Well there was the fact... Zell couldn't see his own eyes often. Not that it would matter much if he could, for being in love the SeeD was probably more than a little biased. His grin became more soft as Maryline moved his bangs for him -there was a reason he spiked the suckers! (other than it made him look a liiiitle taller)- & slightly leaned into her palm. A better idea? "Oh?" Zell asked, quirking a brow. Then he found his eyes closing at the feel of her lips to his chest, heart fluttering beneath the touch nd a long contented breath drawn in & out. Hyne but it made it difficult to listen to what Maryline was saying.

Zell nodded once her words registered, slowly opening his eyes and moving in to give her a kiss. Part of him wanted to ah-hem dally more, but Zell knew he was hungry, she was hungry, and truth of the matter was.... there was always later. Not to mention as good as this new revelation of wonderment was there was always other cool stuff to do too. Just because he was a little overpowered by it and bordering on a one track mind when touching Maryline right now... Well it was to be expected, what with a young man in love having such feeling and experiences suddenly explode around and within him. "Sure thing, 'Line." Bend down, kiss her bare shoulder, look up with his boyish smile, love sparkling in his eyes. "I'll hurry, k? Pretty psyched about getting some grub."

As if to second the notion his stomach gave a rather loud protest to which Zell laughed. His hands still rested on Maryline's hips but easily... he wouldn't hold her back when she went to leave him & the tub. Tempted... and they would likely linger before falling but... yea, no restraint.

Dark eyes regarded the fallen angel with something like a stare of the incredulous. Cute? Well... Penny had once called him cute when they were dating at Hogwarts, but usually only Mum said something like that. At least about him. One thing Percy Weasley was not accustomed to being credited for was cute. Another frown as he listened to her, again more for himself or of himself tnan anything else. He gave a nod to indicate that he was following her thought process or at least her words which were what he had to go by and joined her in coasting on the air towards ground. Flying with his wings was certainly a lot easier when he let instinct take over instead of trying to think too much about it.

"That's quite insightful. Does it work?"

She smiled at his nod, lifting her hands to pour water over the both of them as he bent to kiss her. Close enough to her dreamed of storm kiss. If she knew half of what he was thinking past dallying though, she would have become her sunset once more. Her hands dipped back down to bring water to his other shoulder, just as he softly kissed her own. She gently tapped her forehead to his<< Just for the food? >>Her arms encircled him as she gently pressed her torso with his, leaning forwards to just nuzzle his neck. She rested her head against his shoulder, almost looking forlorn up at him<< nothing...more? >>She chose that instant to smoothly stand and step right out of the bathtub, repressing a smile. Embarrassing as it may be, there wasn't a woman alive who didn't enjoy driving her man at least a little wild. She smoothly walked over to the bathroom closet, one arm modestly across her breasts<<

>>Then again, Anon thought everything was cute. She lightly rubbed the back of her neck with her hand, having enough decency to look a little embarrassed<< Well...I'd like to think so. I've sort of move around too much to really try it on myself. But I think I'm making some real progress with Solstice. >>Her toes delicately touched the snow before letting her legs become ingulfed, tucking in her wings<< Want to come in with me? Some hot coco is the least I can do for escorting me home.

Dur... nur... nur... Maryline's question... her body pressed to his squishing things very comfortably between them.... It all managed to melt Zell's brain quite nicely. Only because he was melted & yet somehow remembering he was supposed to let her get out of the tub did his arms not enfold her to keep her to him. Then that forlorn look in her eyes... "uunnngh...."

Okay... breathing heavy, eyes rolling back in his head. No... not just the food. Definitely not just the food. Definitely more... Hyne!! Glazed eyes slowly refocused, their gazed following Maryline. Unble & unwilling to look way. Wasn't there something he was supposed to be doing? Zell didn't remember telling his hand to take hold of the soap. Didn't realize even as he cleaned his lower half. All without taking his eyes from Maryline. Driven wild? Hell yeah. Nearlyl jumping from the tub to take her into his arms and back to bed. If his legs weren't complete jello.

