Masao noticed that Loki and the others seemed to speed up suddenly, and shook his head a little. He wasn't too concerned now that he had made sure he had their scent trails, and there was also Ryari. If he got horribly lost, she could most likely help him find his way again. He looked over to her, giving her a slight smile as he wondered if she wanted to talk or not.

Ryari had been looking around, and as her eyes once again passed Masao, she noticed him smile. Her heart fluttered for a split second before she regained herself. He's smiling at me. She thought in sheer wonderment. Maybe I should... She gathered heself and spoke up. "Umm, We're getting left behind." She broke the silence. "Not that it matters if you just want to look around..." She trailed off.

Masao gave a soft chuckle. "I'm not too worried," he said with a flick of his tail. "I sort of figure that I need to take more then just a fleeting moment to look around this place. Loki seems more set on rushing through as much of it as he can at once right now."

"Probably because he's been here so many times." She replied, regaining her confidence. "Although I haven't been in this part of the territory myself." She said, plowing her paws throught a small pile of snow.

Masao nodded. "That makes sense. I haven't been most of the places here yet. It will probably take me a bit to completely learn my way around," he said to Ryari. "We can find our way through here together since we both haven't seen this part."

"Uhh... Sure!" She said enthuastically. She padded over to where he was, and continued walking. She looked up at him and asked. "Do you think there is anything intresting here?" Still with the enthuasim in her voice.

Masao grinned. "There might be. You never know, we may find something," he said, hopping a bit through a small patch of snow that was deeper then the rest.

"Hmm.... I hope so." She replied, giving a flick of her tail to dispiss the topic. "Are you hungry?" She asked, because she herself was hungry, and she didn't want to hunt alone.

"Now that you mention it...I am. I haven't eaten in a while," Masao said, looking back towards Ryari. He crotched down in a 'about to pounce position'. "We should find something. I haven't actually hunted with others before."

Ryari giggled, "Do you want to hunt with me?" She asked. "We could catch more with two of us." She smiled at him.

"Yeah," Masao said with a smile. "I think that'd be a lot of fun to hunt together." He swished his tail back and forth a bit, standing up again with a prance of his paws. "Come on, let's go see what we can find around here."

"Have you ever hunted in this kind of erm, habitat before?" She asked inqusitively, starting off to a clump of snow covered braken.

Masao gave a sheepish laugh. "Well...no, I haven't. So, no making fun if I don't do so good. I'm surprised I haven't completely tripped and fallen in a snow drift yet."

"Snow drifts are actually quite fun to jump into, exept when your not expecting it." Ryari laughed. She flicked her ear twords a patch of grass to her left. She turned and faced it, dropping into a hunters crouch. She'd smelt rabbit and now that she was alert, she heard it too. Ryari had almost gotten near enought to poune, when the rabbit perked up and bolted. She set off after it.

Masao made sure to go quiet when he saw Ryari crotch down, soon hearing the rabbit as she had. When the rabbit took off with Ryari after it, he was in close pursuit after them, paying attention to the rabbit's course and the snow around them so he could try to avoid any spots that could trip him up.
