"All right..." Nina said quietly, even though Mike had already hung up. She put her Pokenav away, and looked over to Aphrodite and Krystal. "Hey, you guys!" she called, "that's enough practice for today! We've gotta get moving!" Krystal looked over to Nina as Aphrodite asked, "Why, Nina? Where do we have to go to?"
"We're going to the summit of Mount Chimney, over in Lavaridge. That's in the Hoenn region." Nina's Pokemon approached her before they were recalled into their Pokeballs, and she made a mad dash to the city's Pokemon Center. Healing her Pokemon and stepping back outside, Nina let out Krystal.
"Krystal... take me to Mount Chimney. I need to sort things out with Mike once and for all."
And with that, they were off.

"Never thought I'd see anyone out here this early," he heard a voice from behind him. Jaeshan turned, lifting his sunglasses from his eyes with a finger to see where the voice came from. To Jaeshan's delight and surprise, stood an attractive young woman, probably the same age as him, if not slightly older. "You're a morning person too?"
"I sure am," Jaeshan responded quickly.
"Are you a trainer?" she asked, looking him up and down.
"I sure am," Jaeshan said again. Oh, that was clever, he thought.
The woman just laughed. "Would you like to have a battle with me?"
Thinking that now it would probably be cute, he gave a broad smile. "I sure would."
"Excellent," she smiled, as the two backed away from each other, both readying a Pokeball.

The mountain seemed much smaller now that he was traveling on the wings of a Charizard. "We'll have to hike up this place again, like we used to." Nitro nodded with a smile, recalling all the times they had been up this very route. They had spent most of their time on Mount Chimney, as both of them loved the sight and smell of a volcano. Mike was always disappointed he couldn't withstand the lava like Nitro could. Napalm tapped his feet excitedly, he could smell the magma and wanted nothing more than to take a relaxing swim.
Soon the three had reached the top, a large crater funneling down into a lava pit. It was easily twice the size of the Lavaridge, and that was a big building. He pointed to the area just to the side of it, a nice expansive flat area, perfect for battles. On each side there were rivers of lava, further adding to the volcanic ambiance. Nitro glided down landing with a slight skid on the fresh dirt, the constant ash raining down had buried the last visitor's footprints.
"Perfect for a battle." He said, running his fingers through the fine dirt, it had been so long since he'd been up here.

Krystal flew through the air, and looked downward at the Kanto region. How many times today is that that I've left there? she thought to herself with a chuckle. The rain was still coming down, although Krystal felt very comforted by it. She seemed to be most at ease when in water, and the rain was her favorite type of weather.
A short time later, Krystal began to descend upon the Hoenn region. Mount Chimney... that's... over here, she thought to herself. Her winged ears flapped a little as she spotted Mike and Nitro. She descended onto the terrain, slightly distanced from the other trainer. Nina dismounted and recalled her Pokemon.
"Mike," Nina said simply.

Mike held up his hand, silencing his friend. "Don't say another word." He set Napalm down in the steadily slowing lava river. "If I am to truly believe you're sincere in your apology," He unclipped two Pokeballs.
"You're going to need to show it on the battlefield."
He narrowed his eyes, a rather unfitting serious gaze sweeping over his face. "There will be a five on five, two Pokemon at a time." Nitro stepped backwards behind his trainer, knowing he'd be used later.
"I do not care who wins, I just want to see your passion for Pokemon and my friendship if I am to ever trust you again." He pressed the buttons, the two Pokeballs clicking in the ready position.

Shocker gave a delighted cry, obviously pleased with the little ghost Pokemon. She motioned for him to 'walk' besider her as the group made their way towards the Pokemon Center.
"I think you've been haning around me too much," Kasiya laughed, trying not to look like Dante. He looks like Giovanni.... her thought finally finished. They have the same eyes, but Dante's are full of kindess and warmth.
"Thank you," Flannery said, trying to laugh it off. "I don't usually do that," she added, nodding at Kasiya's comment. Soon the trio of trainers arrived at the Pokemon Center, both Kasiya and Flannery eager for a meal. They quickly had whatever they were serving, and releasing the many Pokemon they had between them so they could eat too. Kasiya watched with amusement as Hiro and Flannery's Houndoom ate together, still full of respect for one another. Shocker sat up at the table with the trainers, while the goofy green Crobat, Fang, flew stupidly around the ceiling, finally deciding to land and eat his breafkast after he crashed into and nicely destroyed a light fixture. Airel kept a close eye on the newcomer Allegra, while Digger ate in silence, choosing to be away from everyone else. Flannery's four other Pokemon, Rapidash, Camerupt, Torkoal, and Magcargo, chose to stay together, all looking a little homesick in their own way.

Nina nodded, and said nothing. She reached for her belt, and grabbed two Pokeballs. Pressing the Pokeballs' buttons, they expanded. A moment later, Nina flung them out in front of her.
Mihoshi and Aphrodite erupted from the Pokeballs, eager to fight.

