"Really, it's nothing important. Even though I know you would care, this is really dumb.." Ryka looked up at Seht and smiled. "Don't worry about me. I'm just happy to have such a great friend like you." Ryka said, throwing her arms around Seth's neck.

Seth was shocked at Ryka's gesture. "Oh, um. Thank you." he said, looking away. He saw a figrue coming his way. I wonder who that is?

Jaeshan and his two companions meandered around for a while, happy to see the crowd had thinned out by quite a bit. As he walked, he thought he saw a familiar figure in the distance. It was Ryka. His spirits picking up a bit, he made his way towards her, arriving just in time to see her throw her arms around someone: Seth.
What? he thought, his eyes widening at the sight. He walked up to the two of them, the expression on his face unreadable. "....Ryka?" he asked quietly.

"Oh great. So we have to do all the dirty work." Mag said as he realized how craptastic he would do against the people he thought that they wanted him to battle. Seems like I was right about the blackmail. Good thing Mitsu hasn't blown my cover yet.

Joe laughed. "Why waste effort when we have people to do it FOR us?"
Mike and Kasiya better fight hard. "Dirty work?" Mitsu scoffed. Hah, we'll cream them. It'll be child's play!" Mitsu said with a smirk, playing her role as the dedicated Rocket.
Sapphire tottered behing her, panting happily. Karri had floated over around the forest to the small group. "She's not going to go easy on you guys," she said to Kasiya, Keegan, and Mike. "Nor does she seem like herself."
The small group soon reached an opening and the trainers could be seen, but they were hidden quite well.

Dante watched the two pokemon start there little practice match for a moment before going over to sit under a tree Meowth following him and sitting down in his lap when he sat. "For some reason this festival is kind of a disapointment. Not getting Kenny of course. I allready like the little guy, its just that I am not really into it you know?" He asked more to himself then Meowth. For his part Meowth just looked up at him one eye open and the other closed as if to show he was listening but didn't really feel like responding.

Flura woke up in the middle of the night, she smiled as she saw her Tododile sleeping soudly in his little bed. Flura decided that she'd take a walk around the city.
"I wonder when the ship to Violet City will get here?" Flura wondered to herself as she sat down near the harbour.

Keegan chased his suprisingly fast Psyduck through the crowd, finally grabbing her before she was stepped on.
"You can't go running off, Althena," he told her sternly, but his harsh look melted as she gave him a cute little smile. "Aww..." he sighed, and stood up, looking around. They'd gotten quite aways from the main group, and as he surveyed the surroundings, he started to get the feeling that something was wrong. "I wonder where Mitsu got off to," he murmured as he saw Mike and his massive Steelix looming nearby.

Flura left the beach and headed home. She entered her home and saw a message on her computer. It read:
Help Wanted, young trainer required. All expenses paid for trainers who require it. My office is located in New Bark Town.

Flura's eyes widened when she saw the message. She looked at the times when a plane was leaving Cianwood to New Bark Town. She saw a plane leaving in 20 minutes! Flura quickly woke up her Tododile and placed him in her pokeball. She got everything that she needed and ran towards the airport.

Ryka pulled back just in time to see Jaeshan walk up. "Jaeshan?" She asked him. "I thought that you'd probably want to get away from me." She said, looking down. "I was hoping that you didn't, because I really like it when you're around." She looked up and smiled at him. She could tell what he wanted to ask. "Seth here was trying to cheer me up, that's all."
Suddenly, a loud sound was heard. Ryka looked up to see fireworks crowding the beautiful night sky. She sat back down and stared into the water, reflecting the light show in the sky.

Portabello and Nitro hopped down from the massive Steelix's back and stood behind their trainer, who was explaining the whole Rocket situation to Kasiya and Keegan. Keegan darted off chasing his Psyduck. Mike chuckled and shot a look at Felsic, who was happily perched on his shoulder. "Don't you get any funny ideas." The baby Cyndaquil rolled over on his back and wiggled a bit, disarming Mike's semi-assertive tone with its adorable antics.

"Why would you think that?" Jaeshan asked, stunned. "At first, I thought that maybe you didn't want me around." He gave Seth an appreciative nod. "Well, I, uh, like having you around too," he said finally, as fireworks shot into the sky. "Wow," he said, admiring the explosive colours in the air.
Bagon and Mightyena watched as well, both entranced by the pretty sights.

Keegan made his way back over to Kasiya, Mike, and the mysterious boy in black, who didn't seem to want to say anything. Keegan assumed there was some sort of history there, but didn't press it. Psyduck sang to herself happily, waving her arms around as they walked. "So, do we have a game plan?" he asked once he'd rejoined the small group.

"Kilik..." Kasiya said after the boy hadn't said anything in reply. "I don't know why you're here, and I don't know all the details. But something big is about to go down, and there's a chance for you to redeem yourself, at least in my eyes." Kasiya gave him a smile, sure that this smiling, friendly Kilik was the one Nina had liked so much. She looked over at Mike, and Keegan, who was coming back over to them. "We won't let them win," she added. "Mitsu would never forgive us if we held back. We have to go all out."

"Right, we can't let them know she's just acting." He replied to Kasiya, who was talking about repentance to the mysterious boy. Mike walked over to get a better look and almost gasped. "Kilik!" He almost shouted. "I haven't seen you in ages!" He gave him a quick handshake as Nitro waved, remembering the boy from Lavender town.
