Ryu takes her hand back. "So, wanna go now or would you rather me spare you the extra minutes?" She laughs and sticks her tounge out at her.

"Sweett!" Suddenly she picks Kai up and carries her out the front door, giggling all the way.

"Ah!" Kai squeeked, curling up against Ryu. She wasn't used to people carring her, more the other way around.

She sets her down to let her lock the door. Then Ryu picks her up again and carries her to the car. She opens Kai's door and then opens her own and starts the car. Soon they are at Ryu's house. She opens the door with her keys. When they enter they the smell of cooking is everywhere. Whatever it was, it smelled pretty good. Their living room was cluttered with random things, and news papers.
"Mom! Im home and I have a friend with me!" Ryu shouts. Her mom comes out of the kitchen. She was just a little shorter than Ryu and had the same red hair except it was longer. Ryu's mom says in a nice tone "Hellooo. Who's this? I've never seen her hang around with you before"
Ryu says "Oh this is my friend Kai. She's really awesome. A whole lot nicer than those assholes I used to hang out with." Ryu smiles and puts her arm around Kai's shoulders.

She blushes lightly. {Should she really be touching me like that around her mother? eek L-last time that happened the parent thought I was some kind of rapist.} She smiles, bowing some, because its a habit of her's. "Hello. Its very nice to meet you."

Ryu's mom laughs. "It's nice to meet you too." She turns to Ryu "Ryu you can fix you guys something to drink in a little while. Dinner is almost ready." Ryu's mom smiles at Kai and goes back into the kitchen.
Ryu smiles and squeezes Kai's shoulders and little and lets go. "See? She's not too bad. Once she gets to know you she'll get really silly.. Which is the side of her I dont want you to see. It's embarassing." Ryu laughs and heads off to her bed room.

"I suppose.." She jumps on the bottom bed of her bunk. "Sometimes mom gets too silly. Most of the time it's annoying. heh" She looks at the painting she had droped off yesterday. It showed a beautiful girl with blondish brown curley hair. Her skin was fair and she was naked. Ryu was supprised the teacher alowed her to paint the girl nude.

Kai blinked, looking to the painting. "Oh wow. Thats gorgous." She states, studing it. "Its a wonderful back view." She looks to Ryu. "Seen her face yet?"

"Have I seen her face in my dream?" Ryu asks. "Not really.. Her face is really dark in my dream and I can barely make it out." She sighs a bit.

She walks over and sits on the bed, poking her nose. "Its ok. At least its not like mine where you wake up in pain. sweatdrop Or humm in your sleep."

"Yah, you're right." She sits up and yawns a bit.
"RYU! Come fix you and Kai something to drink!" Ryu's mom yells from the kitchen. "What would you like to drink..? I thinhk we have Pepsi, water, and some orange juice." Ryu asks.

Ryu smiles and pulls Kai along with her into the kitchen. She pours Kai some OJ and gets herself a bottled water. "Yey for dinner. Mom, I think me and Kai are just going to eat in my room."
Ryu's mom replies. "Ok, just try not to get anything on your bed or the carpet. I dont want cockroaches running around everywhere." She hands them each a plate of food. "Thanks for food mom" Ryu says and she starts heading back to her room.