Happy to comply Kenny floated next to Shocker and when it came to eatting ate next to th electric pokemon only floating instead of sitting.
Dante had let out his other pokemon as well, Apollo was the most happy as he saw Flannery's Rapidash and had trotted over there to eat his breakfast next to the other fire horse, even his strange flames looked brighter then usual. Bahamut had ignored the food sitting around and instead was munching on one of the stools nearby, Dante didn't feel much like stopping his pokemon and just let her do what she wanted. Shiva had settled herself down next to Airel curious about the other water pokemon. Dante just munched on a pop tart the blue and orange egg sitting comfertably in his lap, it had yet to move at all and Dante concluded that he would have to do a lot of traveling befor this little egg hatched. "So your going to be catching an Absol?" Dante asked a bit curious about Kasiya's quest for the disaster pokemon.

Mike smiled, battles never got old for him. This was what he was born to do. "Beacon, Xanthos, ready set?" He threw the two Ultraballs, his two Pokemon appeared before him. Xanthos looked as fierce as ever, Beacon as far from it as possible.
"Alright, let's get this party started, Xanthos Surf attack! Beacon, charge that wave with your Thunderbolt attack!"
Xanthos smashed his hands to the ground, a massive tidal wave shooting up as he raised his hands. Beacon dashed in front of the Crawduant, firing an electric burst at the charging wave.

"Holy Mew!" Mihoshi yelled, as she was able to Fly away from most of the attack-- however, stray jolts of electricity clipped her wings and she fell onto the ground. A moment later however, she hopped up, and looked over to her partner. "Aphrodite!" she yelled, "get out of the way! That hurts a lot!"
The Lapras was unintimidated, however. She took the full force of the attack, and the electrical attack did a significant amount of damage to her. But, when the Surf attack struck her, she sustained no damage whatsoever, and in fact got some of her health restored. She grinned and looked over to Mihoshi. "I'm fine, see?" she called; "water attacks heal me!" Looking to the Ampharos, she opened her mouth widely and shot an Ice Beam attack at it.
"If water attacks heal Aphrodite..." Mihoshi said, before goazing over to the Crawdaunt. She started clapping and cherring excitedly, giving the Pokemon an Encore.

"On second thought, wanna make this a double battle?" the pretty lady ask, to which, Jaeshan just gave a goofy smile and nodded. Just because she's pretty doesn't mean I'm going easy on her, the boy thought, gritting his teeth. He took up a second Pokeball, and smiled at it before he flung them both out at the same time, revealling Mightyena and Bagon.
The girl just smiled, a second Pokeball of her own appearing in her hand. She too released her Pokemon, a rather cute looking Jigglypuff and an Ursaring. Jaeshan didn't recognize the great bear before him, but somehow assumed it was a normal type as Mightyena stepped forward, snarling and growling, his fur standing on end as he activated his Intimidate ability to lower the enemy's attack power.
"Alright Bagon!" Jaeshan called, knowing this was the tiny dragon's first battle. "Warm up with a Dragon Dance! And Mightyena, go defensive! Cover her!" he finished giving his orders as the Jigglypuff dashed in, attempting to land a Pound attack on little Bagon. Mightyena stepped in the way, taking the attack and countering with a fierce bite, his sharp fangs sinking into the soft flesh of the arm that had struck him. Meanwhile, the massive Ursaring used his first turn to lower the opponents' defences with a terrible Leer. Its eyes shone with an eerie yellow light, causing Bagon to shiver with fright.

Kilik awoke, scratching the back of his head. His eyes were squinted and he let out a yawn. He turned his head to look at a sleeping Ryka. He stood up and stretched, then pulled a sheet of paper from his bag and snatched up a pen from the desk. He set a note down next to Ryka as she slept, picking up his bag.

I thought I'd let you know that I'd rather head to the Gym alone. If I happen to see you and Jae there, well, it'd be nice. However, if we don't, then that'd be a shame. It was nice meeting you. Maybe we could travel together in the future.

Flareon hopped onto his shoulder, whimpering slightly at the sleeping Espeon. "Oh hush," he whispered, "We need to get to the Mart before we go to challenge Surge, anyway. I need to pick up a few things," he nodded. With a final look at Ryka, the boy swept out of the door.

"Encore?!" Mike gasped as Xanthos fired yet another wave, his focus not where it should be. "At the very least that will damage Mihoshi." He turned to Beacon, the Ice Beam rocketing straight at him. The attack struck, thankfully not doing too much damage. "Beacon, hit that fairy with a Thunderbolt!"
"Fly fly a no no!" Beacon clapped it's flippers together, launching a superpowered lightning strike at the hovering Togetic.

Damaged further by the Surf attack, Mihoshi panicked as the Thunderbolt careened toward her. Quickly, she shot out of the way, nearly getting clipped by the attack again. "You're extremely boring," Mihoshi said, looking toward the deranged Ampharos. "You kind of make me tired... Are you feeling tired, too?" She asked, as she began to Yawn.
Aphrodite grinned a little bit, looking toward Xanthos. "It's much appreciated that you decided to help me," she commented. "But... I believe you should help yourself now." She closed her eyes, and emitted a bright Confuse Ray at the crab.