Solstice. She was the dragoness with the young child, if Percy remembered correctly. From being told of course, not from having met her himself. In fact, other than those he lived with -and in this he included Maryline- Percy had not met any others. Folding his wings he landed beside her, quickly sinking into the snow. He was quietly thoughtful about what Anon had said.

Blink. "Come in? Thanks but it's not necessary." Dark eyes flicked as if he would not mind and Percy shifted uncomfortably. "I'm certain if you really think so you'll continue to make progress with Solstice..." Meh. He wasn't being very good at this today.

>>Enjoy? Understatement. She hid her smile as she walked away from the tub, feeling his eyes on her the entire way. The female extended her other arm to pull open the closet door then pull out a towel. Smoothly she opened it up and at last used both arms to wrap the cloth around her body. She tucked a corner of it in to keep it up and grabbed a light blue towel before closing the door. Then it was back to the tub, her hair clinging wetly to her neck, shoulders and back<< Ready, dearest Zell?

>>No? Oh...Percy didn't know her too well. She sighed, shaking her head<< Now I know that you're not refusing a lady's invitation into her house. That would be rude. >>She reached up to tuck some golden brown hair behind an ear, suddenly looking so innocent in the cold wind<< And though a bit stiff...a little rough around the edges...you're not rude Percy.

Maryline putting on the towel was enough to free enough of Zell's now mush brain to remember to rinse off. The water was getting colder but he hardly seemed to notice or care. Ready? For what? The blonde male had half a notion to grab Maryline -towel and all- and show her exactly how ready he was. Thankfully... either hunger or reason took control and with a lopsided grin he nodded, stood, and accepting the towel stepped out of the tub.

And blithely dried his hair first after running the towel over his face, bending at the waist to give Maryline a kiss. His tail wagged behind him. "yeah. Could say that." Zell teased with a crinkle to his eyes, not even letting his eyes dip downward in indication, though the husky depth to his tenor voice might. Raised to dry his hair, his arms shook with repressed longing to take Maryline back into his arms.

Percy knew her hardly at all. Appearance. Name. At least before today. And he wasn't exactly and accurate quick judge of character. But... blink. Had she just called him rude? No... well maybe... in a roundabout way...

The red-head flushed hotly. "ah... no. Of course I'm not." How in the heck was he supposed to respond in this situation? "I meant no offense, Miss Anon. I would greatly appreciate a spot of hot cocoa if it is not an inconvenience to you."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 23, 2008 1:50 pm

>>She gently handed him the towel, letting a flick of a smile show at his tone. But she couldn't just give in now, could she? For one, food was a necessity. And for another, they just got clean. She moved onto her tip toes to softly kiss his lips, almost chaste if not for the bubbling passion beneathe it. And she had a stronger will then that. The female lightly kissed his lower lip before stepping back, out of the reach of his trembling arms<< Then I am going to dry in the next room. >>She spoke sweetly before quickly walking out, closing the door as she let her towel fall to one arm. This could either cool of her golden haired wonderboy, or break his restraint completely. Eitherway, she still had the decency to at least try to get dried off and changed without him<<

>>She nodded, brightly smiling before walking up the porch steps<< No inconvenience at all! Solstice is at Sets, Maryline's at your place, and who knows where Aki is... >>Alright...so maybe the real reason was that she just...didn't want to be alone<< Now, no looking. >>She turned so her back was completely facing him, and reached into her top to pull free the key. Barefoot, wearing a dress, hair down...there was only so many places to put it. She unlocked the door before slipping the key back to where it had been<< Mk, safe to come in!

Oh Hyne...

Only knowing that they needed food restrained Zell from running after Maryline and pulling her back into his arms with an insistence the fistfighter had not known he could feel. Hyne, he could still feel that last touch of her lips! Breathe, in & out. Repeat. Again. "yeah... prob'bly a good 'dea at that, 'Line." He muttered under his breath.

Quickly Zell dried himself off and wrapped the towel around his waist, seeing to it that the tub was drained and everything back where they had gotten it before making his way out of the bathroom.

