The girl only shoom her head as she was looking about. "Remind me to stay alive when we fight then." She mumbled as she had her arms crossed over her chest.

The Blacksmith began to walk. His huge legs made no sound as he walked through the empty space that seemed to indicate nothing, and reveal everything. Strands of blue fog passed around his body, and Kayura noticed that it was the same for her as well. Was she passing through the spirits of the dead, now stagnant for all time?
She could not answer the question and did not want to. She focused on what she saw up ahead, and she felt sick to her stomach at once. She saw Dais, without his armor, bound to a malformed tree. His head was slumped down, and he didn't seem to notice anything. Kayura realized that whatever was happening to him not only prevented him from coming back to the mortal world, but also from passing on to the one beyond it. She searched for the guardian, and saw a long flow of auburn hair next to tree. She realized she was looking at Anubis.

Lena blinked, catching up easily to the Blacksmith and Kayura. Accostomed the strange blue that others about her found uneasy, she smiled slightly to them, as if a wry form of encouragement, reaching back, she grabbed thee flute that stayed at her hip, "It'll be alright, Kan-chan, guys..."
Rowen glanced about, quirking an eyebrow as he looked at the auras, some more pronounced then others, "Lena...is this what you see all the time?"
Kento and Cye were finding it rather unsettling as well.
"Yea.....this is where my power stems from....what it stems from....Though, generally it's more colorful with regular spirits and all in the living world....many of these spirits mourn, or find themselves caught in this afterlife, unable to move on," LIfting her head, her eyes widened, recognizing the binding which Dais was caught within. Beside him stood a spirit she knew all too well, one who had talked with her from time to time, claiming it was to pass away the time. Frowning, she stepped down beside Kayura and the Blacksmith, speaking out, "Anubis..?

Kanita blinked rapidly as she was seeing things that she had never seen before. 'Insanly weird.' She thought as she was waving her hand back and forth infront of her face. Looking towards the others, she noticed the aura colors were matching their armors. Looking back to her hand, she notcied that hers did not. Instead of being a lightly blue color, she noticed that it was the of a misty blackish blue color. 'Intreasting.'
Looking up as she heard Lena call out a name, she noticed that the one named Dais was pinned to a tree. "So who are they Onna?" SHe asked as she had her head tilted to a side. This was all still new to her, but she tried to follow along.

This time, it wasn't Lena who spoke, but Rowen, "The person on the tree is a man named Dais....the other? Is Anubis...who died long ago..."

"Uh..." The girl had fallen silent as she looked at the boy, then pointed towards the two. "Friends of yours?"

Dannin threw all caution aside, running to the tree and falling to her knees in front of Anubis. She cried his name, trying to wake him. But he would not wake.
"Something is not right here," Kaylyn said, "something draws near."

Anubis stood up. His eyes surveyed everyone before him as if he had never used them before. "The will of the Ancient One," Anubis said slowly, "Commands that I keep Dais here. He must not be released into the mortal world."
"I never knew the Ancient One," Kayura said, "But you were the one who gave your own life the save the Ronin Warriors, and the planet. How is it that you can say it isn't worth the risk now?"
"Deteriorate mind his has," The Blacksmith said, "From a spirit being."
"Then, I'm sorry, Anubis, but we have no choice but to fight you," Kayura declared.
"Fight...me?" Anubis turned his head awkwardly back to consider Dais. "He doesn't know. The suffering of mortal life. Would you return him to that purgatory?"

Lena looked up at Anubis in alarm, "Something is screwy with him! I don't like the feel of his aura.....Dani..."
She hurried over to the woman's side, kneeling beside her to help before lifting her head to watch Anubis, "I don't believe you to be right! Anubis! I hold his armor crystal in my hand....It pulses with the need to be reunited with it's bearer...that would not happen if he were truly meant to pass into the afterlife."
Inigashi and Zephyr fluttered in, now visible to al others who normally couldn't be seen, the element they were in illuminating thier bodies as they flew to Lena's side, Inigashi speaking, "What are you trying to do, Anubis! We Saved him!"

Dannin looks up, her face torn between disbelief and betrayl. But Kaylyn held no feeling in her eyes. Ryo was slightly dumbfounded, but only for a moment.
"If he is Anubis, he is a shadow of my brother," Kaylyn says, "and deserves to be put to rest."

"Don't let him go," Anubis' words came out like syrup- very slowly. "Don't let my friend return to what is not his. I am charged....charged with keeping him....don't let him give her the key....the key to destroy all worlds."
"Not choice yours," The Blacksmith replied to Anubis.

Lena blinked, looking up from where she was beside Dani, frowning slightly before standing to turn and face Kaylyn and Kayura.
"Are you sure it must happen? Isn't there another way? Anubis has helped us alot," Cye asked, looking between them all.
Zephyr flitted down beside them, his blue, air like aura, surrounding his body, "It has to be done....ALl of us spirits feel his corruption..."
Kento asked, turning serious, " I don't like this guys...."

Dannin shakes her head, "Not again, please not again."
Kaylyn draws two swords from out of nowhere. She stands in front of all the Ronins and stares Anubis down.
"If he was meant to die, he would not be called by his armor," Kaylyn says, "and if you are my brother, you will understand that there is a time to live and a time to die."

"You'll have to send him, Lena," Batrias spoke up. "Use the spirits to send Anubis to where he belongs."
"Don't...let....him suffer," Anubis pleaded.
"It's the only choice you have," Batrias resumed. "Because you can't kill what is already dead."

Rowen looked at Batrias with something akin to frustration as he began to speak, "we can't do that to a friend!"
"You have no choice!" Inigashi snapped, fire rising up about him.
"Right!" Lena stood, looking for all the world that she hated doing this. Turning to face Anubis, she ignored all else, "I'm sorry...Anubis...but it's time....for you to go on..."
Raising the flute to her mouth, she gave him a sad smile before playing it, the instrument itself acting as a spiritual enhancer for the task she was given to do. Playing an erie tune that came to one's mind as simply as anything else, she focused solely on the lost spirit before her, using the Flute of the Spirits to begin to push the spirit back.
