Kairi put the phone back in her pocket. "I wonder what he got you though... He hardly ever send me presents, and I'm practically related to him. I might as well be his other half." She scoffed. "All he gives me on holidays even is money in a card."

Moonshock gave a bit of a shrug. She wasn't really the type to get presents, since th only time she was out as during the night--when everyone else was pretty much asleep, so she didn't really worry about it.
"Not sure." she said simply, and looked back at Moonshot...who she really wanted to give a hefty kick at the point--but she didn't.

Lea blinked in confusion as what seemed like utter chaos had insued on their little group. First Super had almost slammed Moonshot on the pavement. That she could handle. But suddenly a random squirrel had showed up, and seemed to randomly warm up to everyone all of the sudden. Lea had attempted to go and introduce herself, but she was beaten by Kairi and Moonshock. Both of whom seemed to want to beat the crap out of the poor squirrel with the funny accent. Whenever he kept saying, "Well aren't you a happy bunch?" Lea tried to argue that they were, a physical or verbal attack would be made.

Every time she raised her voice, another would get louder. After a while, Lea gave up and just took her place next to Moonshot's side. Her spirits had been raised almost 100+ after Kairi's sudden moment of empathy and care for her friends. It made her happy that there was maybe someone who was actually willing to say Bullet was a nice guy.

As she sat there, watching the others, she seemed to get mixed signals from this Moonshot girl. She was cold, and a bit calculating at times. Lea thought that maybe she was planning something, or was just staying still until something interesting happened. Then a few seconds later, she gets a phonecall from Kairi's apparent former "partner" and said something about going to get some mail. If was very confusing time.

Seeing that Moonshot was the only real person that had been staying constant this entire time, she looked at him with curiosity and annoyance.
"Is this guy ever gonna wake up?" Lea said finally, fiddling with a few hairs that was slightly in front of his forehead. "It's gonna be light in a few hours..."
"And I want to see Bullet...." She finished in her mind.

Super watched the moon go behind some buildings. It would only be a few more hours. He stared in the direction of the car had come earlier - although what had just happened, he found it to be the most interesting thing as of so far - only one had shown up so far. Perhaps the rest are taking time with their families, or that they are returning to the other places in the district. He looked over to others, sans the squirrel. "I think we should head to Sickle's apartment. Not only to wait for the tardy wolf, but it's a bit safer then here, out in the open, with a mass murderer lying in the street.

Kairi coughed and looked at Super. "I know Sickle was living there before I came into the picture, but I think you're forgetting that someone-" she pointed to herself "-splits the rent with him."
She then sighed, thinking about the wolf. "But, yeah, I want to go home. Let's go to the apartment..."
PostPosted: Sat Sep 15, 2007 8:15 pm

Super looked away a moment, before countering, "I paid for the apartment for an entire year for that wolf, I have some say in it." He said matter-of-factly. "At least for another month or two." He said. He allowed Kairi to wonder why - much of their art pieces and furniture were originally from Super's home, but when Sickle moved out, Super gladly allowed the wolf to take a lot of stuff from his home - Super's travels from around the world before he quit his 'job' for Sparky, he had collected many pieces of art, and bought much furniture because... Well, sometimes, he just forgot that he had some of the stuff he already had, so he replaced some.

"Well, I think I have some say too." Kairi pouted, thinking about how living there must give her at least a little bit of authority. She had a bedroom and bought food and hung up pictures and everything. It was the only real home she ever had since she was a kid... And Sickle, Super, Sparky, Haden, Moonshock, and Bullet were like her family. She thought about all of them as she started walking toward the apartment. She was thinking about how they seemed to be going through a rough spot right now, but they couldn't let it tear them apart. After a few steps, she turned around and ran back next to Super and Moonshock and linked arms with them, smiling like her usual self. "Let's order a pizza when we get there, I'm hungry."

"Y-Yeah....maybe it's a good idea...." Lea said softly, almost a bit shaken by the fact Bullet had been refferred to as a mass murderer. Or at least Moonshot was anyway. Still.....that fact just seemed to make her feel ill at ease....

