((I'm guessing Rosaline is the particular dress maker? x3 ))

Alti nodded. "Mother made me promise to go... I'm actually going to be performing for a bit... just some flute music, nothing too special for my Kingdom but since it's held outside this year, Mother thought it would be good to sneak in some of our... tradition," he explained. The Storms people didn't usually perform music for outsiders - it was considered something... special, something pure. They usually sent out dancers or the like to fill their part in National festivities.

".. I don't even want to know why you have a dress already," Dax said, shaking his head. He was left in a state of both pouting over not getting what he wanted and fuming because he had to be the woman. How dare Sayael be so confident! He'd get him back somehow. "And I had better be pretty if I have to do this. The attire will be bad enough but if I am suppose to have one blemish or flaw, I won't do it.. And I hope you know I'll be the nagging type of wife that's always wanting something." His voice changes into a high-pitch- "'Oh, darling look! A box of expensive diamonds', and 'Sweetheart, I want the specially imported chocolates! Only the kind in the blue box!'"
Sayael grinned. "Only the best for my Daxy," he teased, eyes glinting. "Of course we'll pick you up some nice souveneirs and things... and you'll be quite pretty. We'll just have to make some adjustments to your... cleavage. It'll be easy enough with magic." He seemed supremely happy, having got his way, and the prospect of seeing Dax in a dress only sweetened the deal.

"My.. My cleavage?! I thought I would just have to pad my chest!" Dax said, frowning. He didn't like that Sayael was having so much fun with this idea. "We don't really have to go as far as using magic, right?" Sure, visiting new towns would definitely be exciting, but in the form of the opposite sex? Maybe he could find some way to force some fun into this one they got there. "I mean.. You don't have to have a prized wife with large breasts, do you?"

[[hahahaha. Sayael and Dax crack me up! Oh. and yes, Rosy was the dressmaker.]]

Muertian smiled internally as the other repeated his name. It sounded nice when the dressmaker said it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Rosaline," he said agreeably.

It was then that he breathed in a rather curious, sweet scent. Flowery. However, the teen had absolutely no idea where this pleasant aroma came from. He merely continued to smile at the 'lady'. "Well, I can't just leave alone or else you may be too distracting to unsuspecting passersby," he reasoned, conveniently leaving out the fact that Rosaline had greatly distracted him, "Would you take a walk with me?"

Rosaline smiled and nodded. "That sounds... nice," he murmured. It would be good to get outside into the sun... Where he lived was not the brightest part of the Death Kingdom and it was much safer to stay inside than out. But he did not allow his mind to rest on those thoughts just in case any of them showed on his face. It would, innevitably, cause the other to ask him what was wrong, and it was not good to draw attention to oneself. On the other hand, he simply didn't wish the other to ask about him - it was always hard to lie to people, especially when they seemed kind and this one was certainly nice enough. "I've never really been around the palace any more than when I bring my dresses up, so it would be nice to see outside," he explained with a soft, slightly embarrassed smile.

"No, those women are annoying. It just has to look convicing and oranges stuffed down blouses don't exactly go unnoticed." He looked thoughtful for a moment and then added, "As a matter of fact, I'll have to alter my appearance a bit - just in case. Hmmm... how do you think I'd look with black hair? Or maybe I should try aubrun this time..." He had been abroad so often that he was used to changing appearnaces and no longer found it disturbing - on the contrary, it was quite fun. "And maybe we should give your hair a slight reddish tint and make your eyes green. I couldn't probably make you a lap dog, too, out of a rabbit or something."

"Red hair and green eyes.. I'm going to look like a strawberry," the blonde prince retorted. He knew the more they were disguised, the less of a chance they'd be identified, though. He slowly turned his eyes over to the boy riding beside him. "You know, if you're going to be making the decisions for my appearance, I think it'd only be fair if I get to decide how you look, too. And don't tell me I can't do that either! I already have to be a woman, and that's bad enough. I want to be able to do something and creating your new image sounds suitable enough."

He shrugged. "Sounds reasonable. Just don't give me a hump back or a mole or anything, alright? I don't think you'd want an ugly husband," he murmured, looking almost like a smug cat with the smile he was wearing. "And your hair wouldn't be red. It would be like... strawberry blond with red tips. And your eyes would be pale green. You've already got the right skin for it, so I don't need to change that."

[[I actually hadn't thought of that, but hey, whatev. xD]]

The young lady smiled gently, "Well, I always heard the storms nation dancers were enjoyable, it will be nice to hear of something new." Turning dark eyes towards her brother, the auburn haired woman frowned slightly, "What exactly is the fire kingdom doing for the festival?" She asked before Haar grinned a sly smile.

