Dame had just made a mistake, well, partially anyway. By trying to rapidly melt the ice at that high of a temperature, the intense heat had turned the water in the ice into hydrogen and oxygen. One doesn't have to be a genius to know that under heat, hydrogen and oxygen ignite...and explode.
Dame's heat would indeed melt part of the ice around his arms, but the ice would explode right near him, causing razor sharp chunks of ice to fly directly at his face, torso, and arms. It might do anywhere as little as 100 damage, or as much as 250 due to the close range... it really depended on if Dame had been expecting the ice in front of him to detonate in such a way...
As Dame was dealing with the icey bomb around his arms, the attacking man quickly had to deal with Ryugi's flames, as they had struck out towards him as he attacked Dame, and therefore, had left him open. However, using three more turns of energy, the man fired a freezing blast of energy with his unoccupied left hand even as the flames licked at his body, much stronger than Ryugi's flames towards Ryugi's arm and hand... As he fired the icy blast, he jumped away from Ryugi and Dame, getting his bearings.

*Far from the dragon continent lays a small island with a tall, thin jut of rock splitting it in half. The island is known only as Leviathan Island, the last refuge for the near extinct species of magical sea serpants known as leviathan. A lone "man" lives upon this island, watching over the island itself and the creatures that dwell around it. His name is Enki Leviathan, the ancient water-spirit gone human, and he was enjoying a nice, quiet day on the beach, listening to the call of the leviathan until one specific youngster called out something very interesting.
Not often one to talk directly TO the leviathan in case any passing ship or visiter to the island were to see, he couldn't help but do so now*
Wait... what did you just say?
*The rather small Leviathan and a much larger one swim toward thew short a bit, the only thing able to be seen under the rippling of the waves is the glow of their eyes. A beautiful chorus of whistles and wails from the creatures makes Enki c**k an eyebrow. He then puls off his coat and s**t shirt, leaving on only his pants as he walks into the water, then hops utop the larger of the two leviathan*

*It's a very good thing Enki trusts his leviathan, otherwise he'd be wondering why in the bloody caverns they were headed straight toward a huge storm. When they are about a few hundred yeards from the edge of the storm, the leviathan begins to submerge into the water. Enki takes a very deep breath and cocks an eyebrow as he swears he can see a land-mass through the thick storm.
The leviathan continues along it's path, the forst of the storm distorting the water above them and causing currently to rip and pulls them through the waters. The strong sea serpant fights it's way through the waves as Enki holds on tightly to it's body as it swims quickly through the waves.
After what seems like an eternity, the creature resurfaces again, Enki taking a huge breath of air and very thankful for his supernatural abilities. The leviathan only continutes on it's course as Enki pets it gently, gazing up in wonder at the enormous land mass that was before him*
Now how did that get there...?
*Once close to short, Enki dismounts and pats the serpant on the head lightly, much as one would a horse and tells it that he will call for it when needed. Enki looks about and turns back around, slowly wlaking up onto the warm, sandy beach, looking around at the enormous island set before him*

"Lady Silver, I'm flying to the beach. Would you like to join me?" Luminia said very energetically.
"No thanks, dear. You go on and have fun," Lumie heard the old silver say. She bid her farewell and bounded out the door, carrying a basket with her bathing suit inside, and some snacks for later. She ran out to the fields and to her usual hilltop, where she changed forms and took to the skies. Normally, it'd take a day's walk to reach the coast, but since Luminia started practicing her flying skills, she's found that it's much more convenient, and faster, travelling by air.
The young gold dragon lit upon the beach some time later, in less than half the time it would've taken her walking. Setting her basket down, she held off reverting back to her human form and padded up to the shore. She always enjoyed the feel of the cool waves washing against her glinting scales, and the smells always excited her.
She padded back to where she put her basket down, her serpentine form rippling and shrinking back into that of a girl with golden hair. She looked up and down the beach to see if anyone else was around. Seeing nobody, so far, she changed quickly into her bathing suit. It was a gold and blue one-piece that tied around the back of her neck. Kicking off her sandals and giggling like a schoolgirl, she ran into the waves and started splashing around in them.