Oh... Percy nodded and offered a thin but genuine smile. Just before he hastily turned around at her instructions -recognizing something either in words or tone that told him that obliging was really for his own good. Blushing slightly -not really wanting to figure out why he had to look away Percy again nodded before following the black winged female inside. "Thank you."

>>The door clicked shut, and she slowly exhaled as she closed her eyes. One...two...three...safe. She moved away from the bathroom, slidding the towel along her body until bending at the waist and wrapping the cloth around her head to encompass her hair. The princess straightened then to walk over to the magic dresser, her blue dress still at the cottage from her horseride to the clearing. She opened it and rummaged around, her bare back feeling uncomfortably vulnerable to all eyes. She quickened her search. But try as she might...the female couldn't find a suitable gown. Modest, but...well...appealing. Something comfortable but not too dull. In the end, she settled with a white dress, simply grabbed when she heard the tub drain. The princess quickly got changed before going to her nightstand, and pulling out the first drawer. Off came the towel, and on went the delicate gold necklace. There. The bathroom door opened, and she turned to greet it. Faintly blushing however, when she realized they had infact brought in no clothes for the seeD<<

>>she proudly held open the door, brightly smiling as one arm guestured grandly to encompass the small house that was her home<< Welcome, to Solstice, Aki's, Anon's and Maryline's Cottage! Its not much but...well, we all manage. I'm gonna get the water boiling, so you can sit or look around or something. Just be sure to take off your shoes. Sol oddly enough is a clean freak eek >>she twisted her feet onto the little mat inside before walking forwards to the doorway leading to the kitchen. Now inside a warm place, her feet stung with every step. She managed to only wince the first handful of times<<

Zell wasn't worried about clothes. When Myr had conjured a new jacket for him after the fire usar attack the wizards had been good enough to magic the pocket so he could always carry his uniform with him. That had been Hemi's idea, considering Zell & Maryline's 1st impromptu 'date'. But he didn't go to grab his jacket, beaming instead to see Maryline facing him and looking radiant in white and that necklace. The SeeD turned smartly on his heel and jogged over to wrap his arms around her waist from behind -nevermind Maryline's still damp hair- and tucked his head as sweet and innocently as he could against her neck with a nuzzle and kiss to her cheek. "Pretty Angel tease." Zell jested playfully & tenderly with a laugh in the timbre of his tenor voice. Oh yeah... no cloud could obscure his joy today.

Right. Solstice. From what Percy had heard and could gather upsetting the dragon anthro was worse than pissing off his mother & Ginny at the same time but torn limbs instead of flung spells. Neither was something the owl-anthro really wanted to incite right now. Or ever. Nodding he made sure his wings were inside before seeing to it that the door was shut and bending down to unlace his shoes.

It was a small house, but clean, and there were only the four living there. So likely not as crowded as the Burrows. Nor clearly as hectic as his new home. Though At least he had his own space. "Nice place."

Percy glanced up and frowned lightly to catch the tail end of Anon's last two winces. Foolish. He thought to himself and sighed. But what could he do? Standing Percy wiggled out of his shoes, setting them beside the door where they would not be in the way if any of Anon's roommates returned home. Shrugging back into his robes Percy let the long ends cover his socked feet and walked over to the couch to sit down. He felt a bit uncomfortable, not knowing what to do. Or even what to say. Percy did not think Anon would appreciate him getting on her again for nearly loosing her feet from the could out of stubborn stupidity. Heh. That would be more than rude, especially as he was a guest here. So the wizard kept his mouth shut and his thoughts to himself.

