"...Fine..." Long siad as he let Rin lead the way down the hall and out the hole in the wall he had made from yesterday. Long was rather taken aback by Rin's behavior ad response, "What do you mean IF I'm patient?" Long said narrowing his eyes lightly.
"I don't think you can't not do anything, you just probably haven't figured out what your best is," Long spoke almost with no volume as he turned his head only to have a rather large chunk of debris fall on his head from the broken and unmended wall. This was definetly the work of karma since, Long had done some rather outrageous things the day before to get good out of it, in fact, it was too much of being outrageous and more hooliganism.
Long figured life was doing this in spite of his intentions to help out Rin. His mind was so preset to helping Rin and at the same time tease her. His head was full of many funny thoughts of how he was going to teach Rin how to fight. Several ideas involved dynamite for some odd reason...Others involved 'teaching' how to fight. Long couldn't just teach fighting, Rin had to rely on her own fighting instincts whilst training with Long.

Rin led him slowly out through the hole in the wall, heading towards the cafeteria for breakfast. She listened quietly as he spoke, and then glanced over her shoulder to reply, just in time to see the chunk from the wall fall on his head. She froze, blinked a couple times, and then quickly turned her head away.
Her free hand moved up, clamping itself over her mouth as she bit her tongue in an attempt not to laugh. It was kind of mean, she knew, but it was so funny! Just a sudden string of running into walls, and things falling on his head. How could she not find it funny? She was managing to hold in the laughter though, and took a deep breath before pulling her hand from her mouth, fully recovered.
"I mean," she began, glancing at him once more. "I have no experience at all." She was honestly a little nervous. Her? Fighting? She'd never done such a thing before. Not on her own, at least. The fact that this was Long who was teaching her only served to increase her uncertainty. But she looked completely composed as she led him along by the hand.

"Experience is..for video gameszz and nerdszz that play that World of Warcraft game..." Long said as he held his head lightly, "Lessons and learning are for minds..." Long said as he tried to straigthen out his sentences. The large chunk may have been messing about with his thought pattern since he was losing his high and mighty authority of enlightenment.
"Aughh...that did not feel too good..." Long said as his mindset was almost different. He lightly let go of Rin's hand, "I got it from here Rin.." Long spoke almost sounding like someone else, because he spoke almost of slander and had an actual no correct grammar speak. He then fixed his crooked hunch, and stood stright like a regular person. His tone with Rin was much warmer and verily kinder than his 'phantom-like' speak. He then paused for a moment, but he watied and was ready to follow Rin.
It was almost as if Long had slightly changed due that chunk of cement had hit him in the back of the head. Instead, what really happened was that the block of cement had hit a part of his skull to clog the brain where his eternal knowledge, accurate and complex thought processes came from, it didn't damage, just gave it enough tap force to have Long be thinking like a regular person for a couple of hours.

"Ok..." Rin blinked, confused as she glanced over her shoulder at him. She saw he was holding his head, and a brief look of concern passed across her face. "...are you ok?" she asked uncertainly, noting the way he'd spoken, especially with his s sounds. She let go of his hand as well, a little reluctantly. But, they were outside again, so there shouldn't be any more walls for him to run into.
"Alright..." she mumbled, still watching him with that unsure expression. He sounded odd, and he was standing straight for once. As strange as it sounded, seeing him walking normally was surprising for her. Could it possibly be because of that bump on the head? She wasn't sure. Until now, she'd really thought he was kind of... invincible. After all, he had fallen on the pavement and busted through a wall without any sign of injury.
But she tried to shrug it off, as she slowly turned and started walking again, heading in the direction of the cafeteria. Ugh... she didn't like being confused. Surprisingly though, one of the random thoughts that entered her head concerning how he was standing straight, was that he was now taller than her by a few inches. Until now, they'd been pretty close because he slouched.

