made the hand seals and transformed into a perfect copy of Hoshigaki Samegoroshi, height and all. "I can impersonate Hoshigaki until my chakra runs out. Very high level shinobi can even keep up a Henge all day." It was obvious that Sensei did not care for his new appearance though, as he quickly transformed back to the light-haired, wiry adult with headband wrapped about his head (like Ibiki), complete with the nonchalance that screamed Sensei.
"Anyway, the situations in which Henge is useful are obvious. When you don't want to be noticed; when you are impersonating someone and various other things.
"And," Sensei gave a small smirk at Uzuki's choice of words, "we begin our learnings now. Have you done your homework, Fubuki? I mean the hand seals. And Tategami, could you help Arashi and Takamura with the chakra control preliminary exercise?
Like Bunshin," Sensei explained, "in Henge you actually create a layer of chakra about you that takes the shape of the person or object. But of course the layer is much thinner and has more details. So I want you to practice take the appearance of either Fubuki or me, until you get it perfect. Use the seal of the tiger for this jutsu."

"Ah..." Kira's words drawled out, his gaze still blank, but in a rather comical way. "We had homework...?" There was no doubt about it...Kira was in his own little dimension. A right hand slowly elevated up in the air. "I haven't learned the Bunshin." The raven-haired boy stated blankly, almost semi-proudly. In other words, Kira meant that he doesn't know how to create a layer of chakra.
His second day at the Academy was so not starting well.

Sanabi stretched and looked around, nodding to the sensei's words, "So... since I havn't really gotten down names well... who would I be working with? And.. what have you learned so far? Also, the first thing I guess I should ask, is have you even learned the hand seals, let alone learn to control chackra enough to activate them."
Sanabi seemed cooperative on the outside, but on the inside, he loathed having to slow down for slackers. He'd rather be rushing forward, and learning new things. His eyes glanced over at the fubuki boy, a bit ticked off at him as well. He had the entire afternoon, and did not take the time to catch up! Bah! He is definately nothing like the others... but then his own adventure with the Fubuki Genin poped into his mind, and he sighed, Maybe it just runs on the boy's side of the fubukis, to be lazy and avoidant of work.

Sensei sighed.
"Do it for tomorrow, and you get to go home with me and do my household chores. And yes. I said that the newcomers would work on their hand signs, and chakra control. In fact... do your homework now," he said with an air of insufferable patience.
"And well, Tategami," Sensei said, looking around the classroom. "You're working with everyone else here, as well as Ericsson when he comes back from his run. The other two will start with hand seals, I assume.
"So Fubuki," Sensei looked back at the lazy student, "the book is over there. Learn the seals. Where is Miss Fubuki?"

EVERYONE?! he thought to himself and groaned, Why do I have to teach them. Isn't that your job... arn't you supposed to be teaching me? I'm a student too! Sanabi sighed, and muttered with a swallowed pride, "Yes sir." With that he perked up again and grined evily at the people put under his authority, "ALRIGHT PEOPLE!!! We are going to move quickly and efficiently. Grab a textbook off the shelf and open to the hand signs... and if you aready know them... good. Help those who don't! I'm not doing this solo! We'll all move alot faster if we are ALL helping each other."
Sanabi walked over to the book shelf and grabed a book for himself, from which he could refferance to help the slackers. I'm not going to have this hold me up. If someone can't keep up even with everyone's help... I'm giving up on them and moving on with my studies... but those that do get it quickly, can take my place.

Kira grumbled something insulting under his breath. He didn’t retort back, because of Lady Hatsuyuki’s warning that Mistress ordered the clan to behave. “I’m not sure... She didn’t come home last night.” A bit of worry was in his voice. Why was he so worried? Koyuki was with her, right...? Her brother never came home last night, either. He should be with her. Kira shook his head before reaching into his bag and pulled out his own handseals scroll instead. Last time he remembered, he had finished with the rat seal. So the next one would be the ox seal.

Sanabi glanced over to the fubuki kid, a bit worried himself to the whereabouts of Suki, "Last time I saw her, Suki was out at the beach with her brother. She's probably late becuase she had to clean up or something. . . at least that's my guess."

In state of semi consciousness, most of things that were going on flowed passed Shin. The newcomers, the lateness, their punishments and the questions just passed him by as he floated more towards the realm of sleep. However when his name was called out, he snapped back into full consciousness and sat up straight as a beam. The events of yesterday, particularly his day dream had made him very keen on obeying his sensei. So he was very alert as his assignment was decided. Feeling it was best to challenge himself, Shin decided right away to attempt to transform into his teacher. Though they were both male, his teacher was taller and more dangerous looking than he was, so there was alot of changes to make. Yet the greater the distance, the better a grasp on the content he would receive and a greater skill to build on. Standing with his feet shoulder-width apart, Shin faced his sensei. He clasped his hands together in the appropriate handsign, and began concentrating. The first step to any good jutsu is to expel chakra and then mold it in whatever the jutsu required. He focussed on his hands, using his handsigns as a gateway for which his chakra would flow. Now that he had started the flow, he needed to bend and shape it to his will in order to perform what his jutsu required. Splitting his mind amongst the tasks, he began to focus not just on letting the chakra flow but determining where it would flow. He designated that the chakra would spread out along the surface of his body but allowed it to keep space. He would have to appear larger after all. Now that he was expelling and conducting the chakra to cover himself, he was about half way done. That had been the easy part of the exercise, what he was about to embark on would be much more difficult. Up until now, what he had been doing could apply to either models. Now he was at the fork, and he gladly took on the path least travelled.
