I've been playing clarinet for two years now. I've been in four different bands and a clarinet choir. I just got promoted to the second highest band in my school.

I usually play clairinet. During marching band I did. Now since it's over for me, I started playing bass clairinet. We had tooooo many clairinets. 9 in a 33 person band...

The head the smallest band like 7 flutes, maybe 7 clarinets, about 7 trumpets, about 4 trombones and some percussion, so mayber 30 people? Now there are in marching band: 3 flutes, 3 clarinets, 3 bells, 4 percussion, 3 trombones i think, 2 trumpets, and 4 saxes (alto and tenor) and in concert band: 1 flute, 1 clarinet, 1 trombone, the 2 trumpets are in jazz band as are one or two of the saxes i believe, and the percussion are in the percussion ensemble. That had nothing to do with me but ....*shrugs* I remember 3/4 of the seniors 8th grade band was us current juniors!

our band room is way too small. we are so squished on wednesday with the seventh graders that there is almost no room to put the stands! but theyre tearing down our beautiful, old, junior high and combining the two junior highs in our city! there will be about 200 band members in the new school! the good thing is we'll have a new (hopefully larger) band room. but i will probably be a senior by the time they get that finished... i couldnt stand being a combined band with our rival school!

I have played clarinet since the 7th grade and I just started my freshman yr in college... *tear* I miss marching band! The band I have joined is only concert! *shakes fist at Cameron* The college I go to doesnt have a football team so I dont get to march! *crys into hands* Oh well *sighs* I will get over it! I still get to see my old band march and they are doing okay... They got a 2 and 2 at the Cameron competition! Yea!