>>Now to just get the brush from the bathroom and...her thoughts snapped back onto Zell as she caught his movement, watching as he jogged towards her. Or not. She leaned back slightly as she felt his hand touch her side right before his arms were around her, resting against his shoulder. The female then placed her head gently on his to close her eyes. Well...they had time. She overlaid his arms with her own, relaxing against him<< Only for you love, just you. >>She spoke softly, lovingly, a helpless smile on her lips. Plenty of time<<

~dooo doo dooooooooooo! Two hours later...~

>>Maryline lightly gripped Zells hand, her free one fiddling with a loose piece of blonde hair under the invisable cloak. Her teeth lightly worried at her lower lip. She had insisted that they walked, against Zells better judgement about warping or flying again, a thing she almost regretted now as the toes in her slippered feet curled in the cold. There was no snow, but the ground was covered in frost, and little slippers did nothing for the chill or rocks. But she had prompted this...she would deal. The female glanced up at the blond, his face hidden in the cloaks cowl. Maybe she should just drop it. It was horrible for her to assume things in the first place. She loved him but...but...Her eyes snapped back to infront of them before she walked straight off the path. Her fingers paused in her hair<< Out of...curiosities sake...surely over the past three hundred years... >>She shifted to have her hood cover more of her reddening face. Her voice was clear in the crisp air, even a bit offhanded as if this was nothing. But it had a certain breathless quality to it, as if trying to assure herself this was alright and rushing herself to get it out before she changed her mind<< something besides herbal tea and...surely something else has been invented for preventing pregnancy...correct? >>She now rubbed the piece of hair between her thumb and index finger, very pointedly not looking at him. She should have opted to warp<<

Thank you! >>She called out from the kitchen before turning on the sink and having the water run into the small mouth of the kettle<< I was actually surprised when I first came here. Sol doesn't seem the type at ALL to have such a cute little house. Then again, she probably conciders it better then livin' in the shop. >>Anon turned off the water and took the kettle to the stove. There she turned on the flame and reached up into the cabnets to pull out two mugs<< Mayhap if you're lucky you'll meet her today. Just if she does come in, be careful not to stare at her child. Just saying Solstice is protective is an understatement<<

The moomba male fidgeted slightly beneath his own invisibility cloak, hazel-blue eyes keeping watch. Don't get him wrong: Zell loved walks. Especially walks with Maryline. But... well he felt better about keeping her safe and her new location undisclosed traveling to Solstice's Cottage any other way.

Not only that... but it left him too much time to think.

His fingers wrapped lovingly and tenderly around Maryline's a thumb lightly rubbing the back. The hyper SeeD was a bit subdued on their walk which could be attributed to his worry about being discovered or blowing their cover though it was only in part that. It was also a calm, just being happy to be with Maryline. But still more: He was thinking about what they had shared -how they had taken their relationship to the next level.

It was something Zell had never expected and therefor had not really thought about. Hell, he'd thought more about marriage -little enough that he did about that either believing it to be a pipe dream- than this. And hell yeah, he was thrilled about it. But... well... It might have been a one-time thing. Which truthfully... Zell could be cool with. It'd make it harder than Hell for him if that was the case, now that so much had been unlocked within him -but if that's what Maryline wanted...

The sudden sound of Maryline's voice broke his thoughts and in a flash Zell had turned his face to look at her as they walked. But she wasn't looking at him so he couldn't see her. Zell blinked and nearly stumbled having to take a double step with one foot to regain his balance when Maryline posed her query. Hazel-blue eyes went wide and Zell sucked in his breath suddenly.

That breath he released, slowly drawing in another and releasing that as well before attempting an answer. "Well, yeah. There's lots of things. Some more reliable than others. Best to double anything up with a condom, just because nothing's 100% perfect..." He rattled off like he was standing at the front of a classroom about the available birth control methods and their pros & cons. His voice shifted ever so slightly on the tops of some of his tones but otherwise the only indicator of how this was really affecting him was his hand on hers. It was sweating ever so slightly and his grip was tightening off and on.

When he stopped talking so too did his legs stop moving. Zell turned to Maryline and reached for her free hand with his and looked into the hood of her cloak searching to capture her eyes. "Maryline... are you saying..." Zell gulped heavily, searching her face.

Percy arched a brow over his horn-rimmed glasses. "That's like saying to someone 'don't flirt with Rune' isn't it?" Was he making a jest? The faintest bit of a smile curled the corner of his lips.

