Yeah, Richmond's kitty has a name. I didn't know he had a cat until recently when I was on Suikosource.
Question regarding the music: I've been assuming that "Four different songs play when I'm around" means that "I have been around when there are four different songs playing" (As in, s/he/it is in one place with music, then there's different music, et cetera) not that "I change the music." Am I correct?

Yes. The character in question is in one place, and that particular place has four different different songs that play in it while he's in the room.
It's not Bonaparte.

Nope. Am I the only one who finds it funny that people are guessing characters with more or less than 3 syllable names? That's pretty much where you should start when you're guessing!
Five guesses left until I win!
Guessed names list is one post up. If you can't find it too bad.
1. I THINK PEOPLE MAY HAVE A HARD TIME HEARING ME SOMETIMES 2. MY INVESTIGATIVE POWERS ARE TOP NOTCH, BUT NOBODY WOULD EXACTLY CALL ME A DETECTIVE. 3. THERE ARE FOUR DIFFERENT SONGS THAT PLAY WHEN I'M AROUND 4. I join with somebody else, and you can't recruit me without recruiting my partner. 5. Me being hungry is never a problem. 6. I hold no relevance to the main story whatsoever. 7. My name has three syllables. 8. I'm only in one of the games. 9. I don't have a face. 10. When I raise my right hand, people cheer wildly!

******** I was so close to winning sad
Yes, it's Fu Tan Chen.
1- He always shouts through a microphone so that people can hear him. 2- He knows exactly what everyone in the castle likes to eat, but obviouly he's not a detective like Richmond or Kidd or anybody. 3- Grand Cooking Battle, Menu Selection, Winner!, and Loser! all play when he's on-screen. There's a 5th song in that area, that plays while you're actually cooking, but Fu isn't on-screen at that time. 4- He only joins when Hai-Yo joins up. And obviously, since you can't initiate cooking battles without Hai-Yo, you'll never see Yu until he's with you. 5- He hosts the cooking duels. You can assume he's quite well fed. 6- Duh. He's not even really a "character" in teh main game, how can he hold any relevance to the plot? 7- "Fu", "Tan", and "Chen" are all single syllables, but that should have been obvious. 8- Only is Suikoden 2! 9- No character portrait. 10- When he raises his right hand, it's time for Hai-Yo, Army Chef to come on-screen! The members of your army go wild with ********. I was sooooo close sad What a rip-off. Ok, Quistis, your turn.

Damnit! I knew it. After I read Lily's 2nd to last post about 'almost winning' I was like. 'You know, I bet it's that cooking contest announcer.' Then I scroll down and I saw Quistis' response. I was bummed and hoped that she wasn't right (Cause I wanted to win. Heh.) Then Lily killed my dream... emo Good job Quistis! That sure was hard, Lily.
