Minerva the Marvelous Das Steube Sean stepped back, grinning lightly. "As you wish." He sheathed the blade, and went back to his rifle, still grinning. Minerva holstered her gun and sat back. "Nice work with the blade, but I still think your hair is reckless." Sean shrugged. "Gives me a visible weakness." He replied, picking off off a sentry.

"But is that the purpose of it? I'm sensing it's more about vanity." She reached her hand back out for the hair, but paused halfway, and decided to ask permission this time. "May I?"

After a moment of handling she let it fall and sat back. "Makes you look like a chick from a distance."

"Enemy units are going to start firing on the tanks. Then a pair of gunships are going to swoop in from the left and smash said enemy like a pop can. Most major resistance from here to the HQ will be dealt with, hopefully. By this time, Jerhic's van should have broken through the heavy resistance and picked up some more along the way. Four tanks and a pair of gunships isn't much compared to thirty or fourty tanks, the Nova, a battalion of Siege tanks and some JSFs on top of that."

Minerva sat down in the bed of the wrecker, and gave him a contemplative look. "If you enjoy being mistaken for a woman, I take it your attractions lie..hmm, elsewhere. That is one difficult way to live in the service, I wouldn't envy it."
She stared up at the sky for a moment. "Locke tried to take over Krovh with only four tanks and a pair of gunships?"

"Ah," Minerva nodded. "Have we figured out exactly what Locke was trying to accomplish with all this? Perhaps if he was working alone or with enemies?" Minerva frowned slightly. "I could see the AoH getting involved, with this obvious attack against supers, but they're in no position to be helping anyone, not anymore."

He's very adamant against anti super fac- ********." He said, looking at Min, "The Soltaris." His expression grew slightly more worried, as he went to his radio, trying to get ahold of Jerhic or the Angel or someone.

Think they tested it on themselves? Nah. The process was refined to an art form before the Six used on themselves, I'll wager. Malador was a early victim of the testing. Also the first success story of it, too. If he's working with anyone, it'd be the Soltaris. Or rather, planning to betray them next." He tapped his radio, and shook his head. "Can't get out." He then looked at Min, "And I think you owe me a kiss."

Minerva raised an eyebrow, considering she had recently figured this guy to be gay. "And you owe me dinner and a movie, but I don't want to get your boyfriend jealous."

Arch the Angel Si1ver Streak Arch the Angel "This isn't a residential area. Move in, check it out. Hidden troops isn't an issue in this situation, but there might be injured. Either way, keep on your toes." He says, signaling two men to go ahead and investigate. He followed behind with them, keeping up, grunting slightly whenever he landed on his leg. There is no sign of movement as the two men approach the structure. Upon making entry, they discover that it contains only a video camera with a telescopic lens, mounted on a motorized tripon, and connected to a laptop computer in one corner. The laptop screen shows a close-up image of the front door to the army HQ building, then switches to show the two of them! A voice issues from the computer speakers, "Good afternoon, gentlemen. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?" "Out. Now." The Chief left no room in his statement for debate, and the two other officers left without a word. "You got 5 to tell me who you are and why this is here before I chuck your computer off the roof." "Oh, Chief! I didn't see you there." The screen changes to show Bobby's face. "I'm Bobby Braddock, the Silver Streak. And as for why this is here, I'm watching the army HQ - which is where I suspect you're heading. Would you like to see my tapes?"