... "Are your feet feeling warmer yet?"
PostPosted: Sat Jan 26, 2008 7:27 pm

>>She promptly winced as he bounced to regain balance. Definatly should have gone with warping. The woman tried to ignore the feel of his eyes on her as they continued to walk, tried not to think about the thoughts running in Zells mind as she heard his deep breaths. Her grip tightened on his when his response registered, and he froze. She took one step more before thoughtlessly turning to him. He claimed her other hand, pulling it from the golden curl and she looked up at him, swallowing<< Can you do more, such as with more tea leaves gives a stronger tea? We could triple, or quadruple. Or... >>She took an uneven breath, catching halfway. She slowly let it out, blue eyes on hazel<< A very wise, foolish man once told me that if one is too safe, life will pass you by. I listened to that man, and was rewarded immeasurably. I wonder what would happen, if I listened once more? >>Slowly, hesitantly, she smiled<< But quintuple could hardly hurt, correct?

>>The fallen angel pulled out two packets of hot coca mix, ripping both tops off together and pouring the power into the mugs. She blinked<< Welllll, can't say I know Rune. >>She faintly smiled before walking to the trashcan to discard the empty packets<< But sure. As for the feet...well, I can feel them now, and thats always a good thing, neh? >>So they still stung a little with every step. Better then numb in her book<< And how about you? Warm enough in there? I can grab a blanket for ya if you want.

He moved the back of his hand to feel the curl Maryline had lost hold of against his skin. It was... hard to believe they were having this conversation. Here. Maybe halfway between their homes. With a wavering quirk of his lips Zell shook his head. "I dunno about your herbal teas, 'Line, but with pills or shots ya can't double up. Meds are best following the prescription. Too little and they might not work. Too much and they could really hurt ya, even kill some of them. Now I dunno how it is with birth control meds, being hormones, but Hell if I'd chance you." There was so much feeling inside him, so many things in his head. Most of it showed in his eyes, incredulous and loving as he looked tenderly into her eyes. "So no quintuple but..." Suddenly he blinked, mind registering what Maryline had said. Or rather, something specific that she had said that now rang a very loud bell in his head. 'A very wise, foolish man once told me that if one is too safe, life will pass you by.' 'if one is too safe, life will pass you by.' ... Zell's mouth opened and he looked halfway between blindsided and about to laugh. "Heeeeeeey...!" Could one actually grin & pout at the same time? If so, Zell was doing it. Bottom lip stuck out cutely while the corners of his lips curled & lifted. He'd said that to her. Just before their first kiss. So he was a wise fool? heh. He could live with that. Especially as Maryline said she was 'rewarded immeasurably' -which he took to mean she was happy with how things had turned out. He certainly was.

The grin won. So did his intense desire to pull her into his arms. Hell... there was no one else around -and they were under invisibility cloaks. Pulling her hands together and to his lips Zell released them then wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. "hmph. Well this wise fool needs a mushy fix so c'm'ere you, woman princess."

Zell was grinning as he moved his head to hers to kiss her. "We can figure out which can be mixed and how when we get home. Together." Whispered breathlessly just before their lips touched.

The wizard gave a small almost weak laugh. The laugh of someone who did not let himself laugh much. "It's not knowing Rune... she's a sweetheart. It's knowing Seifer. He's liable to bite someone's head off for looking at his girl the wrong way." Pause. "But he's dead-on when it comes to keeping security up to muster. Brilliant at it." He was frowning that Anon said she could now feel her feet -that meant they had been numb. Not good. Not good at all. But if her friends had not been able to get her to wear adequate clothing to protect her, how could he? "No. No. I'm fine." Actually a little over-warm as he had put his robes back on and he had grown accustomed to the weather outside or the cooler temperature his home was kept.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 26, 2008 9:41 pm

Hurt? >>A flicker of confuesion, her 17th century mind not connecting how medication could hurt her. And what were hormones?<< Alright...no quintuple. >>She'd just have herbal tea to add on. The female then all but grinned as he realized the origin of the advice. Yes, that old conversation. Seemed so...long...ago. The females smile softened as he brought her hands to his lips, right before his arms were around her waist. Her chin raised, features gentle as her chilled hands found his chest under the cloak<< I can do that. >>Was all she whispered, talking of kissing him or mixing or both, was up in the air for interpretation. She tenderly kissed him back, cowl falling off her head from the angle. It was up to the future now to tell what would come of this. But one thing was for certain. It would be together. Always together...<<

