vampiric_lust ((God, I'm sitting here laughing hysterically at poor Charlie.. xd )) Jack tried to absorb Walt's words. Was Charlie seriously talking to a radio? Jack understood that Charlie was still confused after the past month's events, but a radio... Jack sighed and grabbed his backpack, tossing some stuff into before heading off towards the beach. A short trek through the jungle later, Jack found Charlie settled in the sand, holding a radio covered in grass, just like Walt had said, and talking to it. Jack rolled his eyes and went to sit beside the young man.
"Hey Charlie, who's your friend?" Jack asked, motioning to the radio.((I have to run out and pick my friend up from the mall. I'll be back in 15-20 minutes!)) (Okay, see you!) Charlie looked down at the Radio, then to Jack. "Um . . .I know how this must look. Sayid just told me to sit here and watch over the radio and I did. I was bored!" He replied. He sighed heavily. "This is Radar." He replied motioning to the radio.

Jack felt the urge to laugh.
"Hey, I'm not saying a word. You're just doing what you were told," Jack said lightly.

"Hey, I'm not saying a word. You're just doing what you were told," Jack said lightly.((I'm back LOL)) (LOL Hey!) Charlie frowned over at him. "You're going to laugh aren't you? I guess I would to if I was watching me. Listening to me talk about a radio and it's name. Did you know it has a crush on one of the Green Day people? I can't tell you who though . . ." Charlie trailed off, then set the radio aside. "Forget I told you that."

It had taken all of Jack's reserve not to laugh at Charlie's predicament.
"Who's laughing? I won't say a word..." Jack replied.
So Charlie was slowly losing his mind. This was going to get interesting.

"Who's laughing? I won't say a word..." Jack replied.
So Charlie was slowly losing his mind. This was going to get interesting. Charlie sighed and smiled slightly. "It makes me want to laugh thinking about it . . .so . . .go ahead and laugh if you want." he chuckled and patted the radio. "Well, Radar is the only one who'll listen to me. Radar is the only one I feel like I really know. I mean, I wake up and I'm here. But everyone says I've been here for a month or so now. But I can't remember . . .Radar doesn't remember it's past either . . . .so we're in the same boat. Just trying to relate . . .you know?" Charlie felt like he was a bug being experimented. Jack had this look in his eyes that made Charlie squirm slightly.

Jack took Charlie's license to laugh out loud. He finished laughing and cleared his throat.
"You'll get your memory back, Charlie, just give it some time," Jack said lightly.
He hoped it was true.

Claire headed down to the beach with Rebecca in her arms. She spotted Charlie talking to Jack and she wanted to cry. She really did love Charlie, and she wished that he could remember her.

Charlie laughed with Jack, then turned slightly serious. "Who is Claire? I mean, I've seen her around with her baby, but . . . .when she looks at me . . .Is there something going on between the two of us?" He asked. He really wanted there to be, there was juts this feeling.
Sayid and Sawyer stared on their way back to the beach after a long walk. Sawyer had been threatened by an inch of his life to shut up.
"So . . .the radio . . .are you going to try to talk on it?" Sawyer asked.
Sayid looked over at him. "No. I thought it'd make a nice seat. Of Course I'm going to talk on it!"

Claire turned away from him the tears welling up in her eyes. She walked slowly down the beach and headed back towards the caves.

Lock ran into Claire on her way back tot he caves and frowned at her. "What's wrong?" he asked. He looked over her shoulder and saw Charlie and Jack and then looked back at Claire. "He remembers you, you know? Maybe if you were to talk to him some more he'd remember more about you and him."

She looked up at him her blue eyes burning with tears. "Maybe I should," she said turning and heading back slowly. Rebecca cooing in her grasp. She smiled at the baby and then at Charlie as she approced. She whiped the tears from her face quickly and sat down. "How are you doing Charlie?" she asked with a smile talking do him did make her feel a little better.

Charlie was startled by Claire's sudden presence and smiled slightly. He set Radar to the side and quickly pulled the grass off of it. "Hello Claire . . .how's the baby?" He asked. He suddenly felt like he was on cloud nine sitting beside her. There was diffently something going on between them.

A-Jinxed-Kid "She's good, do you want to hold her?" Claire asked smiling at him. "Mabye he does remember me?" she thought. Charlie looked to Jack, then Claire and the baby and nodded. "Beats holding a radio I named Radar . . .I think he's gay . . .not a good sign for me." Charlie chuckled slightly and held out his arms, taking the baby into his arms. He smiled down at her and she returned the favor. "She's beautiful." He rpelied, looking over at Claire. A flash of a memory ran through his mind and he cocked his head to one side. "Peanut butter . . .I distinctly remember peanut butter . . .I imagine you have something to do with that."