As everyone started to prepare lifting the still-sleeping wolf off the ground, Lea looked around, and ended her gaze at Super. He seemed to be a little wary of something that was in the distance. She looked at the object in curiosity: it was a car. It seemed to be an older looking Sadan, with a brick-red color to it. Lea's ears began to fold back slightly, something about it seemed so familiar....

Suddenly, her ears shot up in shock. Her eyes widened as she looked in horror at the licensplate. It was an average looking license, with an ordinary Station Square number-letter sequence, but with only one flaw. Instead of the usual sky scraper-esque design seperating the numbers and the letters, there was an oblong, akwardly-shaped design in the middle. It had multiple layers of metal, almost like that of a topographical map. But to any GUN agent, they knew that it was a flattened minature of Prison Island. One of the only ways that undercovers could identify a civilian...and one of their own.

"OOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooookay," She said, in an overly enthusiastic, sing-song tone. "Um, shall we be heading off? Now?" Lea put her hands on her hips, a huge and akwardly happy smile on her face. "Um...yeah, uh ok. Bullet, right! We need to get Bullet outta here! Er- I mean Moonshot." Almost immediatly, she hurried towards the black and grey wolf, lifted him up, and had him in her arms as if he were a bag of flower. Not slung over her shoulder or anything, but she looked like he didn't weigh a pound. "Alrigthy, were's Sickle's place?" She said, wagging her tail hyperly.

Kairi was pulling both Super and Moonshock along when she noticed Lea had lifted Bullet/Moonshot like a doll. "Ummm...." She said, and then started again, with the two others, linked to her arms. "It's this way, just a few blocks... I don't know what the big hurry is but it's the building over there, the brick one with the tree in front."

Soul turned to her, slightly surprised at her change of heart. With Moonshot nearby, he wasn't like his normal self - he was cool and calculating. "Lea, what's the catch here?" He asked, but he helped her left Moonshot, and then completely removing the burden by putting the tied wolf on his back. He regreeted his bluntness, and attempted to rectify it. "You need food, don't you? Admit it." He called out, with a smirk on his face. His stomach growled - aptly timed, he was surprised at it's timing. "Well I am too, but Kai, are you sure that there are any pizza joints nearby that are 24/7 through Robot Attacks?"

"I know one that is." Kairi smiled. And she did. There was a pizzeria on the lower east side that was run by a woman and a crazy cat guy. She had gone there to eat quite a few times and gotten to know the owners. They were both good at fighting and really nice people. "I'll have to call Lori and Mark when we get in. They have the best pizza in town, you know. And their motto is 'Rain or sleet or or meteor or bomb or robots or what ever crazy stuff happens in this city, We'll get your pizza to you in half an hour or it's free.' I think we'll be eating a nice hot pizza breakfast in no time."

(So sorry that I havent been on. Family probems. Respone to Super from some time ago)

The Squirrel bows slightly, looking at Super with a beaming expression on his face. "Bout time someone decided not to be rude. Really, thats all I was waiting for." As the cellaphone is talked to, he looks elsehwere and then says "Hey, no worries eh? I got more honor then that ya know? Well, I guess Ill be seeing ya around." And with that a light wind picks up, a wind, that thougbarely moved the clothing of those around him, was strong enough on him to lift him up into the sky with no problems. As he circles onces more *Bending air around him so that he could only be seen from the top or sides* he looks for someone else to help...being that that group was to...ingrained to allow any kind of outsider to get close.
"Or maybe I just came in at the wrong time..." Then he spots someone else, running out of a alleyway. Creating a kind of wind-tunnel, he channels the sound from her, all the way up to him. A bit distorted, but he understood she was crying. Swooping down, he lands infront of her
"What in blazes is wrong?" He always had a thing about a girl crying.

Valin walked into the deserted town, it didn't seem as if any life was around, the town was throughly evacuated. Valin, hadn't slept in days, the Chaos emerald spoke to him as he slept, they won't allow him to sleep, they kept him moving forward, not allowing him to rest even for a momentary second. An explosion erupted in the desert, but he was literally unphased at that fact, he was driven to arrive at this city.

