Miangel I started playing the tenor about ten months ago. I decided I wanted to be in jazz band and went to my band director, and she told me to learn tenor, since one of the tenor players was a senior and graduating at the end of the year. I started on flute, though. There's three tenors in our band - me, a guy friend of mine who I kinda like, and some random sophomore guy I don't know. Our wind ensemble sax section's fairly big this year - there's four altos, two tenors, and a bari. We get our own row! xd It's cool! wiw thats so kool woot woot saxes lol and flute at the same time darn your good ... i play sax trombone , drums and such but yea flute woot woot jazz all the way huh lol sweatdrop

Flute and sax are easy to switch between because the fingerings are essentially the same.
It's great.

That pic rocks biggrin . Yea I can play alittle flute as well Nappy, I was VERY surpirsed how much they were alike.
I am thinking about getting a better tenor sax (I want to practice crying even if my band days are over) but I am poor, what is a good Sax at a good price. I don't know exactly how much I am willing to spend.

Well...it would be a lot easier to know your price limits. But, sadly, I only know about altos. No tenors. sad

SirSteaksause I prety much can say, I can play All of them. I bet Everyone (if they Try) can play every single one ( from High soprano to the Low Contrabass) Yeah, but once you get out of the alto-tenor-bari range, it's much harder to play in tune.
I've already found that out with my soprano. u.u;

My college has to have a decent music program. I want to major in computer engineering, but I'd like to minor in music/saxophone as well. <3