Dame fell over, gripping the cuts on his faces.
Damnit!
He rolled on the ground, untill his face went numb from the ice sticking in his face. It was melting, mixing with the blood, and he was baring his fangs. He had huge gashes across his face, his eyes, and you could see peices gliterring in his armor.
Ow...
Dame held the thunder blade to his side, and pulled in another charge.

*Enki runs his hands through his long, blue hair, getting the water out of it as he wades up onto the shore, looking around again after having swore he saw a figure in the sky. Not seeing anything up there now, he figures it was a bird and walks up further onto the shore, his pants still soaking wet. His eyes glow a bright blue and the water drains from his pants and onto the sandy beach, the cloth now almost completely dry. Enki found that it was getting harder to use his water abilities when in human form, preffering to only use them when he needs to, and wet pants were definately a situation that required their use.
He stands on the beach for a moment, closing his eyes and looking up into the sky, letting the warmth of the sun dry the water from his skin, then opens his eyes once again and starts heading inland a bit, still on the beach*

Luminia suddenly stopped splashing around, standing in the water as the waves crashed against her. She felt... something. She wasn't sure what it was, since she'd never felt it before. Well, maybe she had, but she doesn't remember. For some reason, though, the feeling compelled her to look down the shore, where she thought she saw someone, or something, in the distance moving inland. It was too far to be too distinct, though.
Always too curious for her own good (her father often wondered if she was a copper dragon in a past life), she decided to walk down the beach and investigate, hoping that maybe whatever it was hadn't gone too far along. She also hoped it wasn't hostile. She whispered a prayer to Bahamut before moving along, walking down the beach and searching, following the feeling inside of her.

*The hauntingly beautiful call of a leviathan catches Enki's attention and he looks down shore, spotting what looks like a young girl coming up the beach towards him. He can't help but wonder how he didn't notice her before as he stops and stands there, hands rested upon his hips in a rather non-threatening manner, his hair flitting a bit behind him, weighed down by the moisture still in it's blue webs*

The breeze blew some golden locks in her eyes when she turned her head, hearing the call of a leviathan. What was it doing all the way here? she wondered. Remembering what she was doing, she turned her eyes and saw the strange man with long blue hair. Was he a dragon too? The feeling inside of her was stronger now, and it seemed to be coming from this... person. The girl stopped in her tracks, staring at him.
"H-hello there," she said a little nervously, obviously embarassed that somebody else was on this beach afterall.

"My name is Luminia," she replied, gazing back with her gold eyes. "Oh, it's alright. I was just playing in the water. I don't get to come to the beach often. Are you from around here?"
She suddenly blushed, remembering that she indeed was still on the beach, dripping wet, and in a bathing suit. Oh, how embarassing! she thought. She felt she'd be even more embarassed if she moved to cover herself up, so she just stood there, looking pretty... embarassed.

Lumie tilted her head, confused. She always thought Angara was the whole world. That's what she was always told anyway. "Don't go trying to fly through the storm, you'll just end up on the other side of Angara," her father always told her. Did Enki come from a land beyond the ocean? She was growing curiouser and curiouser.
"Not from here? Where are you from then?" she asked innocently.

*Being the creature that Enki is, he isn't exactly sure how he should answer that question. He thinks for a moment and decides on the greatest answer, though it would seem this being isn't exactly too aware of the outside world so he dumbs it down as best as he can*

"Ga-ee-ah." She tested the unfamiliar word on her lips. "I wonder if Lady Silver has heard of it. She seems to know everything."
She seemed to lose herself in thought for a moment, then returned her attention to Enki. "Oh! Do you have anyplace to stay? I'm sure Lady Silver wouldn't mind a guest, seeing as how we're friends now and all. She always said I should make new friends instead of hanging out with an old crone like her."