Upon entrance, he felt his knees give way, his monk garbs flowed in wind, the clothes showed wear, maybe a little too much. There were rips and gouges along the bottom where he had either stepped on it too many times. Valin wore no weapons, he thought them to useless, not worth the effort of masterment.

Valin straighten out his legs and pressed onward, he was a monk, he was use to perseverance, and not let the little things bother him. Valin's body was crumbling beneath him though, he survived the walk from Mushroom Hill, he can survive long enough to make it to a food stand, There should be on around here somewhere. Valin thought as he looked about, his eyes keen to his surroundings, Valin proceeded forward.

Valin found himself at the door step a local Grocery Store, Food here is rather over the top here, Valin thought Surely they would mind me quenching my thirst and quite the rumbling in my stomach. Valin thought as he pulled out his small leather pouch fixed to his garbs, inside there were small gold pieces, no large than the average sunflower seed. The bag itself was no larger that his fist, but had hundreds of this gold pieces in the bag.

Valin looked about, the shelves were fully stocked, Valin figured that he could just place the gold on the counter, and call it good. Valin walked over to the refrigerated aisle, he grabbed some kind of beverage, it citrus flavored, he knew this because of the oranges and lemons and pineapples that were amongst the bottle. "One forty-five?" Valin questioned under his breath. "How am I to get forty-five? Meh, I shall just round up." He said as he opened up the bottle and took a large gulp.

Valin hissed as he placed the cap back on. This does not taste like pineapple, or oranges.

Valin looked about and eyed a large slab of meat not far from where he was, he was soon to pick it up look at it, "Twenty-five..." Valin hissed, "It better be good." Valin said placing twenty-seven pieces of gold on the counter. He walked out of the store, the street was vacant, there was no reason why he couldn't cook the meat here.

Valin grabbed the flint and and looked around for maybe some wood for a fire, out of the corn of his eye he saw a small pile of wood labeled 'Fire Wood.'

Isn't that what wood is for anyways? Fire and to build? Why display the obvious? Kain thought as he place two of the pieces into the metal can. And grabbed the stack of wood and placed it in to a simple formation, one that would allow him to easily make fire.

Valin grabbed a near by pipe and stuck it through and slowly roasted the meat. He had had some herbs from his journey to this city, but not a lot, so he wouldn't be able to use it on the entire slab, but it should soak into the meat very easily. It smelt of teryaikai, and of smoked pork.

As they reached the apartment building, Kairi took her key out of her pocket. "Here we are~ Home sweet home~." She checked the little mailbox thing that said Sickle Hound and Kairi Edmund on it. She didn't have a last name.. well, she couldn't remember it, so she used Haden's whenever she needed something official, like a mailing address.
She took out a small package wrapped in brown paper and covered in stamps. "Haden Edmund." She read out loud. "Looks like my tooth brush got here faster than I thought it would." She laughed and lead the others upstairs.
As she opened the door she warned the other girls, "Please excuse any mess with Sickle running off and me visiting Haden, there's probably some dust."
She walked in and gestured to the couch, "You can put Moonshot there, when Bullet wakes up I don't want him on the cold floor..."

(SOUL'S EDIT: Congratulations to Kayke for post 3333 of the guild! *Presses applause button*)

Lea shook her head anxiously, wanting just to get the hell out of that street. "Y-Yes! Yes that's it, I'm starving!" She clasped her hands as if she was happy for someone to give some reason for them to leave. "P-Plus I haven't had any sleep in a few days....I g-guess I'm just tired..." This was partly true... With her nightmares keeping her awake at all hours, and the fact that she'd stayed awake for two days with this little group. The prospect of a "reunion" with her old comrades only made her hasten the pase.

Once inside, she looked around Sickle's apartment. "Nice place." Lea said, almost forgetting her fervent anxiouty. "Oh, Super are you sure you don't want me to help...?" She said as she saw Super haul Moonshot inside. Partly because she was afraid of Super's tendancy to not care if he injured Moonshot while "carrying" him.

((Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Congrats Kayke! xd ))
