The machine echoed a loud "start", and immediately, Brynjar started hitting the buttons. His character was rather quick, but his attacks weren't very strong, which left his life to decline rather rapidly.

Still completely unsure as to what she was doing, Charity began to hit her fingers hard against the buttons, moving her character around as best as she could. She was slow moving, but her hits did a decent amount of damage. To the girl, it was anybody's game.

After losing two consecutive games, Brynjar smiled as the machine spit out tickets on her side. "Good game, Charity~"

She blushed slightly, gently tearing the tickets from the machine and handing them to the boy. "You played good, too," Charity smiled with a nod, her free hand gripping onto her sleeve as usual.

He took the tickets with a thoughtful expression, smiling to her. "Would you like to combine tickets and see what we can get?" he questioned, unsure of why else she'd have handed them over.

"Those are rightfully yours though~" she replied cheerfully. "You paid for the game, so the tickets are yours even if I win." Charity gave a firm nod, smiling warmly at the other. "So really you can get whatever prizes you want if you get enough~"

The boy smiled brightly, chuckling softly. "Well, kær, would you like a snack before we continue on with the games?" he asked, winking. "Also my treat."

The girl blinked at him before hesitantly smiling. "Sure, if you're really okay with that." Charity wrapped her arms around herself, the long sleeves covering her hands. "Your language must be so fun to speak if you keep using words from it~ Like, I'm French, but it's easy for me to speak in English because I don't really like the French language. It's not fun to speak at all."

Brynjar chuckled heartily, taking Charity to the snack counter. "French, you say? I'm sure that language is difficult! I can't help but speak Icelandic, because you're right, it is so fun," he continued. Ordering himself a large pretzel and an order of nachos, he turned to Charity to wait for hers.

"I guess it's only difficult if you don't speak it natively," she said with a shrug of her shoulder. Charity quickly mumbled her order: a churro and a slushee. "I hope it doesn't cost too much," the girl pouted.

"Never fear, Charity-dear, for Brynjar has plenty of these," he said, pulling out a large sum of one dollar bills. He set the proper amount on the counter, letting the worker know to keep the change.

The girl chuckled, rather unfamiliar with the bill, let alone so many of them in one place. "You get to keep so much monies with you?" Charity asked, a little surprised. "You must be rich~"

"Maybe, maybe not. Richness comes from mind, not money," Brynjar spoke, swinging on his heels as he took his drink and snacks to one of the small tables. "Richness of personality, wisdom, and knowledge, sure," he continued, taking a bite from the hot pretzel. "Hot-hot-hot-hot!" he exclaimed. After swallowing, he sighed, shaking his head. "Maybe not so much on intelligence," he spoke, scratching the back of his head.

Having followed him with her own drink and snack, Charity pouted after situating herself in the seat. "Are you okay?" the girl asked with a frown, looking at the boy. "You should be careful." She looked to her churro before lightly blowing on it.

"Ah, surprisingly, I've been told that my whole life," the boy boasted, giving her a large grin. Taking a bite of his now-barely-cool-enough pretzel, he sighed an exhale through his nose, giving the girl a thoughtful glance.