"Not exactly sure actually. I just figured we'd have some mages do some fire magic like usual, or...just have those fire dancers do a routine again, I guess I could always ask the king...or a prince or something if they have any idea what's going to be happening," he murmured, leaning against the wall before straightening himself, "Anyway, I really need to go speak with the king for a bit- and I promised Alti he could meet our prince," he explained before quickly pulling the girl into a short hug. "Take care of yourself, make sure you take someone reliable with you on your trip to the oh so lovely kingdom of death, I'm sure you'll have a just wonderful time there," Haar murmured against his sister's head with a hidden grin. "Well then, I'll see you later," he murmured before letting the girl hurry along her way down the hall.

(LMAO @ happily married piccy. Very nice, Mie)

"I'm still going to look like a fruit," he pouted. Despite his somewhat feminine features, he was obviously against heightening them further. Already his mind was flooding with ideas on what to do with Sayael. It would be humorous to make him a pain to behold, but the other prince was right. He wouldn't want an ugly husband. "Sayael.. What if I make such a pretty lady that someone would want to buy me or steal me away?"
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 6:02 pm

Sayael frowned slightly, thinking. "Hnnn... then I'd just have to tie a sign on you that said 'mine' in big menacing letters. Don't worry, I'll protect you." He grinned, somehow doubting the other prince would need protecting. "Anyway, you can be my feirce wife that has scared off all suitors besides myself."

"Why are you going to the Kingdom of Death?" Alti asked the girl curiously. He had never been allowed to visit that particular kingdom, but he always wanted to. He had a rather... morbid sense of humour and couldn't quite help wanting to visit the Deathly place himself.

"Hmph.. I think I will be," Dax said haughtily, his nose once again pointing up into the air proudly. "I'll be the dominant wife who always takes control of every situation. You, my helpless husband, will be the one that needs protecting, if anything." He knew it was rare for women to assume that role, and though he doubted he'd look the part of 'assertive lady' -especially when wearing a dress- it would still be amusing. "Who would need some silly lap dog with you around?"

"I'm sure you'll play the part well, Da- hmmm... Stella. You could be Stella. How about it?" Stella had been the name of one of his least favorite nannies - a very strong-willed, imposing woman who was unnaturally sharp-witted and -tongued. She had usually been able to catch up with the nefarious action of the young prince Sayael.

The girl laughed, turning around quickly to explain, "Why, our littlest princess couldn't go to the festival without the very best dress. Apparently there's a rather talented seamstress living there. I was told to give whoever they are additional measurements," she murmured, checking in her dress pocket for the slip of paper with said measurements before she turned back around, scurrying down the hall, "It was nice meeting you!"

Haar gave the girl a small wave before opening the door for Alti, "Seems like everyone is obsessed with this festival," he murmured with a slight shrug, not really interested in going. Not only would he be forced into being a sort of diplomat again, he would most likely also be put in charge of making sure Peyton got that damn pet he wanted. He figured Ceris would be going, seeing as how it would be held in his home land, he could just ask for the mage to watch over the blonde for him...

"Oi! Oi! Hurry up!" After scrubbing at the boy's shirt, Cain was being ordered to make haste and quickly return to the training hall. Peyton didn't want to get caught out of bed, even if he wasn't exactly walking. The knight turned the corner and nearly smacked right into a lady that looked very much like his commanding off- "Hey!" Peyton struggled to get out of Cain's grasp in order to greet Haar's sister, who looked very much like she was on some sort of mission. The knight kept a steady hand around the boy's waist even as the woman came over to greet the two. "Oh well...well hello, Peyton. Unfortunately I can't stay to talk, I need to get to the death kingdom as quickly as possible." Peyton's blue eyes lit up at the idea of venturing off to another kingdom. "Can I go?" He asked, and recieved a slightly reluctant look from the girl. "Oh, come on...I'm Shay's apprentice!" Shan explained that was why she was so worried. After a few minutes of pleading, the girl finally sighed heavily and murmured that Peyton could be her escort to the kingdom. Unfortunately for the blonde, he had seemingly forgotten that he had been forbid to walk for quite some time, Cain nicely reminded him in a low tone. Peyton quickly turned his head towards the young woman, "It's okay...if...if he comes, right?" The girl looked slightly confused but simply shrugged and nodded. "Sure, it's fine, why might I ask?"

Cain was still half carrying him, most or less holding him up just slightly, letting the boy lean against him so as to not aggrivate the tag set upon him. Peyton knew that if Shannon knew about his accident the night earlier she would not let him come along... "I just..." Wrapping arms around the knights waist, the blonde grinned up at Cain with a slightly nervous exprfession. "I just can't see myself going anywhere without him," he murmured in an almost love sick voice, almost anyway. Shannon wouldn't be able to tell the difference though and laughed as she ruffled the boy's head of fair hair. "Well, come along then."

As soon as the girl was a few feet in front of them Cain glared down at the young soldier. "Was that the best you could think of?"