"I'm alright I guess...so what do ya feel like eating?" Long asked as he strangely looked over at Rin. His tone and attitude almost flipped around. But this effect was only temporarily, Long would change back to his brash and ghoulish self in a bit of rage. But, this wouldn't happen, so Rin could be enjoying her time with him until he changed back. This probably meant that Rin would better enjoy this before it was over and Long reverted back to his old self, becoming stoic and witty.
Unlike his usual self, this Long seemed to be well worked together. It was almost as if his walking, breathing, thinking and facial expression seemed to flow. Which was paralleled to his robotlike and complicated movement, he was now looking normal, which made his looks more noticable. This made him more approachable in a way. In some cases he would appear to look slightly more gallant than his hunched self. His shoulders appeared more broadened as he straightened his body a bit more to have him the posture of a well groomed knight. His face appeared some more and actually made him look like he had come out of his shell.
Long was very different as opposed to his usual self, this one seemed more considerate and was very willing to listen. He turned his head and kept his focus on Rin for her response. His face actually showed anxiety on it and even had a clean curve of his smile which could nearly knock out anyone.

Rin just stared at him, eyes just slightly wide. He really was like a completely different person. For a couple seconds, she didn't say anything, and instead just seemed confused. But then she snapped herself out of it, and slowly shrugged her shoulders. "....pancakes," she said after a moment. "I haven't had those in.. a while."
She frowned slightly, glanced at him once more, and then slowly continued on her way towards the cafeteria. "What.. about you?" she asked, a little quietly. Her gaze lowered to the ground, and then to the building ahead of them. She stepped up to the door, and tugged it open, holding it for him. She waited to see if he'd make a comment about it again, or if he'd just go in.
Either way, she couldn't help wondering what had happened. Had he been hit in just the right place on his head to knock something out of place? It kind of seemed that way.

((Gah, I'm really late with Violet's second post.)) Violet made it to the dorms with her stuff still floating behind her. She smiled at the few people standing in the lobby and went straight upstairs to her dorm. After getting in and setting her things aside, Violet looked around her room and tried to get used to it.
"Well, this'll be my home from now on. Guess I should go explore the Campus now." Violet checked to make sure she had her keys and ID then left, flying out the main dorm building quickly so she could get around Campus fast.

Jacob parked his van outside the dormitory, and walked up. He went to his assigned room, and turned the doorknob. It was locked. That meant he had a roommate, and they were already there. At least he hoped. He knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer.

Jacob sighed and looked at his card. It was the right dorm. Jacob removed a lock pick from his pocket and picked the door. He opened it to find a Neko standing in the room. She was quite tan. Especially compared to Jacob, and had black hair. He waved at her, and set his two bags inside the doorway. Introductions are always difficult for Jacob. It isn't that he's a shy person, but, he can't tell them his name, ask them their's or anything. He hoped she could read body language adequately, or else they would have a bit of dificulties as roommates. He bowed a little bit and reached his hand out in offer to give her a handshake.

Jacob decided to sleep in his van that night. His roommate no attention to Jacob when he entered the room the day before, so he thought 'to hell with it' and crashed in hid van. Once he got back from his philosophy class, he headed back to the dorm. It was evening, and he had spent most of his day playing guitar outside to earn some cash. He had made twenty dollars before he went to class, which wasn't too bad. Jacob was thinking about taking a class in musical arts as well, he also was thinking of classes in psychology and sociology, but those would have to wait. He didn't want to be encumbered by a tight schedule, he liked to be flexible.
Jacob climbed into his van and took a seat on his couch. His van was pretty big. There was a waterbed against the back of the van, sideways, and dark gray shag rug carpeting. He thought about putting a disco ball in for kicks, but decided against it. coushony comfortable couch against the side opposite the side door, and a small flat-screen TV propped up against the wall next to the side door, along with a couple old gaming systems stacked on top of eachother such as a Super Nintendo, Playstation One, and a SEGA. Jacob loved old school video games. There was a stack of books on the ground near the bed, the one on top was entitled "How To Read a Book by Mortimer J. Adler". There was a book on the bed with a silver book mark entitled "Artemis Fowl", one of Jacob's favorite novels next to an Alienware Laptop. There was a small trunk containing Jacob's clothes, and a largs 50 CD CD Changer and a big stereo. The Gorillaz - Demon Days album was playing softly. He hopped on to his bed, which made the van move slightly, and he began playing his guitar.

She turned around and stepped back. "Guys and girls in the same room...?" She thought to herself. "Oh well," She thought again. "Hello," she said waiving. "I'm Gaberella," she said politely.
