You know me, I scoff and hate all current religion but would gladly die for the Imperial Cult, as it is something built up around the one thing Mankind is good at. It's not about peace, understanding or "loving" eachother. The Imperium is built up around two things: Worship of the Emperor, our beloved guardian on Terra. And the second thing? Look at our short but violent history. Isn't Mankind a violent species, with an exceptional bloody 20th century?