~To Dec. 15th! >>gets out notes<<~

Ooo, now 'line DID manage to tell me about him. He's the guy that's mean to Zell right? He sounds like a jerkface. >>With that, Anon's head popped into the family room. She promptly moved to the couch he sat on, sitting down on the opposite end to tuck her feet under her. Little, tiny giveaways that the cold did affect her<< I don't know if I could love a man like that...Kind to me, but mean to everyone else...seems too...I don't know, hypocritical? Mmmm... >>she leaned back into the couch, head falling onto the cushion behind her as her eyes closed<< That doesn't seem right...Favoritism? Hmmm... >>The female shifted as she softly sighed<< Just seems unfair somehow.

December 15th

Scene:The kitchen. A fairly homey room that is a source of comfort and stability to the ever growing and changing 'family' who reside within the cottage-like house in Bass'ken woods. The cabinets are wood with a simple trim painted white. The floor tiles are a soft tan with some green tones designed to resemble stones. The counter is a slightly darker version of the floor tiling, except without the square breaks -being one continuous surface. A table stands in the middle of the room that perhaps could hold 4-6 humans comfortably -usually. Like the rest of the room and the rest of the house, the magic integrated into its structure permits it to grow and expand to never feel constricting to the rooms' occupants. Now, it is in it's 'small' size -a comfortable kitchen with room to move around for a few cooks or a small family.

It is clean and tidy. Or well... it recently was. Currently there is a thin dusting of flour upon one row of counters where a mixing bowl rests. Containers of flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, salt, brown sugar, butter, chocolate chips, and pecans bedeck the counter as well. A sifter is out, sitting to the side. Wearing a big white apron over his black shirt and blue shorts -his jacket draped as casually as he would sit over the back of a chair- Zell Dincht shot a brilliant smile at the only other person in the room. The way his hazel-blue eyes sparkled with joy and love if there was anyone else there with them they would not have to see his companion to know who she was. At least... no one in their family would have to. Although not talked about (much), for most understood at least to an extent the situation surrounding their live in guest and her erstwhile kingdom, everyone knew how their moomba-anthro was in love with Princess Maryline.

"Sooo..." The SeeD drawled with a teasing grin. "You gonna be eating these with your own hands after they've baked or're we gonna have'ta be creative? ... again..." Hazel-blue eyes seemed to dare: gimmie an excuse to be creative again. A flash in his eyes to remind her how it had gone before -and how much they had enjoyed it.

His eyes narrowed worriedly at the way she tucked her feet beneath her, but he said nothing -only sighing a little that at least they were be getting warm quicker that way. "Yeah. That's the one. But I think Rune has a point, that Seifer's that way to keep people at a distance. Sure he & Zell go head to head sometimes, but I hear it's nothing to like how they were growing up." Percy stood, taking a blanket from the back of the couch and spreading it around her without a word about it then sat back down as if it had not even occurred. He did not even look at her. "He picks on him, sure, but when Zell disappeared he led the search. And from what I can tell... he's spent countless hours seeing to Princess Maryline's safety." The wizard shrugged, finally glancing Anon's direction again. "At least he has someone he's kind to I guess. Anyway... seems to me whenever anyone is in love there's favoritism. Spend time with them over other friends and even family. That sort of thing. Goes for jobs, school... whatever someone's deemed important really. Hard to do everything 'fair'."

"But yeah. He can be a jerk." He would probably be scared of their 'security officer' if he did not trust him as much as he did -and if he was not more frightened of Mikhail Rasputin who had moved in with his two younger siblings not long after Percy & his older brothers had joined their odd new family. That man was huge, powerful, and potentially psychotic. Percy looked at him as a loose cannon. At least with Seifer... he was fairly predictable. One knew what would set the gunblader off.
