Every month, a different thank-you letter is given out to donators for that month. These letters start out as 'sealed envelopes', and are unsealed around the middle of the month so that you can open them for the donation items inside.

You may change your gender on the Edit Profile Page. After the first two times, additional gender changes cost 10,000 Gold per time.

The time it takes for donations to be accepted and granted letters varies by the donation method. If it was online, the process should be fairly quick, unlike by mail, which takes some time. The actual time requested to wait for your donation items is 10 (ten) business days. If you feel that it's been longer than that, please fill out the feedback form: GaiaOnline Feedback Form

Rare, or OMG, Events happen at random intervals while browsing GaiaOnline. There are four types of random events: Pink Link: A link on the site that is glowing pink. When you click it, you will be automatically given 1000 gold! Blue Box: After clicking, a blue box will be in your inventory. If you open it, you have a chance to get any rare or uncommon item. Pink Box: After clicking, a pink box will be placed in your inventory. Pink boxes contain really rare stuff. Trunk: After clicking, a trunk will appear in your inventory. Daily chance is an activity that allows you to get five free items every day. When visiting the main links at the top of each Gaia page (Home, My Gaia, ...), you will see a box with images spinning in it near the top of the page. Click it to get your free item.
You may do this once per each section (except Contribute) every day.

To trade, you need to go to the bank: Bank / TradesOnce there, you can start a new trade (only if you have a trading pass, which you must buy to be the one starting a trade). When you are in the trading page, just click items you want to trade (or add money). When you are ready, enter your password in and click confirm. After that, the other person needs to add their stuff the same way, or just confirm the trade. The final step is the trade-starter confirming it one more time. Once that is finished, the trade is complete~

Dedicated Gaia Moderators handle forum moderation, Art Arena approvals/disapprovals, Link List moderation, Gaia Guild Network moderation, and more. Send signature removal requests, Terms of Service questions, and other general forum questions to these moderators.
Global Gaia Moderators handle abuse and harassment reports, as well as oversee moderation throughout the site.
Omnimoderators handle account issues, including hacking and scamming reports. Talk to these moderators about problems you may have with your account, items, and inventories.
Administrators are the creators, programmers, and developers of Gaia Online. It's generally not recommended to PM the admins, but if you have a question about moderator conduct in particular, you should contact Jakobo, L0cke, or Ling.
